What fraud, you call back and it's Wal Mart until you press English or Spanish, I tried both, lo and behold it's Portifilio Recovery-a debt collector! This brings the numbers they have to 47.

They ring once hoping you'll call them back and then hopefully fall for their scam. DON'T ANSWER -DON'T CALL THEM BACK! Easy nuf!
I don't answer any out of state call unless I recognize it.

Just got a call from this number on my cell. Did not leave a message
Just called the phone number back again, and it gives you a list of menu options after it asks if you have a cell phone. Place is called A Cosmo Blast. It's like one of those commercials that you see on TV for "send a text to receive your Jersey Shore name", or something along those lines. Reccommend sending an email to your states attorney general so that they can look into the issue. Even though it may be on the bottom of their list. Here is the link to that website
Called, but no message was left. Called the number, and it says something about ACosmo, then proceeds to a Walmart advertisement. Then asked if it was a cell phone? If so to press star to receive a text message with more information. My only guess is they randomly dialed phone numbers.
I researched the number and it may show up as walmart, but using whitepages it found out it is a landline number.
Same issue as others. Called, rang once, left no message
called left no message when I called back it ask me to press some number to receive a text message.
What can we do about this non sense?
I called the number, got a Walmart Ad followed by press * to receive a text message from the sponsor...I hung up.
Got a call from this number it rang once and hung up.
Not answering unknown numbers makes it really hard to respond to get a job. You gotta apply to as many as possible, you can't know every number of every HR department or interviewer. My question is, if I DO answer a scammer, did I now set myself up for something worse, and if so, what?
Same as everyone else, got a call at 9:30am, rang twice and hung up.
Called Cell phone around 7:40 PM PDT No message. After reading other posts here I plan to block calls from this number to my cell phone, which is listed on the Do Not Call list.
Call at 9pm PST (Oregon) no message.
sky: I had one credit agency call me 5 times in one week. They called my cell phone. I returned the call on my land line. Asked, very nicely, what they wanted. They were looking for a person. Told me her name. I said I don't know her. Asked them very nicely they had called a "DO NOT CALL"listed phone. They said they would remove my cell. Called again , repeated the warning to a supervisor. She got REALLY po'd. Told her again I am on a DO NOT CALL LIST, and I DO NOT know the person they were looking for. I made a complaint to the registry with phone numbers, dates, and times. That was two months ago. I never did hear from the registry or the people who made the call. Sometimes I feel that the DO NOT CALL LIST is a bunch of hooey! Take care! Joe
Called, I answered on second ring. Call disconnected without saying anything.
Same thing. One ring, hung up. Called my cell phone. I'm on the east coast and 914 is a familiar area code (the area just north of NYC) so I thought it might be someone I know but after reading this page I guess not.
Get a call periodically. No one leaves a vm. Last call came in this morning.
Same here, no msg. Texas.
i had a missed call on my cell...no voice mail so i called it back
