annoying calls

Recorded message saying my "psycick" website is loosing business because I do not have access to personal devices. I am a contractor and do not have ANY website. Dips#@t robocallers.  Pushing "8" to remove my number from their call list just gave me repeat of recorded message.

Out of frustration with incessant unwanted calls from these disreputable robo-callers, I decided to WASTE their time & set-up an appointment for the security-system install.

It took a very annoying 35 minutes.  
btw: I can't see how they sell anything, as their process is slow, repetetive and did I mention ANNOYING!

They give their company name as "Alliance Home Protection" at (817) 768-2572 (or 2573) and some of their websites are ahprotect.com, alliancesecurityinc.com.
They WILL NOT provide their email or physical mailing address (so the BBB cannot open a file on them).

note : the robo-calls HAVE STOPPED for me; after the install-appointment was set, a few minutes later, someone called back to inquire why the name provided (false oops?) did NOT match the address ownership name ... told them they had been "pranked"; & they abruptly hung-up.  Then a few minutes later, (grrrr!) another robo-call; AGAIN, I set-up a 2nd install appointment (took only 15 mins. this time). I have NOT heard a ring from them since. ymmv.

Rang wireline. Call Blocked. Second call today. These guys do not understand the meaning "go f... o.f. I have read about the idea of CNAM where the local phone company pays the calling phone company for the caller id info, but geeze, is that worth enough to keep calling, and calling, and calling (Energizer Bunnie calling)? "There ought to be a law!" Oh, I forgot. There is. But DNC is a joke. I think R2J2 must be a cousin of R2D2. How disappointed the family must be.

Caller said that the record shows that I have not updated my Google listing. At stage I hung up before they can extract any more my information.

Rang wireline. Left no message. Number now blocked.  These are the same guys AKA R2Services, R2Sevices Co, RLServices, and now R2J2 Company. I stared getting calls on 03/22/13. At that time it was SEO. They have  used at least six different numbers.

These are "work from home" callers that get the employment from reading signs on utility poles, public phone boxes, signs over urinals in men's and ladies rooms and entry doors at thrift stores. If you don't recognize the area code on the caller ID, don't pick up the phone even if you are going to just hang it up again. They get paid for every (connection) completed call.  They really don't care if you talk to them, just so the call registers as connected.

they call continuously, here at work.. a pain in the butt!! I dont have time for this.I never get anyone to say anything..

this phone number has been calling me a couple of months now. wanting me to update my google listing. it is getting bad. like calling a couple of times a week.how can i stop these calls?

I have YouMail setup as my voicemail service on my phone and it identified the number belonging to a Shannon Gailhard.

Get a call every day from (914)5302331this number there is a recording that says in a nutshell theyre google and would like to speak to me about putting my website higher up on searches. Then a young guys voice says "did you ever receive a call like this" then they hangup, they obviously for some reason want people to call them back it is some sort of scam, they are forcing callers to call back generating fake traffic somewhere, i dont know why, but it is f****ng annoying they call everyday.

This company is a pain in the neck...we are on a do not call list and this company needs to be reported to the attorney general and anyone else that will listen.

The calls from this number has become a pain. But an interesting fact I would like to state is that I never received calls from this or other number stating the "FBI reports.....blah ...blah" as long as I had a TMOBILE post paid account. From the time I have switched my account to a TMOBILE prepaid keeping my old phone number. Makes me think think if the operators have some something to do with this mess and pain.

Same crap, different day. Scammers for home security systems. They found a new number that I had not previously blocked. If these nefarious a***oles spent as much time at a legitimate job instead of violating the National DO NOT CALL LIST and the TEXAS DO NOT CAll LIST, they might be able to earn a decent wage.  Caller ID says R2J2 Company, for what that is worth.  They probably spoofed that, too.

Do not answer this number and never press any "do not call" button or any button whatsoever. These people are testing numbers to see which ones are actually answered and how many "naive" people believe and follow their instructions. Then they sell this list of naive people to scammers. Just report the number to your Communications regulator.

Do not know this number or a reason why I would get a call from this number.  I'm on the national do not call list.  This is not a good number for them.

I *67'ed the #. I got a recording to press any # to be added to the Do Not Call List.
That will get you connected to a sales representative. I just hung up.
I get a lot of Spam calls from the (914) area code.

Same as above.  The call almost every day.  When I press 1 to get a human, they say high and then hang up.  What is the point?

Here we go again with the "...if you'll allow us to place a small sign in your yard..." free alarm offer. Now they're using a new number that I haven't previously blocked.

These people aren't even consistent with their instructions, one place it's "press 2 for Do Not Call" elsewhere it's "press 9 for do not call"...no matter what you press, a live person comes on and asks if you're interested in getting their "free" alarm.

"<female voice>The FBI reports there was a home break in every 15 seconds. Your local police recommend you protect your home. If you will allow us to place a small sign in your yard, we will install a new security system at absolutely no cost to you whatsoever. There is no cost for the system or the installation whatsoever. To hear more, press 1 now. To be placed on our Do Not Call list, press 9. <male voice> If you would like your phone number removed, press 2 now, otherwise press 1 to speak to a representative. Thank you." (repeated 2 more times)

Several times now when this company calls, the electronic voice message says   " to add your tel number to the do not call list, press 9 now.

I have done that over and over and they still continue to call.
