This company has my husband and I several times claiming that we have an outstanding payday loan and that the company is filing legal charges against us.  The guy claims that his name is Kingston James and when we tried to call the number back, we keep getting a recording saying that the number or code is incorrect.  I have never had a payday loan and I will be consulting an attorney about this matter.

I got a call from 914 595 7531 on January 3, 2010. They left a voice mail regarding a past payday loan, i just checked it out with my wife cause i didn't remember of it and we realized that we had actually missed the payment so i just called back the collections people and they were of great help, they helped me with a payment plan to get my account back on track.

These people used to leave a lot of threatening voice mails on my phone, but when i called them back i came to know that it was indeed in reference to a past due pay day loan which i had actually forgotten to pay back, they helped me rearrange the payment and also provided me with a paid in full receipt.

These people are scams they use 0000, 914, 850, and 646 area codes. They are after your money. Report them. Report them. I had one of them try to get a payday loan under my name one day. Do not confirm anything they ask you. They are getting approval to steal from you. They don't have enough to connect the dots. By you confirming what they ask you are assuring that they have the correct information.  Lets join forces and deny them access.

I employ you to call the company back and make sure that they actually made the arrangement.  Unless you are the scam artist yourself.  I have found out that they have entered comments on these blobs too to convince people to give in to there scams.

hi i have been called numerous times by some at 9145957531 claiming to collect on a past payday loanand just today i recived with stateing they recived a letter in the mail yesterday. reoprting i had yet to pay, and today is monday and excuees the mail do's not run on sundays

Today I received a phone call from a Steve Martin from 914-595-7531 My caller ID showed 666-608-6486. He indcated I took out a payday loan on 12/10/10 from Cash Advance America. I have not taken out any payday loans. He tried to verify my address, which was not my current address. I did not give him any information and informed him that all the information he had was incorrect and I was not giving him any. I told hm I knew this was a scam and to stop calling me. He insisted there were 10 outstanding complaints from this company and that he was not a scammer. I've received lots of calls from different people insisting I have paydayloans from Cash Advance America and I do not. I finally just hung up on him.

hey I have just started getting the same calls from the same place(s) and when they call me he says his name is officer willson garnet. he has all my info bank account,name,socail, date of birth everything. I just wanted to know what the lawyer told you cause i brought it to the attention of my local police department and they are not really going to do anything about it so my next step is to contact the f.b.i. and work with them cause i am pretty sure they are over seas and what they are doing is in violation of many laws.
they keep harrassing me and telling me that if i dont pay them today they will take it to court and when i told him to proceed with the court hearing he still was dumb enough to try and get me to pay him and then told me i would be in very big trouble yea right i cant belive scam artists now days. but if you could give me an email address so i can give it to the feds that would be a great help on my part and yours cause i am going to try and get as many people as i can to work with the fbi on this one to get these people locked up and maybe try and sue them for all the harassment you can email me back at lalondejr_donald@yahoo.com

they are calling from india, not US, they use magic jack to disguise real number, tell them 'maderchod" which is indian cuss word, they will know u are on to them and hang up

This company has called me numerous times from this number. When I have a voicemail from them they say they are from the Credit Collections Bureau, however, when they call and we answer they say they are from PayDay Collections Bureau. They have my social and claim they have my bank account number. When you ask them for their address and for a certified letter in the mail they say they can not do that. I have taken the time out to call the Credit Collections Bureau to find out if either Daniel Fernandez or Derrick Jackson work for them but they do not. I spoke to the Legal Advisor in the Credit Collections Bureau and he told me to talk to a lawyer. I am making that appointment now! All I have gathered so far is this is a scam!

received a call from Edward (914)595-7531 from United Financial in regard to a lawsuit against my SSN that the Federal Gov't has put on hold!  Heavy accent ....his real name is probably Peggy!  I'm thinking I won't be calling Pegg...um Edward back anytime soon

all these calls are scams. we would know if we received loans. it is a little scary how they got the info but i doubt theres much they can do other then be a nuisance. I told them off and thought it stopped awhile, but recently started up again.

I recieved a call on both my home phone and cell phone within minutes of each other.  The person said his mane was Edward from the United Financial Crime Dept.  Very strong eastern accent.  The number on my home caller ID was 862-034-3792 but the number on my cell was 856-103-26556.  Don't answer its a scam!

We have been getting calls from 863-450-3428  416-971-2222 760-933-5401 and the new one 914-595-7531 they have different names including John Anderson and Kevin Watson.  They say that we owe them money for a loan and that they are going to be putting me in prison no matter what I do they keep calling back using different numbers and different names but always the same foreign voice as always.  i can't get them to stop no matter what we say to them.  They keep threatening me and my family its been going onfor more then a month.

caller said his name was Jack marten or something like that, said I have a loan , um, no I dont, from payday something, they have been calling me on this for 3 months now, but have used different numbers, sent info to my local sherrifs department,, I dont have a payday loan, so how they got my info is pretty scarry to me,, theses people are nuts,, but will have to change my cell number, like great,,,,, so when you get calls like these, it is a huge SCAM, do no send them money, even if you think you have a loan, call they loan company yourself, they do not go that route,, they try to settle the matter legally,,, my son works with a payday loan company, and he said this has been going on for sometime now, they are from another company, send all your infor on them to the FBI or your local sherrifs office,,, they use names like cameron white, steve martin, jack martin, etc, and they cant speak english very well, also, some of them will say they are from Harrison law firm,, huge huge scam, so just dont give them any info,,

Received a call from a David Guerro, on cell phone and work phone. Left the call back number as 585-331-8325 and said he was calling from Allison Law Group in Washington. I googled the website and on the front page in red writing is an alert about that scam. I tried calling the number back but it was busy. They recited my social and parents address and said I was going to be arrested and all this stuff. I am not sure what to do from here. I receive these calls often. They go for a week straight calling my work and cell and then they stop and then a week or two later, they start up again.
How do we get these people stopped and what kind of person actually does that for a living?

He said to that all of the loan companies he represents take on the name Cash Advance to protect their identities. I asked so how do I know which company I took the loan out from and he said that they can't give me that information so I said, " WTF? You have to be kidding me. Right?" Then I hung up.

I just received a call from this number this morning. He identified himself as Derrick Jackson and said that he was calling to collect a debt. He could not even tell me the name of the company I owed money to or when I originally took out my loan. He also asked for $50 after I proved to him that I never took out a loan. I contacted my bank and the local authorities.

hey do the same thing i did i just started getting these calls today and they are telling me the same thing but i asked him for a number to call them back and it went through but when i asked him for their address he told me the only way to pay it was with a credit card but he told me he doesnt have the exact amount or date of the loan that i never took out so i told them i would work with my bank and try to clear this matter up ha ha jokes on them i called the us department of justice and the federal bureau of invetigations cause my local police wont do anything about it so try them to agencies they will be able to help you the number the scamer gave me was 914-595-7139

Recieved a called from kevin watson from number 914-595-7531. Said i had taken aloan out in dec of 2010, and the funds that was deposited into my checking account ending in 1265, Ed the man i did not take a loan out and work for a loan company. ask him for the name of the payday company, he said cash advance america, educated him i work for that company and will be in touch with my coporate office. He hung up. the name of the company he was calling from was Payday Collection Bureau calling  on behalf of Cash Advance America.

I am receiving calls from this number and he states his name is Sean Matthews with a middle eastern accent. He leaves voice messages threatening me with legal action and that the leagal dept will be coming to my house and my job. I can't figure out how they even have my home number as it is unlisted and now he is calling my job.I have tried to return the call and follow the advice of geting him to send me documantation, but the line is always busy. Anyone know how to end this?

I got a call from them today.  They threaTened to take my husband to court over a loan he never knew anything about.  Plus they made weird animal sounds & called me names & laughed at me.  SCAMMERS!!!!!  They had foriegn voices as well.

Received 2 calls from two different numbers, 914-595-7531 and 805-810-5077, saying that I received a pay advance loan, which I never did! They tried to tell me that I could settle by paying them money I told them I was reporting them to my local police department! The man immediately hung up! When listening to the message again on my cell phone and cheking the envelope informaiton, These people called from an international number 40300106909! These people get your information from PHISHING it from the computer!
