I get 1-2 calls a day from this number. Always hangs up after I say hello. Used to wonder if it was someone stalking me or something until I got caller ID and it keeps coming up with this number, which doesn't exist. Now at least I won't answer the call if I see a 911 area code.

I told him I had some information for him and went into a long tirade about stealing from people. I told him to go out and get a job and stop stealing. He kept trying to get a word in to argue, so I said I could do this all day. Then he called me a racist, and I said "you wish this was about race, you thief." Then he hung up. That felt pretty good.

my goal when they call (& they do call frequently) is to keep them on the line for as long as possible.
i make a game out of it. last night they called 4 times, so i made reference to something disgusting
that their mother was doing to me at that moment. i earned a 'same to you, d**khead' response.
it won't be long before they move on to someone else. at that point, it is up to the next victim to
be creative. my work is done here.

They can't catch him because he is spoofing his caller ID so his actual phone number and location is unknown. There is no 911 area code. 911 is only used for calling the police. That's why you immediately got connected to the dispatcher when you tried to return the call.

I just googled 911 to see what area it comes from. Did you know that there is no 911 area code in North America??? Interesting. If you get a call from this area code my advice is don't answer it. It has to be a scam of some sort...

Someone from this number has called me many times today. Since my caller ID says Name Unavailable I did not answer. Whoever it is is wasting a lot of time - mine and theirs.....What a nuisance!!!!!

Why can't they catch this guy? I got disconnected, so, tried to call back and, immediately, the police dispatcher answered before I could put in the whole number. I've had 4 calls from that number. The Indian doesn't give up, does he? He uses a legitimate company for his scam operation to remotely take over my pc.. Almost got me, because I have been having pc trouble.

Am being harrassed by a person who claims they are from Microsoft. He has called our number four times today. I asked that he please remove our number from his calling list. He hung up and then called back. The phone number he uses is 234-5626 as well as 12345625.

Had the same situation - rude East Indian guy claiming to be Andrew Wilson - and telling me he was Microsoft Certified support for my computer. I told him I didn't have MS support for my computer and he asked if I don't have a Windows computer. He then told me my computer was sending him viruses and that he wanted to fix it. I asked how he got my number and he gave me some BS about it being from the international routing on the box...complete load of crap, don't be fooled they are trying to scam or put something on your box.

Kind of funny. My other PC packed it in and I can't get it to open the browser. Got this call from "The Repair Zone" and they told me that my PC was not working right and that they called me because they are working with Microsoft. What a coincidence...my other PC IS buggered! A bit confused by this...I asked how they could know my PC and was down and they told me they had been monitoring PCs with Microsoft and that mine had come to their attention...amazing...eh...mine...out of all those millions of PCs. I asked if I could call back...the usual stalling resulted. BUT when I explained that I was confused because my PC was so broken I couldn't even fire it up and go online....I was suddenly left talking to myself.
