I got it too. I called back and they asked me for my 9 digit social security number. They are crazy. Sounds like a scam.

Anyone knows who calls from this phone number.

They call me like 10 times a day, they started when my payment was only 2 days late. It's only been 7 days and I have over 50 calls logged from 3 different numbers.

# calls me several x a day. Last call was after 8:30 p.m and it starts at 8:A.M!

Horrifyingly RUDE Call center - Claims to be from World Financial Bank (Lane Bryant). I do not have a credit card with them, and I am not the person they ask for - but they won't remove my number from the account.  They are abrupt, and use hardcore bullying tactics.  Most times they just launch into account information when I pick up the phone, and overtalk me.  NOT MY ACCOUNT.  ugh.

This is happening to me everyday now for a month......

The thing that I find harassing is that they called me 9 times today from 3 different numbers.  All of which when I called them back gave me the same call center:

Its World Financial Bank - they carry credit cards like the one from Lane Bryant.

The called ID lists that it's from Kansas City, KS.  Unfamiliar number so I don't answer it.  They call about 8:10AM every morning so I have blocked their calls.  Hopefully that will stop them.

I keep getting calls from this one too.  They are calling my cell # and calling as early as 8:50 a.m.  I just saved it in my phone as "Don't Answer".

They called me and asked me for my credit card information. When I refused to give it to them they said that I had not paid my credit card bill and that they were trying to "work it out with me". They then tried to get me to confirm my social security number, and when I asked them to give it to me first, the man hung up on me. SCAM!!!! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm getting the same exact phone calls on my cell.  I don't answer because it's an unfamiliar number....but they call 4 or 5 times a day!!!  How can I make it stop without changing my cell #....???  I guess I could always answer and blow a whistle in their ear.  LOL  Think they would stop then?!  LOL

I have gotten ridiculous amounts of phone calls from 3 different numbers just like you and I never answer and they never leave a message, it's so annoying! Hopefully it is LB and once they receive payment they'll stop calling!

Ridiculous.  I am on their reaging program and they continually call me and dont leave a message.  My payments are current according to the program I am on.  Why hassle someone who is making their payments on time?

Yes, you are right, it is a predictive dialer.  Your phone number is in the system and gets cycled around, this is why you get called so often, but why it comes from different area codes I don't know.  Usually, a group of accounts is worked in one location and another group in another.  Maybe it is to throw people off.  They might think, OH, that is a different number, let me get that.  And I agree with the others, they are nasty until you prove you have either made the payment or the payment is already set up.  Then the attitude changes dramatically.  If they are calling you at work, all you have to do is say, please do not call me at work again, and they MUST take you work number off the call list.

I can tell you that if you answer the phone, don't say anything at all, not even hello, wait 30 seconds and then hang up, they can not call you again that day.  I was in the same situation.  I set up my payments online and I had a payment already set up for that month and it was before the due date, but for some reason, they kept calling and calling and like others have said, it can be 10 times a day!  On occasion I will see WFNNB and I know it is Fashion Bug.  I know my payment is set up because I log into my account and check.  Why they don't bother to look and see that a payment is pending I will never understand.  I have answered on occasion and told them a payment was pending and then I hear, "oh, yeah, I see that now, ok, thanks...click"  What the heck!

they call several times a day and by not leaving a msg it doesn't constitue a contact for collection puposes. that is why they can call several times a day. another number is 303-928-1779.  I believe that it should constitue harrassment. if they call they should be required to leave a msg. this is also, i believe, an auto call system.

Same here, I even got an apology from Lane Bryant already, and they just called me. Bryant never sent me a statement to pay. Payment already cleared. Going in AM to cancel card

Google the company, get their address, demand a verification of the debt, and then write them a 'cease and desist' letter (there are several good examples on line) and send it to them certified, return receipt requested.  If the harassing phone calls continue, get a hold of a lawyer that specializes in debt collectors wrongly attempting to collect a debt and sue the pants off of them!
