Received two email messages, one from Publisher's Clearing House w/phone number (917) 477-8560, Mr. Martins Baker, stating I had won $1,000,000 usd... Called this number and voice mail picked up and said it was Magic Jack and to leave a message.  I did not leave message...

The other message was from PCH with same message that I had won $1,000,000 usd.. No phone number was given, but email address was Pch remittance2012@manager.in.th.    Mr Paul Anderson's name was given.  I responded to this email, but have not received anyhing//

The check looks very legitimate, but from everything that I have just read, I am suspicious that it is fraud in every way, fashion, shape or form. This was sent to me from Seattle Washington with no return address envelope. I hope this will help others to be aware as I am.

Couldn't sleep so I was googling my name and guess what I found!   "Rubbing our nose " in a scam is simply stupid on your part.  You know I know the truth.  You and your cousin Angela have fun acting like teenagers.  I have never heard of a family acting the way your family does.  Keep acting this way and I will keep copying any posts about myself and family I find.

I also got a letter yesterday with a check of $4,970.00.  I tried calling the number but no one picked up.  So this is a fraud?  If I deposit the check will it go through?

Boy there can sure make it believable, sure hope there catch these guys. It is really sad how they use the people. Thankful that there was something about this on the internet. Sure saved us from making this

I hope Bank of America does something about it. that name is on the check. How can they forge all this one just have to wonder.

I too received a letter stating I won 165.000.00 and a check was inclosed for 4,856.00 dollars and was told to deposit it into my account and I would receive the rest of my winnings afterwards but the name of the man I talked to was Micheal Cezaro and when I told him my bank said the check was not real he said he had to activate the check. So he told me to shred the check and he will send me another one in one to two weeks yeah right I'm going to better buisnee bureau this is a scam

I just won 200,000.00 from the national lottery promotion to. Ole Stanely Gomez sent me a check for 4956.20 and wanted me to send 2986.00 to him in killeen TX  s elm s  suite 100 a 76542. I told him i cashed the check which I didn't but he didn't know that , I told him that i found out this was a scam and i was gonna keep the 4956.20 he was really up set but that is how i got the address for the FTC commissions . I hope the Federal Gov. deos something about this but they havn't in 4 months.

i got this also and my bank would not take it. i went to check cash place and they took it away and called police. the guy from letter kept answering his phone, and when i said police took it, he said not to worry, they will get it to me in one lump sum, then he hung up. it is a scam, dont cash the check!

Received a check for almost $5000.00...and instructions to call 912-330-4479...Check was for administration services and insurance on the $200,000.00 sweepstakes.....Of course it's a scam...but there are some dimwits that would cash this check thinking it was real then finding out the hard way....Do Not Cash this Check it is a FAKE!...

My 13 year old son got one of those letters today from "National Lottery Promotion". The letter advised he was a finalist for $200,000. The check is for $4989 with the Customer Care Rep being a Stanley Gomez AKA ??. The notification was mailed from Seattle Washington, the check is JP Morgan Chase Bank in Columbus Ohio with the claims account being in Phoenix Arizona (RED FLAG!!!!) I am a Law Enforcement Officer and have had several of these scams reported to me. Many have given good information here regarding this type of scam. With out exception you NEVER have to pay anything to win a lottery or prize. If it seems to good to be true, it always is regarding free money.

Dont try and cash it!. Once they get your signature on the check and deposit into your account they gain access to your account and all of your information and drain you dry.

Same here. I called them, and now they are sending media out to my house in three days. after that, I ended up looking for information about them. I was so happy to even recieve the letter and what not, that I actually was making plans on spending it, now I have to tell everyone that it was a scam, and that they won't get what I promised them.

I too got a leter from Mega Bucks Promotional. The name on it though was Stanley Gomez, and Patrick Lee. I have to call them back and tell them to to even bother now. I plan on terring up the check and letter, and reporting it. Thank you everyone.

I had received a letter in the mail about this, and I called to check on it. It seemed legit, but now I think differently. The envelope had no return address on it, but the paper inside had. I never received a call from them, instead, I had to call. They claim, ";any personal or bank information is prohibited by our privacy policy"
The name on my paper says "Patrick Lee" as the Prize award administrator. They stated that the media would come by my house and a check for $200K would be FedEx to me. The name for the Prize Distribution Department is "Stanley Gomez" I hope this person is found.

I got this same letter yesterday from Mega Bucks Promotional and a check for $4,699.00 but it came from235 Satellite Blvd. Suite 125 Suwanee, GA. 30024  Customer Representive John Sanchez and Patrick Lee. Did not cash check, will fax to IRS Audit department.
