I Got The Same Thing On My Debit Card

Didn't receive a call, but had an unauthorized charge posted 05/18/09 on my debit card. This number shows up on my bank statement. When I called the number it said to contact support@eastcoastmobile.net. I tried emailing but there is no such address or website.

I think the best thing to do is cancel your debt/credit card and get a new one. I filled out fraud papers with my bank. People/banks need to be aware of this. Could be a breach in the security of their databases at the bank. Scary!!! I also went back the last three months on my bank statments,nothing. I also googled the phone number and there is another website with alot more blogs for the same thing. All the charges seem to be about the same amount and in the last two months Feb-Mar 2009.

Same thing....I have a charge for $4.56 on my credit card. I called the number and its a recording saying that noone is available to take my call and the support@eastcoastmobile doesn't exist. Anyone figure this out?

I received my credit card bill and found a charge from east coast mobile that I never charged.  I called the credit card co and was told to call the company and ask them to take the charge off.  I received a recording to use the internet but couldnt find it.  what now

My card company has filed a disputed charge and I reported the card number stolen.  I am also filing a complaint with my state attorney general's office (consumer fraud complaint).  Not sure it will do any good but maybe.   By the way their website is http://www.eastcoastmobilestyle.biz/  It lists the same phone number but I have no idea where they are located.  You will also note that if you look at their products you will see the same identical charges we are all getting billed. $6.56, 4.56 and 2.56.  (Interesting!!!)

Same thing happened to me. $4.56 was the charge to a credit card I seldom use. Charges to card were dropped, cancelled the card but the card company seemed uninterested in doing anything else as far as  investigating it ect.

Same thing happened to me $4.56 charged on my Bank America Debit card. No idea who east coast mobile style is. Not that big of charge but bank said I needed to get new card because next time it could be a much larger charge and somehow they did have my banking info. They also said there had been alot of reports of this company  using customers information falsely

Got a charge of 4.56 from EastCoast Mobile Style on 6/16-they go my Visa card# when I tried to order Martha Stewart Living on 6/10 through an email I received. Cancelled my card and reported id theft to Wachovia.

Received a credit card charge for $2.56 from Eastcoastmobilestyle 9122890124 on 6/8/09.  Placed in dispute with credit card company.  This is a scam and they're collecting major money in small amounts hoping people won't notice.

I have a charge of $4.56 on a bank card that took the account into overdraft. If I hadn't been checking I would have missed it. Called the bank and we're filing a fraudulent claim for unauthorized use of card number. I hope they get nailed before anyone else loses.

I also got charged from East Coast Mobil Styles $4.56. I will be turning this in to my bank, to see if I can get reimburse.

I also received the $4.56 charge for East Coast Mobile Style (phone 912-289-0124.) I'm on the phone with Bank of America as I type this to have it resolved and get a new card. You can't be too careful!!! Fortunately, BOA is very good about this.

I've had my BofA MasterCard charged 6.96 from these guys.  Thanks for the information.

these folks are scammers -- added $4,46 to my credit card

I also received a $4.56 charge to my card, and like the rest of you I never have dealt with EastCoastMobileStyle.  I never received a call, they just charged my accont.  I reported it to my bank and am getting reimburst.  When will these people be caught, is what I want to know.

CANCEL YOUR CREDIT CARD AND GET A NEW ONE.  THAT'S WHAT I DID.  EAST COAST MOBILE STYLE HAS OUR CREDIT CARD INFO AND CAN MAKE OTHER CHARGES LATER.  ESPECIALLY ON THE CARDS WHERE THE OWNERS DON'T TAKE ACTION.  THEY WILL MAKE A LARGER CHARGE IF THEY GOT AWAY WITH THE $4.56 CAHRGE.

Received a fraudulent charge of $6.56 on my credit card account.  Called the bank and had to close my credit card account and get a new card.  Bank said they wouldn't do anything other than refuse the charge.  Seems a travesty that nobody will prosecute these thugs that process these fraudulent charges.

Well, I've joined the ranks.  Same thing happened to me.  I found a $2.56 charge on my Visa credit card, and didn't recognize the name either.  So I called the phone number given and got a recording.  Then called my c.c. company to dispute it.  They will issue me a new card.  Best advice is to check your statements regularly!

I check my account online everyday and saw a charge for $2.56 on my Mastercard check card. The business said East Coast Mobile Style. I wasn't aware of the company and couldn't recall purchasing anything for that amount.  I went to my bank and told them about the transaction.  I had to cancel my card and get a replacement. I am disputing the charge and hopefully, eventhough it is such a small amount, will be reimbursed. I have no idea how they received my information but I guess if they want it they'll get it. People today suck!

I also received a charge on my account from this company and have never heard of them.  I have left four messages unsuccessfully and will be calling my bank tomorrow to get this resolved.
