I called this number today after receiving a phone call from them at 9:47 am on 2/14/08

This is how the phone call went.

Agent:
Good morning are you interested in talking to an agent about reducing your debt?

My reply: No

Agent: hung up

So I have no idea what thier real nature is so i am going to report it.

I don't get this site.  Everyone just confirms they got the same phone call.  Where are the solutions?  I did a reverse directory on this number and found it is a company in LA.  San Bernadino to be precise.  A company sells toll free numbers for a fee of about $30 for 1600 min.  I would suggest that everyone who got this call, call repeatedly to the toll free number and rack up some charges for this guy.  If there were 50,000 people who did this and called for about 10 min each then it would cost the scam artist almost $9400.  Maybe this will stop them.  If you call the number you can't even talk to a person from what I have found.  Help stop this harrassment.

I got call from this number a few time and strangely I hear nothing whenever I answer the phone. It's annoying and I want it to stop!

if you answer a call and u heard nothing (dead air< as M said above) or a small beeep sound,.. then the call cuts off,.. this is a automatic number dailer which dials a fixed prefix of numbers looking for LIVE numbers,.. so when u answer it knows its Live,...and stores ur number,.. then all the numbers are sold to conpanies,.. yes its illegal,.. well in the UK it is

This is so annoying.  I received a call on my CELL phone from this number.  How did they get my cell number????  If anyone received a call from this number DO NOT ANSWER!!!!!!

These are the 3 numbers who keep calling me from a recorder. They call 5 or more times a day.

Got this call 3 times in 15 minutes. Third time, they didn't hang up. Got a recorded message about my "credit card debt" from "Card Holder Services," and option to speak to someone by pressing "1" ... which I did, and told the guy they were breaking the law by repeatedly calling a number on the fed. and state "no call" lists. He hung up.

They are most certainly scammers if they won't give there correct business contact informaion.  Are they trying to sell something?

Answer the call get dead air.  Get this call several times a week.

I do not wish to extend my vehicle's warranty...I can't wait for the phone call again tomorrow and the next day...and the next day.  I love the weekends because these a**hole's can't call me and bother me.  I think I will seek legal counsel.

I receive calls from this number relentlessly.  If you call back it says the number is not in service.  I have no idea what they are calling about because the recording is in spanish.

These people are relentless, they call, and call from several numbers...Has anyone noticed that as usefull as the internet has become, it has also become a way for pita like these to continue to bother us. When they leave a recording it states to be removed from their calling list press 2, then you get a recording stating "that fuction is not available" maybe well should all write a letter to or give our Attorney General a call.

I do not have any credit cards and do not need any phone calls from credit consultants.

I received this stupid phone call a million times talking about credir cadr payments and Debt reductions. I don't know what their problems are but I want to report them. I am tired of this phone calls!!

They also call from 562-289-8142. I get this recorded call from "Cory" about every 2 weeks AT WORK. I ask to be removed every time and it never happens. I put the number on the do not call list, so in about 2 weeks, if they keep it up I'm filing formal complaints.

I have been recieving theses calls for the past two months. I never got any tele sales calls unitl i gave my information out to penski truck rentals. I think That other companies are selling our information for more profit. Is this Right? . This is BS! we got to be able to stop it!

These people called me at 10:something this morning, left a message on my voicemail. He said that his name was Phillip Drake from "Consumer Assistance Corporation". It is "imperative that I call him back at 1-800-511-8460. Interst rates are...... so it is imperative that you call me back". The .... were not audible. I guess that their dollar store headsets are failing them. So seriously, is there anything that we can do? Who the hell are these people?

I have received this animated call from Cory from the Business named "Intercounty Records" about 10 times, 7 of those I have pressed one in order to speak to a representative in order to have my phone number removed and every time the representative has hung up on me. Today I asked for their company's phone number the woman rambled off a blur of numbers and hung up on me. I do not want to receive any more of these calls, but do not know how to get through to this company in order to do so.

They hung up on my voicemail.

Got a call from this number and they claimed they can drop my credit card interest.  They gave me a number to call back and said it was imperative that I call back.  I called the number that was on my caller ID and it said I was taken off of the VIP list.  The number I tried to remember was 1800 511 8400.  I called that number and its an answering machine.  Very odd being they just called me less than 5 minutes ago.  Evidently someone has a scrambler to prevent from calling them back.  I personally think that Asset Acceptance is doing this or they have given my number to them to harrass me being that I sued them.

I got a call this morning from this number, Not being home, the call went to voice mail. It was with regard to reducing my credit interest repayments. Found it odd, considering I don't and never have utilized a credit card. This is not the first time I've received a call from this number...

I have gotten a call from this number everyday this week.  I never answer because I don't know the number.  Is there any way to stop these calls?

Got a call from the same number this morning around 10am.  Didn't recognize the number so i didn't answer.  I just got my phone and phone number so there was no way possible someone I didn't want to have my number to have it... Strange!

These guys call about once a month, they will take you off there list but it will only be for this number...apparently.
