Keeps calling I just got this phone number

Called me a week ago and twice today. They think I'm someone else. They don't answer back when I say hello which is very rude. I called them back and left a msg because they didn't answer.

I also wouldn't go to any website associated with this phone number; as, they will then have your IP address for your computer and the address your computer is located at ....

My son got a call from this number on a new cell phone he activated very recently.  Suspect the people using this belong to a "phishing" group out to get peoples credit card numbers to run up charges on their cards or steal their identity.  I told him not to answer the call, or make a return call; as they would know his phone number was a good number ... and, get the picture?

got ths call about 10 40 am central time on my cell phone. Didn't leave  message. i wont waste my mins to find out. if legit they would leave a  message

idiots call, never leave message.  I won't answer #'s I do not know.

I keep getting calls from these people. I don't owe anyone anything except for my vehicle, and even that is 2 months ahead for those "just-in-case" moments. I have talked to a person there and even went so far as to block them on my phone and cell phone. I reported them to the US Attorney's Office, and the BBB. But that has not stopped them from calling. The weirdest time they have called is at 4am Eastern Time. I used to do collection work myself, and know for a fact that calling at that time is 100% against the Laws!!

These people call every night between 7:00pm and 10:00pm.  Never leave a message.  I will be reporting this problem.  Phone number is 913-608-8922.  A....Hole....

Get at least one call a day from this number.  I am on the Do Not Call List, so want the calls to STOP.

I do not even live in KC, KS or MO therefore it would be impossible for me to have an outstanding debt. CBE stop calling me. This is a scam and I have reported you for calling me from the number 913.608.8922.

No message, except one time- - -speaking very quickly someone asked if I were so and so (I didn't catch the name and 'she' wouldn't repeat it).  'She' then said if I were not that person to punch 1.  Well, all that does is make them call you back- - -several times.    Next time I will tell them I'm going to report them to the Atty Gen.

I got a call this morning. They asked who I was. Then if I ever lived at a certain address and what my last 4 of SSN was. It is a scam to get your information. It's fraud.

This number called my cell.  I didn't want to use up minutes with an unknown number so I looked it up here. After reading the posts about a collection agency, I thought I should look into it. I called them back, waited through the list of options to talk to a person and enquired of her why I had been called.  She said they were looking for "John Doe", I confirmed that wasn't me and they were very nice about removing my number from their list.  Took about 30 seconds and I hope to not hear from them again.

CBE Companies is the head company for this and several other "call dogs". CBE Companies, Waterloo,IA 50704. 800-925-6686.  They are also on "Linked In", should you like to bother them on that web site.  Their web sites are cbegroup.com and cbecompanies.com.

this number is a collection agency by the name of CBE. . my ex roommates racked up a gas bill in my name, and MO gas and energy sold the debt to them. 9 am,4 pm, and 8pm every weekday is when they call. fcking b*****ds!

This number claims to be from "CBE Group" on our caller ID.  They wanted my daughter and won't say why.  They insisted that if she was over 18 they need a phone number for her.  Since they didn't even know if she's over 18, I assume it was a sales call.  Googling "CBE Group" shows that they are personal finance and/or debt collection.  I told the caller that they could send her a letter, and they said they had sent one.

Just got a call from this number, answered it, and the woman refused to tell me what she wanted if I didn't confirm my address with her?  She then ended the call.  No idea.

Just added this number to my "Ignore" klist - I have an iphone so can't block calls - but making an ignore list allows me to tell at a glance what is coming in - hope this helps - when I did answer there wasn't anyone at the other end - so I hung up - this is so frustrating - I have more important things to do then to make an ignore list!  :-)

It was CBE group in my case. They said I owed money to PG&E (which I don't). I called PG&E and they said they don't use this type of method of bill recovery.

I just filed a complaint against the CBE Group and the harassing phone calls every day, all day long with the FCC.  Go to this website  http://www.fcc.gov/ to file a complaint. You can also lodge a complaint against them with the Federal Trade Commission and the Attorney General. Here are the phone numbers the CBE group is using to call me. 913-608-8922 and 319-432-7597 - I've blocked them with my phone carrier yesterday on the one number, and today they started calling me again from another number. I don't have any outstanding bills and owe no one. There is no reason for this company to be calling me. They call, then put me on hold, or tell me to press a certain number if I am calling from New York (which Im not), then music plays in the background. I refuse to wait while someone harasses me so I hang up. Nothing ever gets accomplished. Very Frustrating to say the least!
