It's a debt collector.

I got a call from this number at 11:50AM today. There was no message so I knew it was not important. I always look up numbers I do not recognize, but I never call back until I look it up and see if it is an important number. Usually if there is no voice mail, it is not important.

I had received a recorded call with this, too, today. I hung up & verified that I'm on the No Call List, so need to report the number.

Missed a call from this number.  Called the number back and got the same voicemail for Wanda Jackson.  Voicemail answered with out even ringing.  Couldn't leave a voicemail as it stated that there was no more room.

Got a call from this number... No voicemail but called back and got a vm for Wanda Jackson. Number doesn't even ring. Obvious spam.

Just received a recorded call saying they had great news about lowering my interest rate then it sounded like it routed me to a live person. I hung up and called back and it goes straight to a voicemail of Rhonda Jackson. weird. spam.

Received worthless check call.

This number left voicemail, which was a recording asking me to press 1 to lower my credit card interest rate. The recording included a note that the Fed had "just lowered the interest rate to stimulate the economy", that it was important for me to respond now before my eligibility expired, and didn't give any kind of company name - sounded very scammy. (But hey, at least there was a message so I had an idea what the call was about.) Surprised it was a different call than the ones noted by others here.

Recording asking if I wanted to lower bills, this is the "final notice". Pressed one to speak with someone to ask to be removed. As soon as I got a person, they asked if I was responding to the lower interest rates. I said, "No but I would like to to remove my number from your list." Before I could get that out, the guy had already hung up on me.

Got call today at 11:55am.  The recording said it was from the Federal Reserve with this being my last day to lower my bills.  It asked to press 1 to connect to a rep.  I deleted message and hope they don't call again!

Same   call from Worthless checks...I told them I already paid N  Full and to never call me again.. Especially at my Place of work. As soon as you hang  up, The person will call again.   The Left 3 messages in a row When all they have to do is leave one.  They as well wanted me to verify my Social.   This person is rude  no regard for respect.

Claims to be "worthless checks divison" - of what... I don't know.

Received one call yesterday from "Worthless checks division" asking for me. They asked me to verify the last 4 of my SSN, I said no... you. She gave me the wrong number. Then asked me if I lived at 2 different address. I said no and asked to be removed from any list.

Received 2(!) calls today, same girl on these two, not sure about previous day. Told her I confirmed yesterday was not me - demanded my phone # be removed from account. 2nd call, repeated myself AGAIN and asked for her to confirm SSN and Address, she said "No you need to do that..." and I repeated myself AGAIN all the while she talked over me whatever was on her scamming script. I promptly got louder myself, requested again to be removed from list and hung up.

When I asked her "Worthless Checks Division of WHAT?" She said something I can't remember.
