for the last three days they have been blowing up the phone and was asked to take number off of their list ....did not work....5-7 calls a day is ridiculous...

Under Federal law if you ask for your number to be removed, they are required to do so, even if it is a "non-profit"  If they call you again, they are subject to all penalties of local and Federal No Call Acts.

They are the American Action League. I answered the phone and told them to take my number off of their calling list. Now, to see if they actually do it.

Five calls in less than 4 hours is ridiculous.

It's a "public opinion" poll. I called the number since they have called me three times in less than an hour. Unfortunately, their mailbox is full. I'll answer it next time and see if it's automated (which I'm willing to bet it is).
