these fraudulent scandals scammed my mom for 137 plus got her acct info, I have reported them and I hope everyone involved in this are caught and given the maximum sentence!!!

I receive a call from a guy claiming to be Mike Davis from Citibank same scenario. His number is 909-666-7986. I wish someone could do something about thesse jerks I bet innocent people fall for their scams and get ripped off it is a shame our government cant do more against these scum bags.

He has an Indian accent...He knows my name...He's creepy

Received a call from 909-666-7986; a guy with an Indian accent left a message saying that he is from Citibank, and that I'm approved for a $10,000 loan, and asked me to call back. Obviously, any time anyone calls you saying that you've been approved or pre-approved for anything, when you haven't applied for anything, it's a fraud.

Essentially, ignore the number. Life will go on. =)

For over a week I've been receiving calls from a Bryan Adams who claims he works for
Citibank. He said I was eligible for a  loan  up to $10,000 but I needed to send $102, that I would get the money back once they looked up the receipt number. They also are using the phone # (972) 546-7557.   I am glad I saw these posts before I did anything. My Next
move will be to report these low life's to Citibank Fraud unit. and hope they catch them quickly.

YUP!! Same thing happend to me, I also called CitiBank and they do not call and tell you whether or not you are approved for a loan.  I wish i would find out who this little foreighner jerk is

I just got a message from "Jack Wilson", then he called back.  Claimed he was from Citi Bank, when I asked how he got my name and number he hung up!  I kept calling back until he answered again, claimed his name was Gary and told me to stop calling back.  He proceeds to cuss me out (really, he was very vuglar!) when I told him I wanted a manager or I was calling Citi Bank, the CA attorney General and the IN Attorney General, he said "I will kill you"....that's it!  I'm done letting these people run this Country!  Called Citi Bank, going to the police station now and the Attorney General's office tomorrow!

I work for Citibank, and I will tell you off the bat that this is fraud. I had one of the victims call our branch directly to speak to a "Gary Jones" and this is the 2nd time I've received a request to speak to him. "Gary Jones" does not work for Citibank at all. I called the number the victim gave me, and he said he works for Citi Private Bank and apologizes the clients are calling our branch direcetly and that they're confused. WRONG. When I asked for his Employee ID number he said he won't give me it unless I give him my SOCIAL SECURITY number. WRONG AGAIN. When verifying employees, we never give our social security numbers. I apologize if you are getting harassed by these people claiming to work for Citibank. I have reported this number to our fraud department and I hope they're able to put a stop to this.

Just got a call from this number.  It looks like same MO.  Citibank, 10K Loan approved, etc.  He hung up when I asked for manager and application number etc.

Total scam.  But I am afraid the guy some how got by name, number, and address.  I hope that is the extent of his information on me.

Guy name Jeff called, obviously from another country, could hardy speak English & left the same message as those above, also used the # 909-844-1510, even though the 909 area code is assigned to California,
they have booted it..
They probably got our #'s from craigslist or a similar source, put them on donotcall.gov & block them out..

This guy that has a ton of noise in the background leaving a message saying he's from Citibank and I've been approved for a $10k loan. Whatever! Hate to say it but my credit is shot and I know I'm not getting approved for a $10k loan. I called the number back and I got a message about connecting me even though there were surplus charges? He answered the phone as if he were the VP of Citibank loan department. Give me a break. Is this dude even in America???

Helen has been dead for over 20 years yet this # keeps calling my home to tell me we are approved for a Citibank loan for $10,000.

Called and said they were Citibank. I don't think so. Said I was approved for $10,000 that I NEVER applied for.

received` several calls advising me I've been approved for a loan. to go to cvs get a vanilla network card apply 133 dollars, give them card number, then loan will be applied to my acct. Return card to CVS and  get money back. Did research through Citibank customer service who declares fraud and scam
