call from this # keeps coming.... no msg  ... no ID.

Just recived this call, saying they are the march of dimes.

I have been getting calls from this number for over 6 weeks, no message left on my machine. I called back right off and got a voice mail telling me they were the March of Dimes and to input my number to have them stop calling, the calls have gone from 1 each day to over 6!  I now have 2 different numbers from the same organization.  How can we stop this agaravating business?

Several times a day for the past several weeks, we receive calls from this number. Never a message is left.

Now they call even more and if I answer they do not speak just hold on and then hang up. I called the number and it says it is the march of dimes. This is harrasment and I want it stopped

Every year I contribute to the MOD but will never make another contribution again to them.  The annoying phone calls at 8AM and later during the day and evening is only part of my reason.  My other reason is the constant mailings requesting a donation, most recently they have in addition to the mailing labels have included a $.10

If this is how the MOD is using my donation to harass those that donate then they will no longer have my donation to fund this annoying practice.  Doesn't the MOD understand that you don't bite the hand of those that feed you!

Never leaves a message.  Call off and on.  I called the number back and they say they are the march of dimes if you do not a call press 1 and we will put you on the do not call list (who believes that).  It could take 30 days (really).  I never answer calls I do not recognize the number.

I just recd a call from this #, & picked up on it. It iS a Mrach of Dimes solicitation center for the neighborhood volunteers this winter. I had volunteered a couple of years, but I didn't feel I could do it justice this year, since I only had $10 last year. The woman tried to get me to reconsider, due to the need for folks to do it. She pleaded with me to continue my efforts. I kept saying NO!!  Finally, I said "DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN ",  & HUNG UP! I hated to be rude to her, but she has called MANY times over the last month, & I got tired of it.

I want these calls STOPPED!  They call all hours!

Caller ID says it is from West Harrison, NY.  I don't answer calls if I don't know the caller.

The phone number belongs to the March Of Dimes.  If you call the number, their automated message will tell you to "press 1" to remove your number from their list.

They are so annoying, calling repeatedly. It does seem like harrassment! I am rarely home so haven't had the chance to try to answer and speak to someone, although from previous comments it seems like a mute point. I am on the Do Not Call register and have added my number to their Do Not Call list 4 times (If you call the number back , you can press 1 for this option) If they are truly from the March of Dimes, it makes one NOT want to donate because I am so upset with them!

Most people hang up after the preliminary message ends because the grammar indicates the message is over.  DON'T HANG UP... wait for the second message.

It is pretty sneaky because they are conforming to the rule that we need to be given an opportunity to stop the calls.  They just hid it very cleverly.
