That number (913-248-1105) calls me repeatedly everyday!! While Im at school..at work...Ive answered once before because I have a friend who travels alot and I thought it was her...It turned out not to be her because whenever I answer the my cell...they just hang up without saying a word...Its making me very angry!!!

I get calls in the mornin that wake me up. I dont know the number so i dont answer but then i get calls all day long with  no voicemails?!?!

yeah same number keeps calling its a telemarketer its best to just pick up and scream into the phone the accually start stop calling!

This company called everyday for a week, and, of course, when you pick up the phone, there is no one there. How can it be legal for a company to make the equivalent of prank phone calls tons of times a day? Because that is a form of prank phone call--CALLING AND HANGING UP ON SOMEONE! If you get mad enough after a few times, like I did--and this is what they are counting on---and call the number back, then you get a recording (which only made me seething mad) that gives you two different numbers. With one number they want you to listen to "what they have to offer." Are they kidding??

Seriously, after the harassment they are forcing people to endure, they actually think someone will be interested in "what they have to offer." I would like to push the whole bunch of the nearest cliff. I called that stupid automated number several times, and reported that I am not at all interested in their products and never will be. But they kept calling.

Then the weekend comes, and they call and wake me up both Saturday and Sunday morning. I've got three kids, and the only days of the week I get to sleep past 5 or 6 am, is on the weekend. So, you can imagine how livid I am at being woken up by these prank calling fools again!

Finally, Monday rolls around, and of course, they call again--twice!! I called the 1800 customer service number they give you, and I was prepared to tear someone a new you-know-what. However, the woman I talked to was overly polite and quiet-spoken. I feel sorry for whoever is working there; I'm pretty sure they pay for their company's retarded calling policy.

I'm going to print out all THREE pages of complaints on this site, plus complaints from others, and fax it to them. After that, I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, and anyone else who will listen. It is a sad world when companies like this resort to making harassing phone calls, ruining countless people's moods and days, and causing endless trouble.

I don't care if I have to send a complaint report everyday for the next ten years. Companies like this have to be stopped. This afternoon I have to go PAY to have my phone number changed. THANK YOU FOR PRANK CALLING AND HARASSING ME AND COSTING ME MONEY! IT SURE MAKES ME WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH YOU!!

Ugh. It's no wonder people have contempt for American business practices when to this point it has come. Companies like these are why people hang up, curse, and blow whistles in the ears of telemarketers.

these abscene phone calls are driving me nuts. the weirdest thing was that they said asked my name. and they knew it. i wonder who it was.....

This is the most annoting thing, They call after their own operation hours call about 9 to 13 times a day you answer and it is just a dial tone.

You call it back and it gives you the number and a option to not be called again I even talked to a live costumer service and they were so nice and said they would take my number off, it was 2 days ago and still recieving the phone calls

All I know from the internet is that its a publishing company and that it's in kansas city kansas, also the initial answer on that 1 800 # they were called Magazine Source.

I received call from this number, they told i got 1 million dollar, then they talked about their magazine subscription, then i told i dont want any subscription and disconnected

Just like ICE said in his comment, this company claimed to be Publisher's Clearing House claiming that they had been trying to contact me all week to let me know I may be a winner.  #1 My phone never rings; people who know me, contact me via email and #2 I never apply to contests to win money.  He knew my name and asked my age, if I was married, where I worked, and if I used Visa or Mastercard.  I don't have a credit card and just completed college so I didn't respond with the answers he was digging for and he hung up.  Be careful!!! I think I will be contacting the real Publisher's Clearing House.

I've been having the same problem.  It's a shame if nothing ever happens but us talking about it.  I think we should all get together and DO something about it!  Now, who knows who we might be able to complain to?
