I have the same problem with this number (and many more) claiming to be the Yellow Pages. They are NOT The REAL YELLOW PAGES! Ask your phone provider to put a PASSWORD on your account. This safeguards Third Party Providers from adding long distance service charges to your phone account!

This caller mumbled something and then apparently hung up.  It's the 3rd unwelcom call I have had today.  Will report others at another point.

Bogus scammer> note that the numbers that appear probably are fake because they can put whatever number in the caller id now if they have the right programming just like email.

A man with a foreign accent asked to speak to manager.  Said there are several, if he lets me know what he is calling about, I would direct him.  He said he was from the "Yellow Pages".  I said we have all the yellow pages ads that we need for the year.  I asked him to put us on his "do not call list".  The caller ID said "Online Education".

They always try to get you to say YES. They are a scam. They are NOT the Real Yellow Pages. Call your provider and ASK FOR A PASSWORD TO BE PUT ON YOUR TELEPHONE ACCOUNT... this safeguards from third parties adding third party charges to your long distance!

Do not take this call!  It is a scam!  It comes up "out of area" on our business land line.  When it forwards to our cell phone it comes up with the 909 number.  It is either a cramming scam or one of those third party billing scams.  They want you to confirm your address and say YES while being recorded to prove that you approve the billing.

They can not scam you if you do not answer!  At my company (that I own) no one is to take a call that comes up out of area or private.  Many times a foreign number we do not know will come up on caller ID and we will quickly google it while it rings.  9 out 10 times this site comes up with a reported scam!

Many someday when the consumer friendly Obama administration is done dealing with the economy - scamming banks - corrupt wall street etc they can help put the kabosh on telemarketing scammers.  The way things are today - we will not see that consumer protection for a while.

Someone from this number called my office... the first time he called it was an "unavailable number" asked to speak to our office manager.. the office manager was on another line.  He said he would just call back.  Two seconds later.. he calls back and the caller ID came up this number.. he again asked to speak to the office manager. I told him he was on another line. The guy then said.. "Do you know where I am calling from?" I said "No" He says.. "then how do you know who I need to talk to?".. I told him because he asked for the office manager. He then asked to speak to another assistant to the manager.. I said there is none.. he must speak to Peter... He said.. In very hard to understand english..."Obviously you don't understand english.. have a nice day" And hung up on me.
I know we have received calls before like this.. never anyone so rude. I assume it's a sales marketing spam call.. but... not sure.
