This number called me every 10 minutes last night starting at 8:20 and the last call was at 10:20.  Nobody was on the line when I answered and when I called back, it was a recording.

Isn't this against some sort of law?  There's got to be SOMETHING that can be done.  I tried calling the company back again today but it's just an automated service.  

Any advice?

Some guy who just called me from 650-585-4362 now just called in on 909-842-9167 to ask me a question he neglected to ask me so this person could call and discuss insurance for shipments we make with UPS, Fed Ex or USPS.... that is quite odd... calls from one area in California and then another just a few minutes later.

These jerks have been calling me probably for about a week. on 8/13/08 i received 13 phone calls! (possibly more, because my phone history will only go back so far) I answered one at about 9pm, and i told them not to call me again. I got 2 more calls after that.

And just to let you all know, it is ILLEGAL for a telemarketer to call you before 8 am, and after 9pm. You can actually sue them in small claims court for $500-$1500.

Anyways, so then 8/13 i got a call from a new number 909-842-9166. I prompty called the number and pressed one at the recording to remove my number from their Do-Not-Call List.

8/14&15 i got another call, from a new number. 702-520-9124.

8/16 - 12pmish i actually was there to answer the phone, and then there was a bad connection so the woman hung up. They then called me at about 4:40pm and i answered. I tape recored my conversation. The woman on the phone refused to tell me what the name of the company was (she kept claiming it was a mastercard corp. , bunch of BS)  

In the end, i got her name "Nicole Miller" (which i think is crap cuz she had a very thick Asian accent), and she lied about the company having a Do-Not-Call list, etc etc. She ended up hanging up on me when i was pressuring her about how she got my credit/debit card information.

They had my full name, my master card (debit card) info, my home address and possibly more. They were trying to "reward" me with $100 gift card and $500 gas card.

I wish the FCC an FTC werent closed on the weekends. Grrrrr.....

I also have been receiving calls from this number. Various times of day and night. It is getting very annoying and needs to stop. I also have my cell phone on at work for emergency purposes. Asian or hispanic accent. Very fast talker. I answered once and told them to please quit calling. Called the number back and a recording. I refuse to answer. See the number and hung up. These calls need to stop. Just today I got a call from 702-520-9125. Same type of call. They need to stop.

I too have been getting the same thing for weeks. I got woken up today from it. Today was my day off so I was MAD!

My husband talked to them when they called back and kept trying to get him to say it was ok to send me a 500$ shopping spree and 100$ gas card. They don't know but the card they're talking about is a joint-bank account card. And they were trying to say it was in reference to a "good standard" on a Visa credit card. I called my bank and they said it certainly sounds like a scam and canceled my card to give me a new one!! (I kept getting this call on my cell phone. They told me that if it happens again to call the police...i suggest you all to do the same. this is nothing to mess with.)

The lady was hispanic. she kept pressuring me to get the reward telling me its a once in a lifetime thing. my husband was fighting her sayin "no we dont need this...dont call back!"

I received a call at 2:06 AM on 8/14 from 939-644-9761.  I am guessing it is the same people who called from 909-842-9167 because I have actually been harassed by these people from a third number as well, 949-256-9182, and a fourth, 949-256-9184 in the last three days.  Who are these people?

I have also been receiving calls from this number.  What is worse is I recived a call from another number, 939-644-9761 at 2:06 AM!!! WTF?!? Who calls at 2:06 in the morning?  If possible, I will be filing some sort of complaint with the authorities.  Hopefully these fools get shutdown very soon.

I have gotten SEVERAL calls over the past few days from this number. My father tried answering but it just hung up. But then tonight when i answered a very fast talking woman answered. It sounded like she had either an asian or hispanic accent. She wanted to offer me "rewards" on my use of my credit card and proceeded to read its last 4 digits. I promptly told her (perhaps even forcefully) "Do NOT call this number again!" and the woman on the other end continued with saying "oh nooo - you EARNED this!" and i was like "DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER AGAIN"  

and i hung up.

I proceeded to get 2-3 more calls from this number, i think they stopped because of the time. I assume they will be back. Oh and for anyone else wondering about the laws regarding the regulation of telemarketers and telemarketing, here's this website:

These people are officially harassing me now. They call at least a dozen times a day after i respectfully asked them to remove me from their list about a week ago. Is there any way to sue a phone number? There should be.

They have called twice. Could barely undertand them. Don't have a clue how they got my cell phone number. Knew the last 4 digits of one of my credit cards. When I called back it says if we've reached you in error and don't want us to call back press one, when you press it it says: thank you and hangs up. They knew my daughter's name and were talking about food coupons. They sounded Hispanic. My daughter googled the area code and the call was from San Bernardino, California.

Got a call from this number and answered.  They are trying to upsell some junk and want to verify info.  I have told them about 7 times that I am not interested in whatever they are selling.  They continue to call!!  I can't understand them enough to get where they are from.
