Use trap call and block them, gives peace of mind...

I do not have JCPenney account, never have...and still get calls from this number numerous times a day...people who think they know all the answers are not any help at all on forums like this where honest people are looking for help.

I would like this caller to stop calling my number!

I have been getting calls from this number for a week .. have no clue who it is

I've been getting calls on my cell from this # for a couple weeks now.I don't have nor have ever had  a JCPenney card or a Paypal account.I rarely even ever shop there.I get several calls a day & it's getting irritating now,They are now  using 2 different numbers to call me from.

I keep getting calls from this number I am behind on a payment but they are calling me at 8:45PM. I thought they couldnt call past 8!!!!

It is JC Penney, but my concern is that I never gave them my cell # and they keep calling on my cell #.  Never leave a message, just call multiple times per day.  Is it REALLY JC Penney? Be VERY careful about giving out ANY personal information.

Yes, this is ANOTHER number that JC Penney credit uses to get their money!! They know we don't answer one number so they use another one, thinking we will answer! Every time they call from another number, I program it in my phone. Even if you make a payment, they still call you! This is bordering harassment!

yes I keep getting the calls also.  They never leave a message, but I chose not to answer the phone either.  I don't answer any call I don't recognize the number to.  Recently I kept getting a call from same area code but different number (913-233-2741). Before when I got the call from those numbers I googled it and it only brought up answers of it being from middle east somewhere(can't read their langauge) or from Kansas City,KS but doesn't say who they are.  Well tonight I got the call from this number (913-789-2951) so I googled and looking on this site so some of you saying its JCPenny's and Kenzie saying its Paypal then there's the answer, its the creditor for them which is GE Money Bank.

I received a call from this number too... and it's not about my JCPenney account.  They claim its about my Paypal account.  I told them I'd check my payment online and if need (my payments aren't late) be I'd make a payment.  He told me I couldn't make a payment online.  Seriously?? I think something is up here!!!

They keep calling and calling and calling.  Get the same message - sounds like an East Indian voice - mostly male, periodically a female voice.  Always have to wait - shows up as Unknown Number, Unknown Caller on ID - the few times I have answered they identify theirself as "Encore" - asked what was that and was told by a female caller "a financial institution" I replied Not Interested and hung up.

This number continues to call me.  I have answered it several times.  Nothing! If it is JC Penny's, OK, but at least answer. I too am behind a payment.  I am recovering from a terrible traffic accident.  It is Sunday morning 8:50 am and I have already had two calls from them.

It must be JCPenney because I have their credit card and I am behind on a payment so this must be another "number" they are using. They call me from an "800" number and now this number. It's really annoying and I have called and explained the situation to them time and time again and they continue to call me. So yes, this is a number for the JCPenney credit card services collections. Believe me, I wish I could block their number!!!! But if they ask for your social Security Number, you did the right thing by NOT giving it out. I never give out that kind of personal information. They should have it on file already if you have an account with them and they should NOT be asking for it.

I keep getting calls on my cell phone from this number, when I call back and explain that I have never had, or will never have a JC Penney account, I am asked for my Scoial Secutiry number.  I have requested that this be stopped.  Do I have to file a harrassment complaint to get this to stop.

This number appears on my caller ID several times a day.  They do not leave a message to identify themselves.  I am not calling them back but would like the calls to stop if it is telemarketers.

There people are REALLY starting to tick me off!  Caller ID shows them as "GE MONEY", they have been calling for a month, several times per day and to top it off, they're calling for somebody who doesn't even exist at the number they're calling. I've asked and asked and asked for them to stop calling, they apologize, and the next day, they call back.  To top it off, they frequently call at 8am, I thought they were supposed to at least wait until 9am.  I'm very frustrated with this---how do i make them stop?

well I've got everyone beat! I get about 7 calls a day from various jc penney #'s & I've never had any credit card in my life! The previous owner of my cell # owes them money & they keep calling me trying to reach this stranger, I finally wrote & cease & desist to JC penney although I doubt it'll work

the number 913.789.2951 belongs to jcpenney credit card services. it is their collection services.

I have reported this company twice. I work nights and just get to sleep, since I am on call I have to keep my telephone; therefore, I want these calls stopped. I do not know the person who is being asked for and I want these calls stopped.

I have called the number back and just held the telephone until someone answered. I spoke with a man and told him this, he promised these calls would stop.

ive been getting calls from 678-518-2062. GE Money about jcpenny. i have a account im on time with. but not with jc penny. never had a card from them,, never will, its 8pm here, just got a call from them. even sundays. im sick  of it too! and when i do answer. i get a please hold!! waited 5 mins. BS if its important they better have someone right there.

I too keep getting a call from this number, started yesterday,  and so far twice today, but same time in the morning as I did yesterday. No message is ever left, I do not pick up the phone. I do have a JC penny card, but am not behind at all, honestly I don't even think I have used it, but no bill has been sent to me, so if it is collections, wtf!! Also I looked up this number on whitepages.com and it had said it was a landline number located in kansas city, wyandotte county. I was sort of hesitant about this number because my former place of employment was at a mental hospital in the kansas city area, and every number in that facility all started with 789, and than would have different extentions for different locations throughout the building, however the part 2951 was very unfamiliar with me, I had assumed it was a patient phone and some patient somehow had got my number and called me. But than I found this website and realized several people had been called by this number the same way I have, so if this is JC penny, why do they call, not leave a message, and why call when I do not owe them money, and if it is collections, than why are we not receiving something in the mail.. this is a scam and I think fox 4 problem solvers need to hear of this and handle it or look into it!!!
