Usually ignore the SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT when I see it on caller ID.  I answered it today, they asked for my  husband, I said he wasn't available and then asked who was calling.  She said Holly and hung up.  I called the number back and it never rang, no message, nothing.  Just dead air.

If u have Comcast Digital Voice u can block that number!!!!!

Have received at least 4 calls from this #.  There must be something the caller gains when the calls are answered.  Nothing else makes sense!

I too have received at least 2 calls a day from this number.  I've answered twice, only to hear an open line.  Didn't want to call # back because I was afraid of being charged or some trick from the other end.

Been getting a "safety announcement" call a couple of times daily for the last few weeks. If I answer, I get a hang-up. I tried a reverse look-up and found out the number is in New York, NY. I didn't want so spend the $10 to find out who owns the number though. Interesting thing is, I tried calling back a couple of days ago and got a voice mail message. I wasn't able to leave a message but the calls have stopped...interesting coincidence.

I spoke to a man on one occasion who said he was with a peace officers' organization.  All other calls have been hangups.

Calls once or twice daily - no msg,  Not sure what the safety announcement is?

Called almost everyday.  Have never left a message.  Caller id show: Safety Announce.

Called on a Saturday morning 9am. I did not answer and there was no message left.
