Called me on Friday the thirteenth and ask me if I was in pain. When I said no they hung up.

Modern technology has given telescammers the tools to call you.
Since those telescammers are criminals, they ignore both the Do Not Call list and any request you might make.
Modern technology can also protect you, if YOU do a few simple things!
The first thing to do is buy a call blocker device, service or app.
Then, use it correctly.

If you cannot afford or use such a tool, then:
* Do not answer calls from unknown numbers ... let them go to voicemail or answering service
* Do NOT return calls from unknown numbers!  All that does is verify your phone number!  And, in some cases, those return calls may cost $20 or more to complete.
* If you have a "dumb" cell phone, assign the scammer's number to a group named "scammers" (or similar).  Then, assign a silent ringtone to that group.

I keep getting repeat phone calls throughout the day from the following number: 913-535-4170. Caller ID states the calls come from Bonner Sprin KS. No message is left on the answering machine. What recourse do I have?

I keep getting a call from this number 913-535-4170. They don't leave a message. But when I answer they ask for my husband. Once I let them know he is not at home they hang up. So I called the number back and the number is not working or it is disconnected.

These people call me EVERY day.  Its harrassment.  I was sexually harrassed by this company as well!  I want them stopped!!!

I also get this call multiple times a day with a message left saying "are you in chronic pain?"  So annoyed!!!

I keep getting this same message too! from this phine number, plus 919-647-9834, 954-271-2401 and 484-789-8100!! I can't keep track of all the times they call from all these phone numbers saying 'do u suffer from chronic pain!! well yes I do but, i don't want telemarketers calling me and bothering me!! i called one number back, told them stop called this number! they hung up on me!!! So sick of it!

I've been getting several phone calls a day from 913-535-4170 for over a week.  At one point I had 5 messages from them, something like, "Do you suffer from chronic pain...".  The last phone call, I actually answered the phone with intentions to request them to NOT call me anymore.  Instead of actually speaking to a person, or even an automated voice, I could only hear distant noises (like in an office), and my own voice echoing back.  My number is on the "do not call list", so this telemarketer was wise to not actually answer when I picked up.  I want these calls to stop!

I have been getting a call from this number 2-3 times a day at different times. This time I actually answered it and the automated system asked me if I suffered from chronic pain and to call a totally different number which was 513-229-9274. I did not call this number back however. I have no patience with telemarketers.
