Our dog had run away. We had local pet rescues and HomeAlone on the search. All info was on FB because it's the fastest way to communicate. Some Indian scammer calls saying they are from National Pet Search. I stopped him right there and said we did not need their services and have it handled. That was a month ago. They called again yesterday. That guy got an earful as I already told them they were not needed and do not call again.

 Guy with Indian accent, traces back to india, using a machine makes it look from NY  says he(in Punjab ? I think) says he is from Windows engineering..    sounded like call center. I hung up    we'll see what they do next

I don't answer numbers I don't know so I didn't answer.I figure if it's important they'll leave a voicemail which they didn't.i live in England and do not know anyone who lives in America.my phone said it was from new York.i have no debts.just wish these numbers would stop calling

Caller from this number spoke with very thick foreign accent and said he was calling about Windows OS on my computer. I let him speak about minute or two, then hung up. This isn't the first time I received a call like this, it's always the same accent but sometimes has been a female but they always say it pertains to my OS on my computer and viruses. I can also hear other voices in the background like a call center.

I received 3 phone calls, one minute apart, all from the States(I am Canadian), can not call back says not in service except for the 630 number-see below- which is registered to a Ronald Jackson. The other 2 numbers where 630-933-9463 and  618-462-3632.  Reporting to phone company's and on here and 1800notes.  Also from the other night which was threatening that they knew my plate number and where I was exactly, that number was 1-607-724-9716.  914-271-9628

Yeah i got the same call for a few minutes ago, and i live in Sweden. Watch out!!

I just got one of these calls today. I played along until he wanted me to enter in a website in the run box to initiate some kind of malware ( I am guessing). Then I told him that I had a family emergency & I would just disconnect my computer from the internet. He told me he would just block my computer from the internet from his end. I told him to just email me the instructions, and since he knew who I was, he would know what my email address is. He argued with me claiming that this was some sort of emergency, and that I had to deal with this right now. I asked him for his last name and I told him I would call Microsoft Support & talk to him when my family emergency was over. I asked him again what his last name is and he just said "Tom" I will be blocking your computer (as if he could) & hung up on me.

The number was 914-271-9628 (New York) but Microsoft is on the west coast....

these blank callers are a bunch of a** holes....

These calls have been coming in on both my landline and 11 year old texting only cellphone. I have not been answering these calls and after reading this I sure am happy that I haven't. I live on Vancouver Island in British Columbia. I guess they have a pretty broad calling spectrum. I am on the National Do Not Call list so how the heck do they obtain these phone numbers?!

Received three calls, was not at home and have no idea where they got my number as i live in europe, but do not know the number at all.

Everyone is mad as hell about all these calls. I'm registered on the "no call list". What a joke. Is there anyone in Washington that has a brain? They just collect a fat pay check with full benefits. They serve one term a get a pension with benefits. They don't have to abide by the laws they pass. They are guarded by armed personnel but would like you to give up your arms. One day, people will rise up. The have trashed our Constitution. We are living during a sad time in America. Those who do not agree must be living in a cave. I'm retired and my pension is slipping away. The way we are going, no one will have anything. Those trying to right this are degraded and chastised. It is sad.

I got a call claiming to be a technician from Microsoft. They said they were getting errors from my computer. They wanted me to get on my computer so they could fix the problem. They claimed my computer was infected. They said they were call from Canada but my ID phone said they were calling from New York. They called at 8:54 AM on 10-8-13. Telemarketers should be banned. Most are low life's that have no morals.

received two calls from this number in two consecutive days. I'm one of those people who like to talk, but I'm not as dumb as they think I am. I talked to him for about 20 minutes as to why he needed me to turn on my computer and he got mad because I told him I wasn't going to turn it on, so he told me to F***off and hung up on me.

Again today, same thing but this time he just hung up.

I never pick up my phone anymore when I don't recognize the number. I don't even have any debt, so I don't know who these jokers are anymore.

Anyway, got a call from this number today. I, of course, never answered. Got a 4 minute long voicemail of the busy signal sound.

Showed up as a New York call. Heavily accented man claimed to be with Microsoft Technical Services. At that point I hung up. Please don't be fooled by these calls. Microsoft will NEVER call random people to discuss computer issues. My home phone number is not even associated with my internet, which is picked up wirelessly from our internet provider's tower via a receiver on our roof. These people want to remotely install viruses on your computer that will give them access at any time. BE SMART!

Just got a call from this number and it says it is out of New York.  Very heavy foreign accent, had my previous last name and started the Windows Opertating system-errors.  Stated no thanks and hung up.

Good idea, we are getting so many of these calls and just had one yesterday...

This azz clown is back in business.  This number and 718 288 9084 called on 25 May 2013 to scam some folks in Georgetown TX.

I was called by this number earlier today and decided to answer.
There was an Indian guy on the other end claiming to be from a "Microsoft company" and that
"There was malicious software." on my comp.
I decided to play the game for a while.
he then instructed me to press my "windows key +R."then to  type in a command. "Eve * something*"
It was suppose to be able to show me the software's on my laptop.
I stalled him and said my comp randomly restarted due to an update and started to ask: "How did you find these software's on my comp.?"  "How did you get this number?" "Why did';t you just send an e-mail or letter?" he replied saying "Microsoft has access to all of their customers computers as long as their on warranty which is how we got your number."

1. My warranty expired a year ago.
2. The laptop wasn't originally mine so my information isn't even available.
3. I just bought my cell phone 3 months ago.

After getting bored I said "You know I'm not falling for this b*ll sh*t right?"
He laughed and hung up.

We also received a call from this phone number - at 10:45 p.m., and the woman on the phone was histerical - claiming that there were viruses attacking our computer.  Indeed, very suspicious, particularly when the caller was unable to validate any of this information.  I would say that it's a scam and should be looked into.

Received a call today 10:38 saying they were from Microsoft and needed to fix a error on my PC?REALLY!!! I am IT! Please do not give these people any info they have to be a scammer

I got a call from the same number and I told him that I do not have a computer!  He said "Yah Right" ...what an idiot!  So irritating !

Got a call from this and he said he was calling about an email I put on line about college courses. This is the third call from this same guy who can barely speak English from different phones one said payphone. The time before this I told him if he called again I would blow a whistle in his ear. So not having time to get a whistle as soon as I recognized his voice I let loose with a piercing scream for almost a minute. When I checked he had hung up. I told my son to buy me a whistle tomorrow and no matter who calls with an unknown number, a number I don't recognize I am going to blow that whistle.

Apparently they are expanding their field of operations: received a call from this number in the Netherlands...
Impatient too, they hung up before I answered the phone.

This number called my home office phone and they did not speak in the voicemail

I have received telephone calls from this number.   I do not know the company calling and for what reason.  I wish not to receive any more calls.
