I was scam too never heard of this until now .I lost 900.00 but the same thing that happened to Mr suspicion happened to me.the number was 914 -512--5166.His name was David justice/ Andy Smith the number was no good when I tried to reach him.

I like the others received a call from a Tom Cooper legal department (heavy accent) saying a complaint had been filed against my name and social security number. That I should call back or have my legal representative call. I have received the same types of calls periodically (from different numbers), and I know this is a scam.

Funny I got that call months ago and said I need to turn myself in cause there is a warrant out for me and go to my county sheriff.  The following day I got pulled over for speeding and was thinking oh crap if there's a warrant I'm going to jail!  But I only got my ticket and went on my way! Ahoy that call again today and when I confronted them on that lie they hung up!  Lol idiots

A David Justice called me and said I was going to get arrested as well at work, and I had to clear up the matter now or the state police would arrest me.  779-377-7750 they change #'s every 6 months and keep calling back.  I am tired of the crap!

This number left several voicemails. Caller was from Jamaica, mon. He was smokin' a big spleef and tryin' to scam money. Said he was a U.S. officer and I needed to call him back. What a load of crap.

I really wonder if people fall for the BS?

this number called me 18 times the other day. A guy with a heavy middle eastern accent. He claimed he was from the legal department and that his name was David. he claimed I owed money and if I didnt set up payment arrangements. I would go to prison. my advice is dont answer when this number calls u.

He's just a fraud! Ignore or block his calls. His type of scum-bag are becoming all too well known here. He's probably an Indian, but it doesn't really matter. He's beneath contempt and is not nearly the person you are. Treat him as such. He's nothing.

I just received the same call. I could not understand him at all. He said the city of Greencastle is investigating me for what I have no idea. Only that I was going to jail. I hung up on him and he continued to call me 3 more times. Who is this? I know I did nothing wrong but it still scares a person.

I just got the same message on my answering machine.  He has a strong (Jamaican ?) accent.  I got one last year around tax time too.  I'm not going to worry about it.  I'm sure it's a SCAM again.

I received a call from the (914) 512-5166 number. The caller left a voice message on my cell phone. He stated that he was an officer and that he had a serious legal matter to talk to me about and that if I did not return his call immediately I would be subject to garnishment of my bank accounts, and that police would come to my place of employment to get me. I called him back on a different line and asked him some pointed questions that he could only answer if he was truly an "Officer". I lied to him and told him that he was talking to the U.S. Secret Service, and that I knew he was calling from outside of the U.S. even though he was displaying a New York directory number. I told him he was using a VOIP service and it has been traced to his IP address location and a real Officer would be seeing him within the hour. He started to stutter and told me he must have made a mistake and hung up abruptly. I then ran his directory number and came into this site.

Same story as above.  This guy goes after late middle-aged women and think just because he makes threats I am going to follow his instructions?  Maybe that is how police in his country operate, but police here will knock on your door with appropriate documentation in hand.  This is how the USA gets thanked for bringing this pond scum into our country as refugees.
Officer Don Cooper threatened me with sending his officers to my place of employment for legal actions if I do not return his call.  I was advised to contact my state police as this guy is breaking the law by impersonating law enforcement.

These people have been calling me non stop even on Thanksgiving, waiting on the local police now.  SCAM!

Beware this number keeps calling me and leaving a message stating that he is an officer of the united states federal investigation office saying that I need to call back otherwise I will have a policeman at my door to arrest me for what?  I am not sure.  Its that time of the year for scam artists trying to get money.

This guy left a very rude message telling me, or legal counsel contact me I tried to call back but the voicemail was full(first red flag).  Called back and was told I owed money to a company I hadn't heard of.  When I asked him for my account information he acted as if he didn't understand what I was asking.  I asked to speak to a supervisor but was told none were available.  I asked to speak to ANYONE else and he said he's the only one available.  The annoyingly heavy mid eastern accent, lack of account information, unprofessionalism was frustrating enough but when he asked me to get a green dot card and put $250 cash on it then provide the 14-digit number I knew something wasn't right.  What the heck is a green dot card!  So I agreed to call them back a few hours later with the information.  I googled the phone number and found this site!  Thank you all for posting your comments!  Helped greatly!  I've contacted state police who confirmed that this is a scam.

Bogus call but very threatening and high stress.  Glad this website exists.  I am blocking this number.  Thanks to everyone for posting on this website.

I have been plagued by calls from "Andy Smith"   914 512 5166  for the last 4 or 5 weeks. He calls and asked for me, tells my husband if I don't call back he will get me for fraud for a bill I owe, I finally got a hold of his voice mail left a message he called back and wanted to know what I wanted??  told him I didn't know, he called me first. He said his boss would call me back.
Pretty much had me a wreck because my husband is disabled and he was worried I hadn't paid something or because we a always so short of money that I might have gotten a loan he didn't know about. Which I did not do. Andy said you can pay 150-200 dollars and I will get my boss to stop the police.This guy had me in tears UNTIL I said I don't have 200 in my pocket to spend on a moments notice, do you? When he said  " I am owner of this company I have lots of money". EXCUSE ME ? I have been in customer service for years and no one talks to any customer that way!!!!  I told him to go to h@@@ and hung up and decided to do a search and found this site. I am calling the local paper,Centurylink and the news. I would like to strangle this guy, probably not even in the united states.....

Got a call this morning from "Officer Andy Smith" with a very heavy middle eastern accent. He sounded like he was reading from a piece of paper. said he had my SS. number and I need to call him back on a very serious bussiness matter. if I didn't call him back he would be calling my manager at work and I would be aressted .he would put a frezze on my bank account and I wouldn't be able to get work anywhere.
We recived calls like this in April my wife called the local PD was told it was a SCAM and to NOT SEND ANY MONEY. to tell him your phone has a tap on it and the real police are listening then any 3 numbers and hang up. I have tryed this and they stopped for awhile but they are calling again. Hope the Real Cops catch these guys real soon. It's not only annoying it's upsetting.

these a**holes called me in march and I fell for it now they are calling again I told them to go to hell Serious a guy with a heavy accent with the name of david justice i  heard another guy saying that he was sending someone to jail well let me tell you it has been 15 mins and the cops have not shown up yet. I have cancer and do not need to deal with this.

I received 4 calls in one day this guy with very heavy middle eastern accent said his name was something couldn't understand the call but that he was a federal agent and I was under investigation and headed to jail that a block was going on my SS3 and he had already froze my account in the town where I lived.  Well I know that's a lie I don't bank in the town where I live How do we keep these people from calling us I am on the DO NOT CALL list but I get crap like this all the time I am going to change my numbers all 4 of them. It is annoying and they are harassing calls

Yeah today I had the same kind of call regarding what you've all had at the same where a person claimed that they where from the United States Federal Investigation and that they where calling regarding some bs loan. And that if I didn't reply with in a 24hr time frame they would have me fired, arrested, lose my job and that with in a hour I would have a call from the local 911 regarding the issue.
So yeah I also put them on the spot on questions as well and they keep repeating themselves over and over but then hanging up an calling me back. lol

Received a message from Officer Andy Smith (extremely heavy Middle Eastern accent) from the legal department of: United States Federal Investigation, um, OK.   Officer Smith claims there is legal action against my SSN.  If I, or my attorney, do not call back, I face the following:  Being arrested at work, a block on my SSN and block on my bank account.    And I will find myself behind bars. And I quote: "You better call me back. so help you GOD".  This is truly annoying getting harassing phone calls for a debt collector.

This guy has now called seven times and I have three different names.  Andy Cooper was my favorite.  No one with that heavy of an accent would be named Andy Cooper.  LOL!  The part that bothers me is he has so much information; bank account, SSN, address, etc.  Now he's calling me at work.  So he obviously has my work number as well. Guess it's time to get the police involved.

My husband received a call from this number from  David Justice betraying himself as a officer of investigations. He threatend to come to his place of employment and have him arrested if he didn't settle this matter by going and purchasing a green dot money pack reloadable card. Me working in collections knew right a way that this is a SCAM I contacted David as I was questioning him he just kept hanging up on me. I then contacted my police department and they advise do not give them any information they are a scam and provided me with their fraud department. So if anyone receives a call from this number just hang up on them it's a SCAM!!!! By the way the broken English is a big red flag as well.

Got this call this afternoon from a Supposedly "Senior Officer David Justice" with the same situation as Ray mm ond Pierce (above). The person on the phone threatened that officers will go to my place off work to verify identify. He had also stated that my SSN was on hold. Called the SSN office and waiting for a call back to just verify that nothing has been  tampered with. Coincidently my bank account went through fraud.

I have been receiving calls from this number for the last few days, except he claimed his name was David from the above mentioned agency, fearing being arrested by the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office I called him back on the date he said I needed to call back. David told me that I needed to go to Walmart purchase a Green Dot card put 256.00 dollars on it and call him back and give them the 14 digit number on the back of the card and that would start the repayment of the debt and keep me from getting arrested. I got the sam shpeal as probably most people have gotten about paying the money or face jail time. I called the Phoenix PD and MCSOand was told that it was more than likely a scam and not to get the card, so if anyone starts getting calls like this, IT'S FRICKIN' SCAM!!!!!, gonna let Joe Ducey on channel 15 Phoenix know about this too so it can get around.
