Exactly the same thing happened to me. I looked them up online, I won't be wasting my time with these guys.

I came in for an interview last week and I thought that everything the Interviewing Manager was legitimate.  Unfortunately, I cannot work first shift and that was all that they were offering at the time.

Everyone has their own opinions so here is mine.  I thought that she was very professional and making everything make sense when it comes to the different positions that they are offering there at their company.  Sales is not for me but I know that they are not a scam.  She was very genuine about answering all of my questions and concerns and not trying to dodge them at all.

I used to work there and that I can vouch that this company is not a pyramid scheme.  If so, how is it possible for them to work with credible Fortune 500 companies right?  Unfortunately I had to relocate so that is why I am not currently still working there.  Everyone will have their own opinions but it is up to them to even go in to the interview for themselves.

I came in for an interview and I thought that it went very well.  She clearly explained everything about the position to me that she is looking for Sales and Marketing Associates for her company which it does makes sense considering that it is a Sales and Marketing Company

I also received a call from this company.  After I googled the name Strategic Campaigns the first listing was pyramid scheme...I think its b***s***.  It's 100% door to door commission based (not sure if this is consumer or business sales (don't care)), you must use your vehicle, and no compensation for travel.  If you like wasting your time, schedule an interview immediately.

I was skeptical at first but the woman that had interviewed me explained it quite well.  I came in with an open mind but left knowing exactly what they do as an Organization.  They are very professional.

I was called today from this company, but number was different. The number was (816) 912-2893. I missed the call and they left no voicemail. I called them back and when they answered I told them that someone from this number just tried to call me. The lady asked me,"What is your phone number". Wouldn't they know who they just tried to call? (I called them back literally a couple of minutes after they called me.) Normally, I get asked my name when I call someone back. They said that they were interested in me after i posted my resume on careerbuilders. They want me to come in tomorrow morning at 10:30. I could not understand the woman on the phone very well and had to ask what the name of the company was. She said it so fast that all I could write down was the first name of the company. I was also told to ask for Charlie. I looked up the company and found Charlie's last name to be Koons. I'm glad I looked this up. Not wasting time off from work to look for something better and only finding smoke and mirrors.

They sent me and email saying they received my email on career builder.com. They said in the email I left out my phone number on my information and that they tried to contact me but it was a wrong number and for them to call me.( I knew this wasn't true because my phone number is on my resume and on the body of my Cover letter).  I called back anyway and had to leave a message.  About 5 minutes later a woman called me back and said they were interested in interviewing me.  She didn't say for what position and I thought that odd since I have only been looking for Receptionist positions online.  When I looked up their company on career builder I knew I wouldn't have applied to them.  I'm NOT going to that interview.  Its a waste of my time and gas to get there.

I have also put my resume up on career builder but I was sent an email instead of call. Went to the first interview. Supposed to go for the second tomorrow. Saying I'm going to a shadow business deal. Really sketchy about everything. Finding mostly just scam information online. It all sounds too good to be true. Not feeling comfortable with going tomorrow.  Any advice?

I have received calls also long time ago about my resume. And now I got one today too. It is strategic  campaigns inc. In mission ks. It's a face to face sales and marketing company. They have a website and are on linked in but that's not something I want to do. They also sent me an email after I didn't answer talking about the job but no voicemail.

I received a call from this number as well at 3:15 pm so it was at a reasonable time but they did not leave a message and I am not planning on calling them back. Much like everyone else on this thread, I find it very sketchy

I just signed up for Careerbuilder with a public resume. As soon as I did I got a call from this number too. They called a couple of times and didn't leave a message. A real employer looking for a employee would ALWAYS leave a message. This is HIGHLY suspicious!

This number called me at a reasonable hour -- 1pm, but I was in class and couldn't answer.  What makes me suspicious is that they didn't leave a message.  If an employer is actually interested in hiring you, they will leave a voicemail.

I just got a call from this number too, and I couldn't remember the name of the company either.  The lady on the phone told me to come in for an interview tomorrow at 10, but I said I was working till 2, so she said I could come in at 4.  I googled the address and none of the business there looked completely legitimate.  It didn't quite make sense to me that I would be getting a call from one of these places, since I highly doubt I would be qualified for any of those jobs, and my work experience is totally unrelated.
Ever since I signed up for Career Builder a couple of nights ago I've been getting phony looking emails (at rather odd hours - 2 AM, 5 AM) with people beating down the door to hire me.  Doesn't make sense.

My question to Concerned is, did you go in for the interview?  I'm beginning to wonder if I should.

They called me about a job they are hiring for because I posted my resume on Career Builder. They didn't ask me if I was interested but instead told me to come in tomorrow morning for an interview since that's when the guy who's hiring is wrapping things up. I told them I had to work tomorrow and that my next off day was Thursday. (I wanted to buy time so I can look into the company) and when I asked the lady the name of the company, she said it so fast that I only got the word marketing out of it and I have reverse look up on my phone. That's when I googled the number and found them.. They claim they are hiring immediately but I went to google and this company was on a scam list. Be careful if you get a call from them.
