How can they tell you what you've won without looking it up in their system? They need the parcel number. No lies

I had their company come out. I didn't buy & I got a FREE vacation certificate. They never asked me for credit/debit card info or anything once I turned them down. They were really nice though, I just trust the city water.

You couldn't find it because it's ecowater. Not echowater. It's also been out of business for over a year.

When I have my system installed it was great. You can't be so closed minded about everything. Not everyone is out to get you.

Bottle Free water is affiliated with General Electric (GE Pro Elite). Not with EcoWater, in any way. You are mad because you wanted to waste the companys time and money & they didn't let you?

The first call you were entered into a drawing for a free gift. The second call means you won a gift & most likely a free water analysis. Yes, they want to sell filtration. You are paranoyed. General Electric has many apliances and things people buy. It's a good company.

I just got a call from 910-920-2079 and it said EFMS on the caller ID. I'm not finding anything on google searches to show me that being legit either.

LIAR.....call 910-633-9531 my contact person there and the message says "you have reached Bottle Free Water and G E Pro Elite".....so they are affiliated.  It started with the survey, then the follow up call, and I went ahead to schedule the appointment because it was the only way to get the free vacation package I won for taking the survey....wasn't planning on buying the system but now I know I'm not and I will not waste another evening waiting for another sales person....my dinner was served so late because I waited on this guy and he never showed and no one has tried to even call me yet.  Not only did the sales guy not show up, what's worse than that is no one called me to confirm a cancellation and strangely I can't reach anyone today, I've been calling to give them a piece of my mind......betcha they won't want to call my number again.   Since I couldn't get an answer, I Google them and found this site...now I know I made the right decision not to do business with them.  My time is valuable and I certainly do not appreciate it being wasted like it was.

Bottle Free Water and EcoWater are not the same company.  EcoWater closed down due to shady business practices. Bottle Free is not affiliated with them at all, and are affiliated with General Electric.

Got another call this morning.  Saturday morning at 9am.  My number has been on the federal do not call registry for years.  I have asked live people harassing me from this number to take my number off their list and do not call me again.  Nothing is working.  I filed a complaint on donotcall.gov.  I hope it stops.  They have called me from multiple numbers... (910)920-2386, (910)920-2079 and (910)229-2403 all showing "Bottle Free Water" on the caller ID.

yea i agree with u. all u other people keep complaing u have to eat dont u so u have jobs. they have jobs so they can eat f u dont like it then dont call if  u want to call then do but dont complain about it

Funny, I am on the federal Do Not Call list and have been for many years - I check yearly to ensure it is still in effect....and you a-holes keep calling me!  Formal complaints have been filed with the Feds, the Atty General and the local Chamber of Commerce.

i have confirmation that an investigation is ongoing as to how customer data was obtained, because I have proven that all identifiers for my property and utilities are not in my legal name, but rather a legal pseudonym. The post card I received was in my real name.  How did they get that and my unlisted telephone which is not provided to anyone...my calls are routed from a magic jack that is a different city and state number to my unlisted cell.

Sounds like your one of the sales persons for this scam of a company!!

I just got the same card in the mail from DMC Services, so I decided to look it up. I was thinking ok, if they have a delivery for me, then why didn't they deliver it?  I didn't buy my house, just refinanced it, so again they must get our names from those public records. Thanks to everyone else for the info here!

The day you closed on your house, your name went and address went into public records and that's where the MF's look. I just got the same crap!!! in the mail and came to the computer to google it and found these results about the same scam so Im gonna just keep them until they stop and just burn them as it's getting colder out now. Lucky for me I guess they got the the owners before me as my new home came with a water softener and let me tell you the water is awesome!!!! lol

Just received back to back letters from Ms Burke at 910-805-0177 and Kate Jones 910-423-0970.  The red flags went up with the second card received.  Neither had a company name or return address.  Both letters stated that they wanted us to call the for a "gift" they could only hold for "certain period of time."

This stinks of scam.  How do they get our names?

Received the same card in the mail during our refinance.  For those of you who bought the water softening system, great.  For the rest of us, this is clearly a scam.

I got 2 cards, 1 saying to call 9104230970 for Kate Jones and 1 saing to call 9108050177 for Ms Burke. Super sketchy since there's no company name.

Yep you are all right. Got this card today, but to call 910-423-0970 and ask for Kate Jones. I used the envelope and card to light a fire in my burn pit. Worked great. Maybe they will send more to burn for this winter.

Same problem....they sent me a card in the mail and it had our address on it too as we just bought the home.  I was expecting a parcel and thought it was legit.  They caught me off guard....wanted to set up an appointment to check our water.  I told them to take my name off the list.  Bad news.

It is a scam to me.

How do you know it's a scam?  Did you spend any money? Did they ask you for anything other then to "give" you free dinner and/or a test for your water?  Explain how were you scammed???? And exactly is your defintion of the word scam?  Did they steal your identity?  Did they borrow your car? No they test water for goodness sake, lmao pretty sad that now a days getting a post card is considered a scam.

I recently purchused a home with my wife and recieved not one but two of these cards, I didn't call the first time but when I did I had a guy come over to my house and test my water, at first I just wanted the dinner card but then I was really surprised at the things they found in my water and the money I was throwing away was even more upsetting, I like the guy I talked to I will be inviting him over for dinner soon, so until u try new things don't complain about what you get in the mail, it's not like you had to pay for the stamp.

Like many others I also recently bought a house, and got the Bueno Neighbors card, no return address on the envelope, ask for Barbara, etc. I immediately thought it was a scam and discarded it, but thought to check online, glad I did.

Here is the kick, there was another delivery notice in the mail, on the same day, from DMC Services. The flyer lists the following address: 577 Deltona Blvd - #18, Deltona FL. It also has a number to call and a tracking number, clearly the same scam. Looked online and could not find anything on this company (clearly ficticious), or on the address.

Received call from 910-423-2712 yesterday.. caller id displayed ECOWATER.. the caller had my full name and wanted me to take 5 minute survey regarding my house water (how taste?, have odor?, clear appearance? have filter system?, how many in  household?)... afterwards the caller thanked me for my time and wanted to send me a gift for taking survey, I said ok, the caller did not ask for my address or try to confirm it (that's strange).. Received another call today from 910-423-0968, caller id displayed ECOWATER, did not answer. From the previous posts I've read I think this second call is their follow-up chance to "hand deliver" my gift instead of mailing it so they can verify my address, try to sell me a filtration unit or to check out my home to rob later... Thanks everybody for your posts.. it's been very informative!!

It then gave a parcel number.  I refuse to do business with anyone who doesn't give a return address, tell who they are, etc.  These signs make it look like a scam.

Its funny to c about 3+ different post with 3+ different names all on the same day trying to right the wrong doing of this "company"...sounds like jules is trying to con everyone into thinking her BOOTLEG company is even slightly legit....! everything about this PLACE is Trouble brewing...Jules is the MOST unprofessional business owner IVE EVER seen between the drama with her and her "wife"...to the way she cusses while conducting so called "business".....to the shady bueno cards...even the way she talks to her employees..the list goes ON...steer clear from this company.....like the previous post says RUNNNNNNN..!
