got a call from this number 865-6696 some foreigner who could barely speak english said he worked for the united states government and i was selected random to recieve $7000 in grant money and that i didn't have to pay it back. SCAM SCAM SCAM hope they catch up to these morons before i do

The calls that you are getting are not from Wells Fargo, or any other outfit like it. You are being contacted by the NSA and they are updating a spyware trojan application that has been previously installed on all iPhones. Which is the reason that only Sprint iPhone 4S are being contacted.

I too have been getting harrassed by this unknown caller. I actually answered the number today and it was a broken English speaking man. I asked if he was calling for Nathan and Steven which are frequent names I have received calls for since I changed my number a year ago. He rudely replied he was actually trying to speak with Cindy Mcentire, who ever that is. Has anyone else been asked about this? He said the call could recorded or monitored so I asked for him to please stop calling me. It's starting to affect my work and it interrupts my day nonstop. I feel as though it could never end. Surprising like other posts I didn't start getting the calls until I switched my carrier to sprint. Go figure! Oh and I live in Oklahoma.

Looks like a common theme with have a sprint number and the annoying caller getting our numbers off Craigslist. I just posted a car for sale on craigslist and am getting calls from this number repeatedly. very annoying. they hang up when i answer so I don't get what they are trying to accomplish.

I got a txt that just kept putting spaces and got really annoying so I tried to call even tho it was unknown and when I called it the caller ID was 865 6696 So I tried face timing the number and they kept on ending it

I have been getting calls from this number about a week and it's the same person. I tell them to stop calling me. But this last time he got real nasty with me and started asking where is my huspend and ever got even more nasty. Help How to stop this person from calling.

I have iPhone and a sprint plan. I keep getting the 865-6696 call about four five times a day and I am no not call list too. It just hangs up as soon as I answer. I think this is tapping into yr system or phone as my phone goes haywire when I answer. This scares me terribly. I called back and got a message that this phone is not taking calls at this time and repeated it in two diff languages. I too have never done Craig's list and am self employed an never go on Internet to buy things. Weird

I just got a call from 'unknown' area code was not displayed .. the voice mail was from my school district ... for the 913 it would be from the Olathe schools all call line .. they use it to call all numbers in their system for alerts, etc

They identified themselves as Home Secure Solution today when I answered. I blocked the number. I am on the Do Not Call list.

I have been getting this number as well. Which does convert to "unknown" on the dial pad. Today I paid my Sprint bill and clicked on the "set caller ID" option. It allows you to set it up as Private, Unknown, and even has a Custom option. I'm thinking anyone that has set the caller ID to unknown, this is what you'll get. Maybe?

A man who claimed to be name Sia called me from 865-6696. The number showed up without an area code, and yes, I do have Sprint. He said we wanted to buy a car I was selling on Craig's List, and set up an appointment to see it. When I try to call back the number with or without different area codes, it says the number is disconnected/not in service.

If he shows up at all, I'll be careful, and I am bringing a group of people with me just in case. If I find out anything else, I will post it here for others to see.

With IPhone download the ringtone "silent" and add the number to contacts, select "silent" ringtone and turn off vibrate.  Name for the number "DNA"   do not answer.

It is basically the way and "unknown" number shows on your iPhone.  It is the letters "unkown" from a keypad.  That is why we are all getting different answers.  It is someone that has their number blocked.

I got a really creepy voicemail from this number today. It was an automated female voice saying "Hello world... Goodbye." What the heck?!?!

I haven't gotten a call from this number but I got a text from UNKNOWN saying "message not found" so I replied "who is this?" And got an additional error message from a different number saying 865-6696 and that I need an area code and all that. I don't have sprint. I have AT&T and an iPhone. This is crazy

All of these numbers have called me numerous times over the past two weeks, each asking for Stacy Williams, (not me) each time it was the same voice for all of these numbers. What is worse, the 865# used my name the last time he called (last night). Very frustrating.

So these two guys called my mother from 8656696 and they said that they were on behalf of "credit card services" and wanted my moms personal information so they could lower the interest rate on her credit card. These guys are SCAM ARTISTS TRYING TO STEAL YOU PERSONAL INFORMATION. Please aware and contact the authorities when this happens, you're probably a victim of identity theft.

When u call someone and it goes to voicemail but they call u right back... This is ur voicemail calling u back. No crazy stalker, no network error. It is a sprint issue but it is definitely user error.

I've had spring for a few years but just switched from the Evo to the IPhone, I rarely ever recieved unknown calls on my Evo (maybe once every 2-4 months) but now I'm receiving this call everyday from 865-6696 since I got my IPhone on Saturday, so its been 5 days in a row. It's very annoying so I'm gonna try to download an app to see if I can block it.
