I received a call from this number and it was a recorded message asking me to press 1 to refi my home loan ... totally ridiculous.

I have a "woman" from russia that is wanting me to send money, I will not.  But I told her to call me, and 913-982-0016 is the number that comes up, when she has tried to call, but never can get though

The person called me thrice from this phone#. When I picked he asked me for Vicky and he said this was her business phone #. He spoke regarding some education. Told him not interested and do not waste my time.

Local call for me too (Olathe, KS).  Called my mobile on 3/6/8 at 3:00PM, no message.

This number has called me three times to my personal cell phone and when I pick up they hang up and when I call back it says that the person I am trying to reach is outside of the calling zone or whatever. They have called three times within like a five minute span.  Welcome to annoying. Population one.

I landed on this page resulting from a Google search on this number, (913) 982-0016. As a user of the web-based Skype service, I made a test call to my cell phone and this is the number displayed. The last time I made a test call to myself, probably a year or so earlier, it was an International, i.e. 011+ number that displayed. A lookup of the 913-982 office code reveals the switch is on 11th Street in downtown Kansas City although the carrier is Verizon Communications, having acquired the former WorldCom, which was the holding company for Brooks Fiber Communications, which is listed as the operating company for the 913-982 exchange.

Thus callers from this number will likely be calling from outside the U.S. since they are using Skype's web-based service for a fraction of what they would otherwise pay to their local telephone carriers for international calls. You will also notice significant variations in the quality of the connection, which is subject to the overall amount of IP traffic between them and the PSTN gateway in Kansas City. So, in short, the only identity for this number is a Skype gateway based in Kansas City. The actual caller can be anywhere in the world with an Internet connection and a Skype account.

This caller keeps calling back while I was covering the reception desk at work.  It was a lady speaking Spanish who then passed the phone to a man who also spoke Spanish.  I know very little Spanish and when I said "No Hablo Espanol" they hung up!

I have received 10 calls from this number (913)982-0016 on my cell phone. The message starts with "Let us help you reduce your debt, if you are debt free press 2 to be removed" I have pressed 2 on every single call and it continues to call me at least twice a day.

Tonight, I continued to listen and after the press 2 comes "press 1 to speak with a representative about lowering your bills". So I pressed one. Someone with an unidentified accent answered. I started to explain that I only allowed the automated system to put me through to let them know the number of times I have requested to be removed, and how I continue to get the calls. In the middle of my first sentence the woman hung up on me.

Attempting to call the number back from my cell phone I just get "Call ended" prior to the call connecting. I tried from my work phone and it just rang and rang. Not sure what the point of their constant phone calls are but, I will definitely be doing some more research and finding a way to put a stop to it.

got several calls from this number too and the person did not answer, when l called the number back,l got the message that the person had travelled outside the calling area, right after l got a call from the same number, l did not answer and let it go to voice mail and l got stupid mixed voices very odd noises.

I recieved this call today and it also is a local call for me but if I do not know the number I will not answer....they also did not leave a message and on my caller ID it only showed the number....if it is a scam I will highly mad..

i got same # today and picked up and person disconnected when i said hello

received first call on cell phone on 11/21/08 at like 11:30am  didnt recog so didnt answer. called again at 1pm  still didnt answer...tried to call number back to see who it was and phone said "call failed please try again" tried once more and said same... googled # got me here. oh yea called me again last night at 6:40pm. dont know who these people are since they seem to tell people different things....A SCAM FOR SURE!!!!!! my advise is to report number to the federal trade commission (ftc.gov)and your state attorney general. they are the ones that track phone fraud, scams, ect. you may even check with your phone provider to see if they can help. good luck

Someone from this number called my house again and this time I actually got to speak with a live person! The rep stated, in a Middle Eastern accent, that he is with, "Regional Shopping Service". He started to explain how I'm the winner of a vacation stay at a tropical resort (even though I have not signed up for any drawings or contests) when I stopped him and asked him to remove my number from their call list. He said he would not and then hung up.

Sounds like a SCAM to me, BEWARE!!

This number has contacted my house several times over the last couple of days, but when I answer there's no one on the line and then it hangs up? When I call it back I just get a busy signal. Call ID says "INTL" but this is a local area code for me?

I received a call from this number and they said they were with UPS and wanted me to answer a few questions about my shipping habits.  I said we use UPS and that's all I know; it just went silent after that so I hung up.

I received a call from 913 982-0016 "intl. number"  I answered the phone to a recording offering to reduce my current interest rates.  As I have no debt, I knew this call was trying to get around the "no call list" rules.  I waited and spoke to a real person - he refused to tell me the company he represented.

I got a call too. The auto message said "last chance to continue your warranty". ??  I called back and got a busy signal.

They keep calling (a recording) and saying this is a call to lower your interest rates on your credit card but they certainly don't mention who they are with.

this number keeps calling and calling to the work place and when picking up this person has a weird accent, asking for a certain person and they will call back after a few seconds if they did not get through to the person. also sometimes there will be noisy backgrounds. so annoying.

I tried calling the number back and I get a message that says "sorry this number is invalid".

Left no message.  Did not pick up.
