as a responsible consumer i assume you read the terms and conditions and maybe you forgot that the creditor has every right to sell your bill because you were a pathetic non paying customer and wanted nothing to do with you.  p.s did you know if you paid it to begin with you wouldnt get calls.....or better yet if you get a better job you will not have to borrow to begin with.

refusing to identify yourself will never help, how will anyone know it is a wrong # if you refuse to say who you are, they have your # for a reason, if you identify yourself and say wrong # and they keep calling guess who wins, YOU DO because you have the right to sue them and you will win. be polite at all times so if they do not comply you dont have to play a recording to a judge with you on there playing games and not comfirming if the # is right or wrong.

If you pay your bill they will not call, If it is a wrong # then buy a tape recorder and have them say the company, IF THEY DONT ITS FEDERAL VIOLATION, tell them it is a wrong # and politely say not to call, then if they call, do not answer (As long as you know it is them) get an attorney, play the recording and take your phone records, 1,000 fine for each call, calling back and playing games, not saying who you are so they dont know its a wrong # doesnt help,...people who dont pay bills hide behind the phone, not identifing yourself just puts up red flags that whoever gave them your # was right and your scared it is a bill collector.

I love browsing though these sites come up with every excuse or self justification as to why they will not pay there bills. "I don't owe RPM" (well unfortunately in this world when you don't your bill they go to places called COLLECTIONS) "I'll pay my bill but RPM is not getting my money"(That's just a smart a** response for saying I don't have a job, no money, or cant afford it) "They call to much" (well if someone owed you money how much patience will you have waiting for it back.....  LET ME GIVE EVERY ONE A BIG TIP AND IF YOU NEED TO PUT A TATTOO ON YOUR FORHEAD SO YOU DONT FORGET. GET A JOB, PAY YOUR BILLS AND YOU WILL NOT HAVE ANY OF THESE PROBLEMS,......funny how simple the solution actually is,......or just think of reasons to make yourself feel better about the fact that you cant get a good enough job to pay your little credit card that has tripled in cost cause your credit was so bad and you cant get a real credit card.....WONDER WHY.   good luck to you all,...or the best one yet, dont take responsibility and just blame the economy, thats pretty common for individuals that cant be creative enough to find a way to make some money.

Looks like these clowns have switched from 312-878-9507 to this number. Someone needs to do something about these RPM terrorists. We need to put the Patriot act to good use on these RPM terrorists to see if they have ties with Al-Qaeda or others. Given the tatics they use who knows if they ever funnel money to the likes of Al-Qaeda. Last time I checked waterboarding is still legal and we need to root these clowns out!

Called my cell phone at 9:45 pm. Connection was very poor; disconnected after I heard two very far way sounding "hello"s.

They call me every night at exactly 8:44pm. Tonight, I picked up the phone and they asked for someone. I told them I don't know who they're talking about, and the caller told me his name and that we was in Washington (which is a lie, it's a New York number). At any rate, I told him to stop calling, and his reply was "pay your damn bill and we won't have to call you". I hung up then called his extension back repeatedly from a blocked number- I managed 10 calls in 3 minutes. Hopefully they'll get the drift

This is the number for RPM - a collection agency.  They aren't nice, they are verbally abusive and they are relentless with the calls.  I am averaging 15 a day, which is excessive.  Wil make payments (I do owe a debt) directly to the creditor - NOT to RPM.

i thought it was illegal for telemarketers to call on sunday or past a specfic time at night. like 8 or 9????

I have been receiving calls from debt-collectors when I am NOT in default (or even late) on payments to any creditor.  
    A fellow who identified himself as "Jason Edwards" just called my home, was very pushy & accusative; and he refused to tell me from what organization he was calling.  I refused to confirm my name when he called -- because I have no idea who is actually calling, their organization, or their ethical standards.  This person's behavior suggests a scam of some sort (not a reputable company seeking payment for a legitimate debt); and I am concerned about what sort of mischief they might undertake to soil my personal credit history.
    This "man" is NOT calling for me, though he may be calling for someone whose name I share.
    Google states that there are approximately 918,000 listing for individuals with my last name and three common spellings of my first name.  It is probably one of these poor souls that this so-called collector wants.
    May the God of all Righteousness and Justice cause His judgement to fall upon these abusive people who bring false accusations against the innocent.
