Ask for me by name. said i have $10,000 credit card debt and wanted to help me out with mydebt. I told him im on the Do Not Call List and asked him to remove my name and # from their call list. He said he cant do that. I asked him to give me his name and the company he is calling from, he told me not to waste his time and hung up. i tried to call back and got a busy signal. he had a acent from India. scam!!!!!!! how do these people get your inform.our land line is not listed and is not in my name.

Received numerous calls from this person, answered the most recent, wanted my husband, did not identify himself.  When I asked what this was regarding, said credit cards.  I told him my husband would not be interested.  Very suspicious.

Also received a call from this same number (accent was Indian (India)) and abusive mouth (called me a mother---ker when I wouldn't divulge any info and told him to back to him momma and complain.  He also said he knew we had over $10000 in credit card debt and worked in collaboration with the credit card company (couldn't/wouldn't identify which one).

Since this is a land line shoudl be fairly easy for the Feds to trace and shut them down.

Just received a call from "Andy Gibson". I don't remember Andy stating any company that he allegedly works for. He offered to assist me with my credit card debt. He stated that he knew it was over $10000. He claimed to know all about by credit situation because he had been given the information by a marketing department in Florida. He then said he called my phone at random. Andy had a strong foreign accent. He was unaware of the DO NOT CALL LIST. This wouldn't apply to him anyway because he was offering to help with my credit problems. Hung-up on him. Stupid jerk.

Just received a call from 912-964-2351 claiming to be a company called Consumer Financial and immediately started telling me our credit card debt was over $10K. I interrupted this caller (with foreign accent) that they were wrong and promptly hung up. Sounds like a scammer.

Called a few minutes ago.  Wanted to know how much and what kind of debt I had.  I'm on the Do Not Call List.  Seems they just ignore it.
