I receive an automated call from the Community Service League for a Donation Pick-up.  I have called the number back several times and asked to be taken off their call list, but they continue to call me.  Very frustrating.

I have tried to get them to stop calling me many many times. They call at least 2-3 times per week. Today I called this number and someone very sarcastic told me that my number is not in their system and to call the phone company because there is no way I could be getting a  call from them..   I have given them my number many times and have never been told that, but everytime, they have said okay, we will take you off our list.  This has been going on for over a year.
She wouldn;t listen to me and kept talking over me. I was trying to explain that I use my phone all day everyday, as I sell  advertising and clients call me and I call them constantly so there is nothing wrong with my phone or the phone company.
She said that she didn't care what I did, it made no difference to her who I called or who called me, she is just telling me that there is no way they could be calling me. When I got frustrated she called me a "B" and humg up. I called back and I told her to take care of it and not to call me anymore and spitefully said, I'm going to call you back right now!  How could she call me if I'm not in their system?(The automated message says that it is "Community League Pick Up Service" and that is thier number and it is on my caller ID.!!!

What can I do....it is very diruptive and time consuming! Please get back with me.

I've called the 913 number 3 times to get removed.  Last time I told them I would complain to the KS AG office it made no difference

Actually I called them 3 times at 913-342-1122 and asked to be removed and they still haven't.  So that doesn;t work

AND CORRECTION IF YOU CALL THE 913-342-1122 NUMBER AND SIMPLY ASK TO BE REMOVED FROM THE CALLING LIST IT WILL BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY!!!

Nice CAPS.....what a crock!  I've left messages multiple times asking to be removed and I continue to get calls.  No need to emphasize your lies with capital letters.  Get a grip!

American Clothing Co. is subcontracted by Community Services League to collect these items on their behalf. You could call CSL at 816-254-4100 to verify that it is legitimate!!!

i get calls from this "pickup service" number every morning!  it is an automated recording announcement, and you cannot request to be placed on an in-house "do not call" list or anything of the sort!  how can i stop these guys from calling me in the future?!

Call them back at 913-342-1122 and leave a message after the beep to be taken off the list.

I want ALL the political calls (Democrats,Republicans, and all "other" Parties) to come to a HALT....both the "surveys" and the "pre-recorded" messages.
It's TOO LATE to influence my vote or support. I've already voted, because I'm a Polling Judge and I have to work the election on Election Day.
Nothing makes me want to NOT VOTE for a particular candidate more than a disruptive phone call
or duplicate fliers delivered by snail mail that "THEY" waste their budget printing and mailing. I must then recycle their unwanted, unrequested info.
Are we not already assaulted enough by the intrusion of political ads in our newspapers and magazines, and let's not forget the overload on television "mudslinging"??

Calls once or twice a month... "Donation Pickup Service" collecting clothing and household goods for the "Community Services League" saying they would be in my neighborhood tomorrow morning for tax deductible pickups. The Community Services League is a charity begun by Bess Truman in Indep, MO in 1916. Its website does not mention clothing pickup by this group. Donation center phone number refers back to the American Clothing Co Inc, located on Fairfax Ave, Kansas City, Kansas. They call at least once a week. I also would like to be removed from their calling list, but they leave no option to be removed. Expect a call every few days if you get on their list.

Constant calls.  Not wanted.

Says Donation Pickup Service but when you actually put things out like they say they pick and choose what they want to accept and leave the rest behind.  Can't find any local information for the company.

I keep getting pre-recorded calls about twice a month from this "donation pick-up service" that they would be in my neighborhood and could pick up "tax deductible" donatable household goods and clothing. I'm instructed to leave the donations, clearly labeled "CSL" near the curb for pick up.  The last TWO times they called, I attempted to "donate" and left the labeled bags as directed.Both times, the bags sat at my curb for THREE and  FOUR DAYS.... No one came to pick them up! I then attempted to call the number that is given in the recorded message...and SURPRISE... it was answered with ANOTHER recorded message!
 I want this "CSL Pick Up Service" to REMOVE my name and number from their call list. I am SICK of their annoying calls. I am SICK of their lies and inability to follow up their requests. And furthure more, I question their authenticity.
 By the way, I DID make my donations.....to DAV (Disabled Veterans)...their truck came by, retrieved the donations and gave me a tax receipt. KUDOS, DAV!

I get calls from 913 342 1122 ... CLS ... I call back and tell them I will leave items in drive way for pick up.  I've never had them leave anything behind, they take it all... clothes, books, working computer keyboards, etc.
I don't know who eventually gets the items, but at least I'm not throwing things in the landfill and maybe some needy person gets something.

I just called (816) 254-4100‎ and talked to Marge, who was very nice. She says she'll take my number off the list! Hooray. Wish me luck. I let her know they call me multiple times weekly, and I don't have things to donate multiple times weekly. And that I'm so annoyed at this point I doubt I will ever donate to them again. I suggested they review their policies and quit bugging people so much.

This is a legal service that is aiding the Community Services League ... they do clothing and donation pick-ups in areas outside of the CSL service area (Eastern Jackson County) and provide the agency with generous contributions. The items donated are then sold at thrift shops throughout the midwest to help other less fortunate individuals.

When I googled the Donation center phone number, it was the American Clothing Co Inc, located on Fairfax Ave, Kansas City, Kansas.  I am very confused...but I don't think I will be donating tomorrow.Reply !
