I got everyone beat on this and my poor family got sucker into this scam big time and she still believes it is true. The sick thing in these people still call her all the time and trying to convince her to get a divorce so they can get more money from her. We figured up that she sent them wires of $36,000 in last several months and the biggest transfer she did was for 5 GRAND. S*** we were so stunned that she believes that she will get a check by courier any day. Well she suppose to win 188 million dollars. When hell freezes over.
Here is the 3 phone numbers that call her all the time: Jamica Numbers: 876-841-6212 and 876-884-6212 Canada Phone number 905-740-8919. These s**** has the balls to call her several times a day to convience her to a damn divorce after 47 years of marriage. Well she is broke and has been living with my and husband. I love my in law but this s*** has to stop. This is HUGE financial strain on our us and her husband. Now her husband has to keep working at age 64 to keep all their nice things and house.
These people call her constant even though she has no more money or access to money. How do we get their money back!!

Today I found out that my Father (84 years old)has been duped into this mess. He believes he will get 18 million for helping the IRS stop money from being laundered and ending up in Jamaca.  Come to find out this person has been working him for over 18 months.  I am just livid and will be getting an old friend who works at the FBI to look into this.

Denise, I can so relate.  Sounds exactly like what my parents are going through.  Trouble is, my mother still believes.  States that her money is in London, but she is always calling Jamaica - figure that out.  She straight out lied to me that she doesn't call internationally, because that costs money.  I don't know how anyone can be so brainwashed as to believe those bleeding heart stories -I will help you pay your portion of the money we need to release the winnings, but I have had to sell my car, now my job is in jeopardy for helping you etc, etc - pulleezzee!!!  My mother believes she has failed to live up to her end of the deal.  She states "she has started this and she will finish it".  God help them!

my 83 year old mother has given her entire savings, plus borrowed on credit cards, and hocked her car which I happen to be joint holder on title. She is not sleeping, goes to the grocery store every day to wire them money. She can't pay her bills, hates my brothers and I for trying to "scam" her out of the 18 mil that is sitting in a bank waiting for her. One of my brothers answered her phone yesterday and told the person that he was scaming an old woman. He didn't care. My brother screamed at him for nearly 1/2 hour. Said he wished he could go thru the phone, pull out his evil black heart and throw it in Jamacia Bay for the sharks to feed on. When my brother had his wife get the cell phone to call 911 the scammer hung up. Now we are in the process of scraping up money to pay her bills, close her bank accounts, change her phone number, contact the police and Social Security dept(so they don;t send her check the 1st of the month) and maybe get her declared incompetent. She beleives these people and accuses her children of scamming her!!!

I have been receiving calls from these people for the past month. Each day the prize amount changes from 350,000. to 18.5 million. They asked to speak to my elderly father, but since he is deaf I take care of these calls. They asked what my age was and when I told them I was 29. They asked if they could speak to someone older. They are targeting the elderly!!

They claimed to be calling from bank of america. They gave me this number 1-909-740-8919 to verify my (his) 18.5 million in the account 827349 (And yes the pin was 763.) I didn't call it, instead I found this lovely site.

They asked for amounts ranging from $250-500. I asked them to loan me the money since I was broke. (they know i'm good for it, i'll pay them right back once i get my prize money) I'm still waiting for them to send it to me.

01 Communications, Sacramento CA has 909-740-8919 (a bank) on their roster.  01 Communications toll free number is 888-444-1111.  The customer service manager, G. Bettencourt, indicated that if a person actively calls the 909-740-8919 number that 01 Communications cannot close the number down.  If there is some way to get a subpeona (nuisance calls), then they could possibly get the number closed down.  Of course, the scammers will just get another number.  It all goes back to no one being able to do anything.  MY MOTHER IS INVOLVED WITH A JAMAICAN SCAM.  She calls her numbers in Jamaica, then calls this 909 number, and then she calls her Jamaica numbers again - this all transpires in a 10 minute span of time.  The calls in Jamaica have a carrier of MORREL LTD - CALLING CARDS.  I don't know what to do to get my mother to stop.  She, and my father, are losing all their savings and are late paying their bills for months.  PLEASE DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER 909-740-8919 or answer 876 numbers.

I work at a regional bank and one of our customers has been sending money to this scammer for MONTHS! We keep telling him it is FRAUD and he will NEVER get any money but the amount he won just mysteriously keeps increasing. He started out by sending them checks in the mail for $20 a whack 4 to 5 times a day. Then it was $40 4 to 5 times a day. Then it was $90 4 to 5 times a day. We told him it was fraud from day one but he keeps sending them money. Now he is sending them moneygrams for $900 several times a week. He is 90 years old and we cannot convince him it is fraud. We have asked law enforcement, and social services to get involved since it is elder abuse but there is nothing they can do. We asked his brother to talk to him about it and he WILL NOT STOP. He finally brought this phone number into the bank (909 740 8919) so we called it and it is just a computer. He is still sending them money but I hope to print off the messages that all of you have posted here. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR POSTING YOUR COMMENTS!! I hope this will help him realize he has blown $50,000!!

They are still going strong, My wife got a call about an hour ago. Heavy accent; same phone number; slightly altered acct number; same pin. Sounded like the same heavily accented man following up on three big checks my wife received earlier this year Our bank said the checks were fakes and the postal inspection service had no interest. Said it happened every day. The checks were posted from Nova Scotia.

Got call from 876-417-0316 (Jamaica cell phone - Woman on the line). The usual 18M and I need to call the bank at 909-740-8919 acct #827349 Pin 763. Then I was to call her back on 876-417-0316. She called me back and wants me to wire $250 (I talked her down from $2000 - am I good or what) to Robin Moore at 144 Walnut Lane, Philadelphia, PA  19144.

Came here and realized she gave me the WRONG account number - other people have MY account number. How will I ever get my money now?????? So I did not call the 909 number and saved a long distance call. We get a lot of 876 calls; all scams! They can also spoof numbers - one call looked like a local call, but it was the same scam.

hhahaha, i guess you do get the big one on that. the funny thing is, if you ask who`s name is on the package, they can`t tell you until you verify the name. which can lead to a very fun game of P...... off the islander, and the winner gets called some very interesting names by a man who calls himself bokey mckingsey. take a minute to think on that name and see how much fun you can have with that name with a russian accent. so if you speak a second language(german, cajun french and russian really gets under their skin, especailly cajun french) then kick back, get a nice, warm beer or sake and have fun.

Got call on answering maching from "James Carter" at 202-350-9586.  Voice sounded distorted saying I won 18 Million dollars through a "Reader's Digest lottery that was run by the Washington Lottery'.  I called back and he provided information to call 909-740-8919 and give account 827349 with a PIN of 763 and he would call back.  I immediately googled the numbers and got this site.  I was extremely suspicious at the start as it sounded too fake.  I never called the site and he called back and I told him that I googled the information and many people had been scammed with the same information.  He started getting fustrated, and I told him that I wasn't falling for it.

Boy anyone who falls for this stuff deserves to lose their money! With all the publicity about scams it's hard to believe there are still people out there who fall for this stuff. Remember the old saying ..."if it sounds too good to be true..it probably is".  Here's another for you. "A fool and his money are soon parted"...need I say any more?

The number they called from was 876-849-4929 and that we had "won" the Grand Prize sweepstakes.  Right!! I asked where we were supposed to have entered and he said my husband did at Walmart. My husband doesn't shop at Walmart. He then said perhaps he used a credit card or an email address to win...???? Yeah ok...that must be it! NOT!!

My mother-in-law got a call from this number just a few minutes ago, and my sister-in-law overheard what she was saying. She asked the person, "Is this about the wire transfer today"? (She legitimately IS having funds wire transfered from an investment firm to her savings account today.) Then my sister-in-law heard her say, "You need my American Express number?"....at which point my S-I-L stops her. She was given the same account/pin number as the other posters here. They just called back a second time and my S-I-L tells them never to call again or she'll call the police.

I wonder why the FBI can't get these types of scammers closed down! Such low lifers that prey on the elderly!!!

My mother recieved a call from these exact same people with the account number 827349 and pin numer 763 they gave her this number to call 909-740-8919 and she did, she entered the account number and pin # and it told her that she had 18 million and 500 dollars in this account I tried to press 0 to speak to a customer service rep and the phone started to static, they told my mother that she had won it through a sweepstake, mother never played the sweep stakes, we knew it was a scam right away. How exactly does someone put money in a bank account just for you! 18 million dollars at that! These people are retarded for thinking someone would fall for such non-sense.
