HAve received calls on my cell phone 3 times from this number. No message and when I did answer no one responded
Leave Me Alone
A Fraudulent Scamming Company. Dear ole Patrick calls my number everyday. Stated that my number was given as a good contact number. Wrong number pal....you've been told over and over again! Scammers!!!! This number goes to a residence number. Sorry Pal!!!! I have NOOO dealings with you and will not...so stop calling!!!!
Those people are scammers. They pretend to be a Medical Co "Schumacher Group". They bill people for nonexistent medical service. They are hackers. They get some information - date when you got to hospital. Then they sent you bills and call you all the time. My husband has a medical care card J02 of Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami as low income patient. He doesn't have to pay for any service in the hospital. Only co-payments $40 for special treatments outside. When they call a first time I told them we have a J02 card. They ask me "What is it?" (!!!) I said, -You sent a bill for "medical service" IN a hospital. It means you work there. And you don't know what is it?!
My husband has been in emergency waiting room a few hours. He didn't get any treatment. He's got a tomogram, temperature and blood pressure test. Hospital sent him a regular report - "0" payment.
Schumacher Group sent us a bill - $1300+ for non-specified "medical service"!!!
This as pure FRAUD. They are hackers and crooks.
What they do is under a criminal law. They have to be stopped!
They are a piece of s##t collection agency with no ethics no soul and the lowest form of humanity. Don't answer. Don't talk to them.
I keep receiving calls from this company but they leave no message. I finally called them back to see who is calling my number. The person who answered asked if I was my stepson. I told him I was the stepfather and he does not live here and I have no contact with him. He said I would have to give them a better contact number or they would keep calling me. Apparently, my phone number was left as the contact number when my stepson ran up a doctor bill he will not make the money to pay in this lifetime. It doesn't seem right that they can call my home and harass me when the bill is not mine to pay. He is 35 years old and responsible for his own debts. I will try sending them a certified letter demanding the harassment stop. If that does not stop them, I will file suit. I told them to stop calling but they said this is the only number they have and I need to give them a better one if I want them to stop calling me. I don't have a number for him. It is not my responsibility to do their job for them. He hasn't had a job in several years.
Obviously you must be one of the bottom feeding collectors....trust me, NOT every person who gets these calls owes money!
I am getting calls from this number. I do not want them to continue calling. I do not know them and do not know why they keep calling. Please notify them to quit calling.
You must not practice what you preach if they are calling you too.. Why are you here? DOH!
I get a phone call from them all the time but they never leave a message
The corporate/sales office is in Colorado. Wheat Ridge in fact. TXU has come to the Work Source looking for employees to recruit people to their services.
Has it ever occurred to you that people have or that the so-called bills are bogus. I am called about bills I do not even owe. So consider the alternative.
Contact the Kansas Attorney General office. Contact the Lemberg lawfirm regarding this form of harassment. Contact the Texas Attorney General as well.
I do not appreciate the phone calls from this company and or individual. I would really like help in stopping these nonsense calls. Is there anything else I can do so that we will not be bothered by whoever is calling our phone number? I see there are a lot more people getting phone calls from this same number and they are just as upset as I am.
When you receive medical treatment, you have to sign a waiver or you will be refused medical treatment.
I just received a call from these idiots about 20 minutes ago. They tried to collect a debt that is beyond the statute of limitations. I told them that and they said that there is no such thing as a statute of limitations. I told her B.S. They also said BTW, after 5 minutes into the call, this call is being recorded. I said, I don't give a s***. Then they tried to collect on a $13,000 radiology bill when the hospital screwed up on the radiology day and added extra zeros and to date the hospital did not correct it and the insurance company denied payment, when the hospital contacted the insurance company and got approval.
I told her that I was not paying anything until everything is straightened out. I also told her that I did not have to talk to her and I am not doing business with her agency. The collector said I am trying to help you and I said, that's a lie. She repeated that there are no statute of limitations and I said BullSh!t and she said goodbye and hung up.
Unfortunately the do not call list only applies to sales calls and things of that nature, it doesnt apply to debt collectors.
Do not call my job.....I repeat do not call my job!!!
This place has called me and never leaves a message, I have called them back and they said that I owed a DR bill from 2013, but I have a letter from the DR that shows that was paid off back in Nov 2013. I have sent them a copy of the recipt from the DR office that says it was paid in full, and still they call. The Dr office says they have not placed my bill with collection and dont know why they are calling me..
Don't know who they are. I do not have any Medical debt. I've had many Medical bills over the past several years, but are all paid. They call around 9am every day and never leave a message. I do not answer calls I do not know. And I do not return calls that did not leave a mesage. I wish the calls would stop.
I have had them calling me for two months about a medical bill that I may or may not owe, the insurance company is reviewing the charges as to who needs to pay what. They call my phone and I try to answer but they hang up before I can speak with anyone. When I call the bill collector back, I tell them about the issue and they don't fix it. They also claim they sent me the notice of collections in the mail but I have not received it in 2 months. When asked about it they said their system says they did. Neither I nor my wife have signed for a collections letter. Very unprofessional company that doesn't do a good job of collecting debt. I would not hire them. They are unprofessional and lack the ability to collect in an apporiate manner.
I am tired of this unknown number trying to collect on a medical bill that was paid 3 years ago they seem very fishy and I am not paying again for a bill already paid for
They have called called me three times in the last two days. The first two times I missed the calls, the last time I answered and before they had time to speak, I said wrong number and hung up. That is going to be my new approach to all these unknown phone numbers.
Same experience as the prior postings. Call and hang up. No mention as to why they were calling; however, it appears someone may owe for a medical billing after reading the posts. In response to the paralegal, I have been doing some additional research and noted the following:
"Under HIPPA, the medical service provider likely broke the law when it told the collection agency that you had debt with them, revealing that you obtained medical treatment. That information is not permitted to go anywhere without your permission...especially to a collection agency or third party.
Therefore, if you have medical debt on your credit report being handled by a collection agency (be aware that some hospitals have their own collection department which is not a separate agency and in this case is legal) then it is likely that the information was transferred in violation of HIPPA and therefore can be removed from the credit report in some way.
The best way to handle this is to mail a certified letter directly to the original medical service provider detailing the debt and the collection agency which states that you did not give your permission for them to release any medical information to a third party or collection agency and therefore they are in violation of HIPPA. Demand that the information be removed immediately from your credit report or you will file a complaint."
I am assuming that suit could be filed against the collection company and the medical provider.
