I got a call from an 'unknown' number and the INDIAN guy said he was a certified tech from Microsoft and they are receiving errors from my computer and 40% of my applications have already stopped working. He then asked me to turn on my computer. I hung up. He called right back from 914-417-9316 and stated he was a certified technician from Microsoft and please don't hang up. I asked to speak with a supervisor and he said "why do you want to speak with my supervisor? what is the problem?" I said I do not know you, let me speak with a supervisor... He just repeated the stuff he had already said so I hung up again and he did not call back.

These guys are nice they are providing free estimates for the home improvement and i got such nice deal from them.American home improvement is lowest in market for a home improvement stuff.Thank you AHI

These guys called today saying they were computer experts and that I needed to pull up the internet and that my computer was "disabled" and that they were trying to send something I couldn't receive.  They wouldn't clearly respond when asked who they were.  Be careful - they are obviously trying to steal personal information!!

I got a call form   American Home Improvement   told them I do not do  business with anyone unless I ck them with BBB and they are licensed in my state... as for the local number and he gave me this 914-417-9316... get so sick of these telemarketers and esp. if they have heavy accents and not living in USA....

I am on dnc list too and that does not help in the least...

this guy calls and calls calls my husband has asked 4 time to be taken of list he don't listen ..his very rude and still trys to talk after you have told him to stop calling..

Some named Sama from American Home Improvement called me.  Very heavy Chinese accent.  About 1/2 hour before, a man of Chinese descent called from same company.  Their address is:  480 Industrial Drive, #108, Naperville, IL  60513.  Hmmm. . . must be that Chicago politics thing.  Corruption & crime!

I would urge anyone who gets a call from them contact the Do Not Call number, and also the Federal Trade Commission. They asked many intrusive questions, such as if I own my home, etc.  They are scammers!

I just received a call from 914-417-9942 - didn't answer. Other calls lately: Manhattan 1-646-630-0031,  Montreal Cruise 1-514-392-9122, 1-313-938-5288, 1-202-407-3261, 1-514-392-9121, 1-202-427-2637, 1-202-740-2584.- accidentally just dialed the last number just now - no one there - msg unavailable - sure didn't mean to call it, just had it on my screen. All numbers except the first one I noted are on the internet with people frustrated at the calls - I have never answered any - all various scams, I'm sure. 914-417-9942 isn't on - must be a new scam. I don't know why these numbers can't be blocked.

I live in Alberta. I downloaded something from Project Free TV and ended up with the Web Search virus and Yellow Moxie search engine that is not detected by AVG, even. I wonder if that is why accessing information - or more likely a contest entered as you did - something. Another scam is that I have something on Kijijii and people call and try to arrange shipping and to pay with PayPal, but I read about those scams - never fall for those either - PayPal payments can be rescinded.

Called me five times. Did not answer first two times it came up unknown. Today called again as unknown, I answered could not understand him, asked what company he was from, he hung up. He called again two more times still could not understand him, told him f*** you. Then hung up on him.

Same number called me tonight. Guy had a accent and was hard to understand. He asked if i needed a payday loan. The proceeded to ask me for all my personal info. I am not stupid and gave him wrong info just to see wat would happen. He then asked me for my banking info (part of the app process he claimed) ha right! I told him to f*** off and hung up on him. He now has tryed to call my phone 6 times in 1hr ha i have the number blacklisted so i dont care. Just watch out for these scammers they R SCAMMERS!

I've recieved 4 calls now from this person with a very heavy indian accent.  He says his name is Justin and wants to talk to me about home improvement possibilities.  The first time i let the phone sit at my desk next to my speaker for over 5 minutes before picking up the phone and he was still on the line and hung up.  
I found out they may be getting paid for the time they are on a call.
The second time he called I actually talked to him and he had my name but the wrong address. I told him he had the wrong person and hung up.
I made a connection to the calls to a free gift survey at an event where I provided a very badly written fake address so they wouldn't contact me.  
The third time he called I informed him i was not a home owner and to please take me off his list. His reply was "You are lying".  I got a little angry at this point and told him I would be calling the BBB if he calls again. He gave me some line about not being a salesman and that I couldn't call him in.
I just received my 4th call from him. I didn't waste time and instead told him right away I don't own a home and this was the last time I was going to ask him to take me off of his call list.  He tried to say something about not being a salesman and that I took a survey.  I asked again and told him to please not call anymore or he would be facing a lawsuit.
Who do we call or where do we go to file a complaint and get action against these telemarketers?

"Charlie" with a heavy Indian accent, from "Home Improvement Network" called close to 9:00 pm and asked for my husband by name. I asked how he got our number (we are on Do Not Call) and our name and he said a family member recommended that he call. Supposedly they did a survey on home improvements  in our area... and "could I help him out" by getting a couple of estimates like for roofing. I said we'd have to call him back and asked for his number because it came up on Caller ID as "Private". Rude and persistent, which I had no patience for at  the end of a long day.

heavy Indian accent. Very rude. Asked if I was the diabetic in the house.  I said no diabetic here and he then said were there any diabetics in my family... I asked to be removed from his call list   (this was his 2nd call today, the first guy hung up on me when i said I could not understand him) and rudely said it was not a sales call.  I hung up.   what can we do to stop this?  I am listed on every do not call list I can think of, I guess it doesn't apply to foreign country  callers?

This guy called and said I was approved for a home improvement.  When I said, no thanks and hung up, he called me back and asked why I hung up.  I told him to leave me alone and he called back again.

I got a call this morning. My Caller ID shows unknown name & unknown number. After I asked his name and what company is that and phone number the guy tells me his name is Sam Johns and it's Home Improvement Network & the phone number: 914-417-9316. He says he has all the information (my name & address) and I was approved for home improvement and asks what I want to improve. I got a few calls from this guy before within couple of weeks. How do I know? You can tell by his accent he's from India.  I told him before and today that I don't look for home improvement and he continues to insist that I'd choose the improvement.Every time he calls I ask him to remove my name from their calling list.
It's annoying. Why don't the companies obey the rule to stop calling when a person asks them?
