I keep getting these calls too, and it's annyoing. The first one I got, they said they were from some crime investigating place, then the next time they said they were from the attorney general's office investigating  some crime they were saying I commited, and at first I was scared but thank god for sites like this!!! They call all the time, and they call back to back. It's always the same message, but the names and numbers change. I've gotten a few messages from "John Smith", "Tom Smith", and "George Sylvester" is the most recent. They have these think Indian accents, I can barely understand them. I've hung up on them and they just call right back. They never want to give any information who they are, who they work for, nothing. They're just rude, and they yell and tell you they're going to have you arrested. The message is:

Just like everyone else I got a phone call from this number as well.  It was some guy with a foreign accent and he claimed to be an officer.  I got calls like this before from a NY area code.  Guys, this is a scam.  Pay no attention to them.  If you feel the need, screw with them right back...might make ya feel a little better!  LOL

my sister and i received a call from these people this morning and i spoke with a Allen Conner. However when he left a message on my sisters phone he said his name was office (from what we could understand) cannedgood.  I called them back and was told that i had a few criminal actions coming up against me today and will be done at 3:30pm. When i told him i could not understand him he began to yell at me then hung up.  I called back and told him that he need to slow down. They were from a payday load. When i told him that i have not gotten a payday load via internet he called me a liar and that i was full of crap.I asked to speak to someone else in the office and he told me no.  I asked him for the back up documentation that was provided to them for presentation to a judge and he said he did not have that. Then one thing that gave it away was that he gave me a dollar amount and said that the interest would still accure until paid. How do we stop this type of collector?
