got a call from this on my cell phone - called back and the number is disconnected

This number keeps calling my home phone and there is no one on the other end. Ee are going to try to block it. They call at inconvenient times and it is annoying and rude.

I got a call yesterday from this number - Dr. DiMartino Nardi - left message but when you try to call back it says disconnected.  Hopefully that clears up if others get calls who it might be from?

That # 914-239-4120 is Mount Kisco (Northern westchester hospital).. When you try to call back it will say disconnected, as the phoneline doesnt accept incoming calls.. You have to call the main phone# to get through to the hospital.

This number called me at 2:00 am.  When I called back a recording said the number was disconnected.

Thats because Hospitals are under the HIPPA Law so the numbers you see in a Caller ID are "fake" numbers.  Some Schools in NYC also have that system.  Is to avoid scam phone calls and unsolicited phone calls.

they call me everyday and it happens that they call when i am at work...when i try to call them back it says that the number is disconnected!!!1 they are sooo annoying!!!

They left a message - she asked for me by name and said she was "a nurse from the Northern Westchester Hospital" (that's in Mt. Kisco, NY) and she wanted me to call back at a different number. I had been at the hospital for an outpatient procedure a couple days earlier. The number she gave was in a range that is used by the hospital but the whole thing looked like a phone-based phishing scheme to me. I called the number she gave, expecting to be asked for SS and credit card numbers. I got a recording asking for my name the date of my procedure, and whether I was feeling OK. I guess it was legit after all.

Shows up as "Out of Area" on my caller id.
