These people call all the time.  I never answer the phone.  Unfortunately, they are bothering sick people in nursing homes and assisted living homes.  How sad that something cannot be done about these type of calls.  The Do Not Call list doesn't stop them either.  I've tried blocking them several times and they still get through.

Sometimes calls 2-3 times a day so far using all 914 area codes. We're into the second month of this with obviously no end in sight.

Absolutely is harassment. No way to make it stop. No options to make it stop.

Daily call from this number, no message left! Caller ID shows private number!

I keep getting these calls...I have NO idea who it is because I do not know anyone from Yonkers. I am on the DNC list, but this is ineffective. If the government is monitoring our calls, then they know who is calling from these numbers. They should be able to put a stop to it. I had one unwanted caller eliminated by forwarding calls from their number to one of the FCC office numbers. Never heard from them again.

Another call from MOD! I receive several calls a day, at different times, and with different telephone numbers. No one e er leaves a message. This is just plain and simple bull---!

I am receiving numerous calls from this number, at least 5 in 2 days, which I screen using my caller ID. I only wish I could block the calls like I can emails on my computer! I think I will just start picking up and laying the receiver down until they break the connection. Maybe that will send them the message I do not want their calls.

This is  fromm March of Dimes. They are looking for people to send out fundraising letters to neighbors. Fundraisers are exempt from Do Not Call lists since they are suppose to be non profit.  Caller ID will show Healthy Babies or MOD in the name field.

These people have been calling for the past week, from 9am on.  Today I answered- March of Dimes' caller asked for me by name.  Caller said we're not asking you for money, we just want you to pass  an envelope on (my street).  I said "We don't do that, please don't call again."  We'll see.

It is the March of Dimes.  They have been trying to annoy me for quite some time.  The operative word there is "trying".  I added the area code 914 to my call blocker immediately after their first attempt over a year ago.

They use several different numbers from the 914 area code.

Do yourselves a favor folks and get a call blocker.  Sell a kidney and/or first-born if you must. :-)   I used money that I might have otherwise contributed to annoying political parties and charities.  After the constant calls, I decided to put the money to better use.  The resulting absence of annoying calls is worth it.

This number calls 2x a day, morning and evening. It's on my blocked list, but the type phone I have rings once anyway. You would think they would give it a rest being blocked, but it persists. I didn't know M O D was for March of Dimes till I looked at other reviews here. I get Healthy Baby crap calls too.  Never answer them, and they never quit.

Thank you for this suggestion.  I just called the 914-997-4488 number and was also told my number would be removed in 24 - 48 hours.

After receiving 6 calls in the last 4 days I decided to call this number.  I got a recording that said "thank you for calling the March of Dimes - we're sorry we missed your call".  But there was no way to leave a message.  I would have given them an earful.  So they call, they never leave a message and if you try to answer there's no one there.  So I have to keep putting up with these annoying unsolicited calls and there's no way to stop them?  This is ridiculous!

And again my morning starts with a call from MOD.  I never answer but I tried to this morning because I'm so sick of these calls and there was no one there.  What are they expecting from these calls if there's no one there?  This has got to stop!!!!  I hate starting my day in a bad mood!  Make these calls stop!  I don't know what else to do.

The MOD have been calling me for days, and today was the last straw!  They woke me up at 8:50 am,  it's my day off from work,  I didn't go to sleep until after 2am and I am furious! Just wait till they call again...I know creditors can't harass you but what about "charitable organizations"?

I just received  the usual call from tis number, no message was left!

THEY HAVE BEEN CALLING 4 DAYS. I HAVE TURNED IT INTO MY ATTY GENERAL. THEY BETTER NOT CALL ME AGAIN. MY PHONE # IS ON THE NO CALL LIST.......
WHEN I ANSWERED THE PHONE I COULDNT GET ANYONE 2 ANSWER AND THEN THEY CAME ON CALLING ME BY MY DIVORCED LAST NAME.....I DONT THINK SO. I TOLD THEM IF THEY CALL ME AGAIN, THEY R N TROUBLE................

Guys, this forum was not invented so we could insult each other. I thank the people who delivered helpful information about the numbers, and we can just cool down a bit and continue discussing the topic rationally. No further insults are required or even very helpful.

I also get so many unwanted calls every day.  MOD shows on my caller ID.  It stands for march of dimes.  I am so sick and tired of not only receiving unwanted calls from people who want donations and I seem to get several letters every day also.  I donate to charities I want to donate to and throw the rest in the garbage.  The CEO's of a lot of these charities make a lot of money, much more than I do.  I donate to the ones who's CEO'S make a modest salary.  Being on the "do not call list" is a joke and does not work.  I am thankful for my caller ID.  It keeps me from answering these calls.

OK...MOD = March of Dimes.  Get their calls almost daily as well as Healthy Babies. Annoying but Caller ID is a nice function, even though we have to pay for it (I think it should be free, but we could only access it with a phone that has Caller ID function).
