repeated calls Unknown Name neverl leaves msg

they have called my cell 16 times. Have called Sun. They do not care. Reported to the KS attorney general office

Again, we apologize to anyone for any inconvenience.  This campaign was a survey campaign to switch delivery from free driveway delivery to free mail delivery.

We ran into some technical difficulties, and we have permanently stopped the campaign today.

I just talked to Sun and while their sorry for the inconvenience, they say the campaign has been successful (you can even see messages in this stream of comm where Sun says they've stopped the effort, but they haven't).  Sounds to me like they know this has been an issue, but have continued to roll with it because it has worked.  

They are using a local call center / company to handle the program, but would not share names.  

Honestly, I would expect more of the same, unless someone takes action.  I've been getting calls for over a week and had received one 5 minutes before I called Sun.  They acted like the problems had been dealt with, but I think they know it is an issue and are not scaling back.

We've been getting these calls non-stop for days now.  I am getting sick of it and am going to call Sun directly.  I'll post more info if I get feedback.

This is not true.  You called my number at 3:00, 4:00, 5:00 and 8:00 today.  Every one was registered with donotcall.gov.

Same here.  Caller ID says Sun Publications. Have received the calls multiple times, picked up on the last one in hopes they will quit calling. Also, unlisted. They say they are going to deliver a free copy through the postal carrier.  This paper isn't available where I live, so not sure what to believe.  Something seemed off about the call and after reading the posts, even more suspicious. Maybe someone should take this one up as a cause because it seems to be a bit invasive.  Why doesn't someone call the Problem Solvers on TV...

I don't get their paper.  Olathe doesn't get the Sub Publications Paper.  Calling them tomorrow during business hours.  We too are on the DO NOT CALL List. They have called several times today.  I answered the last call and if someone was on the other end, just hung up.

Years ago, I received a call at an unlisted number and asked the person where they got the number.  The person said that for each number they have, they would add 1 and subtract 1 and call those numbers.  We were called twice today and we have an unlisted number and we are on the "Do not call" list.

I called the number and there was a message about where to email if you want to receive the Sun free of charge.  We just started getting these calls today.  We are supposed to be on the "Do not call" list.

This is the second time I am getting this call .When I call back I get voice mail box is full or something

It's Sun Publications a newspaper in the KC area.  i called them back on a private line and listened to their recording.. strange..

I got called from a phone center in the Phillipines by a guy who barely spoke english demanding I give my permission for something, it wasn't clear.
Got someone else on the line who said it was for the OP Sun to be delivered by mail. I explained that I give no personal info to unsolicited callers & certainly don't give permission to them for anything.
I called the Sun & got voice mail- left a # 3 times. Gave up & called their main no. Woman apologized & said they were ceasing driveway delivery in favor of the mail & the Post Office required permission from every recipient to do this. I asked why they didn't just send a postcard. She didn't know.
And what about all the people in the area with unlisted numbers? How are they calling them? Are they just trying to reduce their subscriber base to save money? Since I didn't say yes to the foreign phone center I probably won't be getting their paper anymore, since I haven't been able to reach them in the past 8 days. I imagine they've pissed off most of their subscribers. Suprised the other local paper hasn't jumped all over this!

Same here! They called and my little one woke up and wanted to answer the phone. SO mad.

Sun Publications is very sorry about any inconvenience that our calls may have caused. We ran into technical difficulty with our calls and we have immediately stopped the campaign in your area. Again, our sincerest apologies for any inconveniences our calls may have caused.

I have gotten 13 missed calls from them today.  I have left them messages to stop calling me. what else should i do??!! This is crazy....

I am very willing they just called me 4 times in the last half hour.

So far they have called me twice today, I tried calling this number back and it says the mailbox is full, I pressed zero for the operator and had to leave a message.  They need to do better employee pre-hire screenings!!!

This is the Sun Newspaper.  They called me 13 times today, and woke up my little one last night.  Is anyone interested in filing a law suit?? - clearly this is harrasment.

They have been calling me like every 3 hours as well.  I called the Do not call people and reported it.  You can go to www.donotcall.gov to register your phone, and if it is already registered, you can report the abuse from these Sun Publications people.

Same with me.  I am getting 3-4 a day but have never answered because it's during the work day and I do not answer personal calls.  VERY annoying and obviously not that important of a no message is made.  I emailed Sun requesting them to stop.  We will see if it works...I'm glad I'm not the only one!

It is the circulation department at Sun Publications. I looked it up on their website.

The same thing has happened to me over the past 3 weeks. When I answer, nothing but clicks and silence. When I press the last incoming number, I also get the Sun recording. This began about a week after I quit getting the Sun paper delivered in my driveway.  I am going to email the company and find out what is going on.
