I have received several calls over the last 3-4 months. In August I reported it to the police department. The Police Officer even came to my office and called the number I had on hand. They would not give her the time of day and even called her a b____. It amazes me that they even call the second cell phone that I have that I have as an emergency phone and no one calls in to that and every time they call this same person had a different name - Mike Anderson, Dan Thompson, etc.

Hello:
I just was amazed at how this man who has called my job and home several times indicating that I call another number to speak with a lawyer and that if I did not pay them the 700 I owed and interest that the police would come to my home or job tomorrow. Well I was pissed that they called and talked with my husband who became very upset. Bureau of Financial Institution headquarter in Richmond Va. They told me that this was a non valid threat and that payday loans had no jurisdiction to have me arrested. In fact, he explained that ?true payday loans? are not installment type loans. He told me that I could take out a complaint against the company but that is that thing, I don?t know who this person who had an India assent represented. I have had a loan that I stopped paying due to financial problems and high interest. I understand that I owed for this but most often like others on this page, you get put in a bind and cannot get a bank loan so you end up taking out payday loan on line. I encourage all readers to investigate before you make any payment arrangements on the phone from their threats. Get copies of documentation that you signed and once you confirm it to be valid set up some form of arrangement. If you need to talk with the State which handles these types of issues, the number and mailing address is listed. I encourage you to file a complaint as I will and reference the telephone number 913-578-5372 that is calling us.

These people are very rude! They do not like you asking questions about the call. They need to stop calling and show respect. They also called and put me on hold for 4 minutes before someone came on the line for me to ask about the call. STOP CALLING!

I have been getting calls from them also. I called the Attorney Generals office in Kansas and they informed me on how to look them up using google. I am so glad I did I then played their game but when I told them I had called the office of the Attorney general they hung up on me pay back is a b-tch ha ha. Thanks everyone for posting it helped me because for the last 2 weeks that I have been getting these calls I was scared to death. I got the same thing they also told me that I took out a paidpay loan and it was deposited into my acct. I pulled my acct up online lie and told them to go to Hell.

My son received two calls from them today and was almost crying. They double talk and say they are sending a sheriff to arrest you. When I asked how do I know this is not a scam both people replied that they haven't asked me for money and so far they had not. The one person told me he owed $808 and the other $549 including interest and fees. I asked them to fax or email something to show who this loan was from and they told me he had been notified many times by mail & email and didn't respond. They wanted me to have my lawyer call them. They said if they did not hear back within 1 hour they would send the sheriff and the amount due would be $8000.00 and 4 felony accounts for theft by deception collateral fraud and some other bull. They give you American names but have Indian accents. I had Kelly Smith and Keven Anderson call and Kelly Smith told me she was with the Alabama Law Firm of Obar & Kallar which I googled and could not find. When I told her that she said they were part of a larger firm but did not give the name. They need to be stopped! They had his social security number work number and the email address was close but ended in .com instead of .net. I plan on calling them many times from different numbers to harass them as they harassed us!

So, I just got a call from this number and given everything I've read, i feel much better. But not everyone will be smart enough to google the # which leads to sites such as this one... I was a bit concerned because they had my ssn, my dl#, email address, and a few other details not just available to the public.... And I did call them back from google, but I have a registered number with google and they had all my info ready... He even said he will have me fired and I would be unable to be hired for 7 years per Federal Law. They claimed to be a law firm out of Kansas representing a collection agency for a payday loan at American (or Americash... I couldn't understand him) Payday Loans.
This story is very much like what the call was like! ---->

As long as there is someone to teach the scam to those with the audacity to use it, it will not end!!! But, hopefully we can make people aware of it...
It's enough to get under your skin though!

cool thing about calling back from google is they can't block you like from your home phone. and to call them back is just a click away..so if enough of us call at the same time..you'll send them back to the stone age.
| Sid1892 2012-11-17 23:27:38 Unknown |
All I did was, I started calling them..from google.com/e-mail..it's a free call and if enough of us call Ba Boo at the same time they will get the message to hang up and stop harassing us in the U.S..I love it..Ba boo called me and said F*ck you...so I started calling him back non-stop and will keep doing it until Ba boo decides to go away for good..See ya ba boo!!

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.
The FTC has indicted one of its ringleaders for criminal fraud:
