I've been receiving these calls as well and yes, I do have a Sam's Discover card but funny thing...it's not even due yet! I can't believe they're calling to collect from me before it's even due. What a waste of money to pay people to make those calls.

This number has called me up to 6 times a day, it is a auto dialer that puts up on hold for an agent. Blocked the number with Norton 360 for cell phones. took 6 weeks to have a human with a thick accent to contact me. Told then never to call me from any number again and gave them my lawyer's phone number.

I was having trouble with them also but bought a blocker off Amazon. One ring only and this and any other call I don't want is hung up on.

I haven't a Sam's card so screw 'em.

I receive calls on my cell, but let it ring. I do not know this number, do not answer numbers I do not know. If it was legal or of importance, they would leave a message. can any one do something about this?

I get several calls a day from sam club discover card  it drives me crazy   I don't have a sam club card

Update. I called the number, fought my way through the automated phone tree without giving up my SSN which they asked for, finally got a surly "service" rep. Once I explained that I never shop at Sam's Club and never had a Sam's Club Discover card they asked me if I new someone who I've never heard of then said they would remove my number from the account. We'll see if it sticks. I looked the person up and they live in a city that I lived in 5 years ago, same area code, maybe that's the confusion. Not sure how that happened.

I have received over a dozen calls from 9137892757 in the last three days on my cell phone. They left no message. As a rule I usually don't answer numbers I don't recognize. But after the first couple I thought maybe it was important. So I answered. A looped recording instructed me to stay on the line for an important message. After about four loops they hung up. Not sure what the deal is. Pretty irritated. apparently this number is for Sam's Club or something. Never shopped there, almost never shop at Wal Mart. Haven't set foot in one in over a year. I'm not surprised that a company affiliated with Wal Mart would annoy me.

This is from GE Capital retail bank. They have ADMITTED to me they are calling off-shore. I have told them I do not accept calls from any off-shore number for any reason. Sam's Club; JCP; and many other local accounts sell their accounts to a foreign company GECRB. I have written Sam's Club AND JCP, nothing stops these calls.

For the unwanted calls mail a letter to Sam's (and/or others if you need) telling them that you will only accept mail communications from them.  I know it costs money but it is best to send it with a receipt of some kind.  This should save some of the calls and if they do call go ahead and answer and tell them..."according to my letter of the (insert date) you have been limited to mail communications only" and then politely said good by and hang up.  This was recommended to my daughter when she ws facing bankruptcy.

I get calls from this number, but when I answer it simply hangs up.  It is very annoying.

They keep calling here looking for a person who does not live here. This has been our number for 15 years and we have never heard of the person they are looking for. Despite being told this, they keep calling back. I'm about ready to call and file a formal complaint.

Todays headlines read, 'Jobless rate hits 9.7 pct.' I am one of them. Now how in the hell am suppose to pay my bills when there are no jobs to be had? And, no money coming in? But, the vredit card companies continue to call and call and call. I don't answer the phone. I tell them, 'I have nothing.' I am along with millions of other people that are just trying to survive till tomorrow. SO, Sam's -- read the headlines. I didn't make this country go into default. So, don't make me feel gulity as though I did.

call from 1-913-789-2757 , very polite but has called 10 times in 2 days asking for another person I tell them ,I don't know the person ,they still call.they also don't tell me who they are.
