Same explanation as above, but the caller ID I entered was supposed to be 909-842-8133...

THIS SOUNDS LIKE A CLASSIC PHISHING SCHEME IF i'VE EVER HEARD OF ONE!!! **PLEASE READ***  I decided to hang on the phone until they started asking for personal information.  GET THIS...

A pre-recorded message tells you "You're eligible for reduced interest rates on your credit card debt!" or something similar.  You have to press "1" to talk to an account manager.  I got "Lynn Johnson", a freindly female associate who wanted to do nothing except "slash" my credit card rates and "save me money".  They ask for your credit card account # number and expiration date, which I provided since any shmoe can get this info wherever you buy anything.  This is also a cc account I have on my "hot list" for identity theft & fraud detection.  They disappear off the line for a few seconds and return to tell me "Congratulations, you've qualified for big savings."  They guaranteed to save me $2500 at "no cost to me."  BUT WAIT...here's where it gets "fishy or "phishy"...they ask for your mailing address to send you a "packet of information to review."  I gave them my old employer's address (for the love of God, never give a stranger your home address).  Next, "Lynn" tells me about this $995 "fee" which is somehow applied to my card at the high interest rate, but it turns out to be part of my savings in the end when they switch the card to a lower rate.  I start questioning the fee and I could't get a good response.  She explained how they literally take hundreds of customers like me to the same bank at the same time to get leverage for lowering the rates.  But I simply agreed with her fee explanation to let her carry on.  Now they want to turn me over to a 90-sec recording which explains my "benefits" from this service.  After which, I'll be transferred over to Bank of America (who my card is through) to talk directly with a financial advisor at BOA about reducing my interest rate and completing the "verification process."  Right before she switched me to this recording, she asks me to pull out my credit card and verify all the information on the front and BACK OF THE CARD, INCLUDING THE SECURITY CODE!!!  No one should be asking for this information over the phone -- no one -- especially some thrid party company that called you out of the blue!!  That's where I hung up the phone.  And now I'm calling BOA to change my account #'s.  =)

This is a common number that calls our company and there is no one on the other end. Very harassing.

For each call you get from a Digitcom/Wildgate subscriber call their 800 number three times. The first time to ask how to lodge a complaint against a subscriber, the second time to follow up on that complaint and the third time to demand a supervisor because you feel you are getting the run around. Draw the calls out as long as you are able to so you are sure to rack up a fat bill on their end. Its highly unlikely that PacBell is giving them their inbound lines for free.

Automated call offering credit card and medical debt help.  Press 1, and a man claiming to be from AR Capitol Solutions of Long Beach starts the spiel.  They called my cellphone # which is illegal according to FCC DO NOT CALL website faq.

Digitcom Services is their telephone provider.  Give them a call and tell them to block your number. (310) 358-7000 or (800) 464-5446

I did and haven't received any more calls!

I would think that with as many complaints that could be generated, the telephone provider would drop the company or start charging them a customer service fee for tying up their Cust Svc Department.

I called the carrier at 1-800-464-5446. They placed me on their do not call list, so hopefully it will stop. If calls INCREASE because I gave them my number, next step is FCC. Good luck all.

This number has been calling about an "auto warranty" expiration on a daily basis (sometimes up to 10 times).  You can dial 1 to speak to a person, who never answers, or push 2 to ind the call -- which you cant!!!
