This was a recording about an extended warranty.  Sounds like a scam to me.

Keep getting calls from this number lately!  They were saying I won something but I hung up on them.  They called back about two hours later and I told them don't call me again.  And they've called twice since then.  I now have it on my caller ID as DO NOT ANSWER.  Extremely annoying...

I have been getting calls from this number and they say that they work with WALMART they said that they wanted to give me $500 in coupons and then they asked for for my name add, credit number. i told them they are crazy to not call me anymore and they have called me 10 times since then, that was 15min ago defiantly not legit

I live in toronto, ontario and have been getting the same calls for weeks from different numbers, including this one.
Today i got one from 416-907-4361 with the exact same message. I only picked up because it was local and thought someone was trying to reach me.
This time i pressed 1 to talk to the agent, who immediately asked me for my name. i told him 'you called me - you don't know who you're speaking to?'. He immediately blurted out my phone number and told me he was putting me on the do not call list and hund up immediately.
Comments above mention that this involves the national do not call list - I'm not registered but still get these calls. I've heard of the names on the list being sold.

If anyone reads this, I urge you to try to pull yourself to gether and play into their little game ot find out more. No one seems to know what these people REALLY want. If i get the call again, i'm going to give fake information about myself and go as far as possible to see what they're after.

Why do they have my cell phone number... I don't answer cause it would cost me minutesll I am in Canada any way

This number and also 1-626-2079-9174 both called my cell and both are scams. The 626 number left machine noises on my answering machine. the 909-650-9150 number left nothing.

Same number, and same message...for a warranty. They have no accurate info on your vehicle, who its registared to etc. Once you start asking questions they hang up. Me, my husband and my 13 year old son all got this same message!

I got the call too. Are you all on Rogers? Has Rogers leaked our phone numbers to some scaller?

Just got  a new cell phone yesterday with a new number.
And got a call from this number - I have not even given my number out yet???
Not fair to pay for a service and have telemarketers call instead of friends and family.

just got called on my 416 number did not pick up. they have been calling for the past few days havnt picked up once and yet they still call.. they also do not leave a message

I've been getting a call from this number for 3 days.  I haven't bothered to answer it yet and from the comments above, I won't bother.

just got the call..the message says to press 2 to be removed from the list but it hung up before i could do so.

Call rec'd on my cell phone; only 4 people have this number.  I didn't answer as I didn't recognize the no. and no message was left.

It's a scam using the Canadian do-not-call list. I just got called a few minutes ago about my car warranty expiring. Too bad for the scammer I don't own a car.

Just recieved a call from this number on my cell - I chose to ignore the call and they didn't leave a message...third time in 7 days that something like this has happened.

Yup.  Me too.  Just received it.  It's a scam.  The message doesn't say who's calling nor does it state any specific details.

Just received the call from 909 as listed above. Did not answer. Surprisingly just got a similar call 30 min ago from another scam number, which on this site, listed it as being a Telus promotion.

Have rec'vd. lots of calls from area code 909.
I just don't bother to answer any more.

They called me saying this was a last call and that my car warranty was expiring and they would close my file if I didn't respond back.

I called the dealer where I purchased the car from and they said that such a call was not from them nor the manufacturer (in my case Mazda). The dealer said they receive calls from this number too and also some customers calls them.

It is a US company and they are not aware about what they are trying to sell.
