So I just signed on my e-mail and have an e-mail from "bakercbf@yahoo.com" with a topic stating "VACANT POSITION" and saying, and I quote,"Vacant position are you available jerryjesse@gmail.com". Googled "jerryjesse@gmail.com" and found this page. Not sure if it was legitimate, but by what the posters in this thread are saying, it's not. That's just not funny, either, as I'm currently unemployed. I don't have any ads on Craigslist, so they weren't trying to buy anything from me. No number left, just the sending e-mail and "jeerryjesse@gmail.com".

Wow just found out this guy is a scammer.  Don't know how this is going to work because he wants to have his daughter take guitar lessons from me.  I have an ad on Craigslist.  Unfortunately I didn't think to google the email address until after providing my name and address. Now he has my contact info.  Seemed to good to be true, so I became suspicious.  Has anyone forwarded anything to the FBI fraud reporting site?  He hasn't texted/called me yet.  

Received an email today from jerryjesse@gmail.com inquiring about our services.  It was just weird how he contacted us and what he wrote in the email.  Not our typical response from a potential client, so I came here and found out he is a scammer.  Not surprised!

I have also received a message through text from this person from a craigslist posting.   Using # 910-208-0387.  Same scenario, claims will pay via cashier check and arrange for local pick up due to his work frame.  Thank you to all that have shared your experience with this scammer, I had no intention of shipping the item in the first place, but definitely makes me feel better about saying no way!

Everyone posting to Craigslist or anywhere don't ever give your full name out or your last just tell them your first name. If they can't answer the phone and meet up with you then it's a fake scam. Any certified check is fake , they want to steal your info. Also if you get a respond item still available that's another setup for a scam . Hope you all don't get scammed and don't respond back if u know its a scam just delete and block the email

I have been contacted by this Michael Gonzales as well! Wanted to buy a car from me at full price sight unseen. First clue, then I keep getting e-mails describing how busy he was in the marines! Makes you think for a second you maybe working with a honest person. But then he sent the second email asking to send money to his mover! Duh not  a chance! I than explained to him I've been a Deputy Sheriff for 30yrs. and that the only way I would sell my car to him is if he came in person and with cash in hand. Received a text from a cell phone located in grand state of Illinois phone # 244-241-7695 saying that the check would be delivered by Fed Express and to let him know when it arrives. Good luck pal if it comes it's going to be refused! Be careful of this guy or lady pretty good scammers!
