this person keeps calling me and saying that i owe him money and that i took out a loan and never paid it and then when i said can u tell me the imformation u have he said no but its right in my hand and then i repeated to say can u send me the imformation and he said no i have to do somthing frist and kept going on about how i will get sued and all this other stuff its a scam DONT FALL FOR IT!!!

Wow, what a crazy world we live in today.  I tried the more subtle approach and told him that his mom must be so proud.  I thought he was going to have a stroke right there on the phone.  I called back and told him I was an EMT and did I need to send an ambulance, I thought he was going to choke on his own cuss words, he couldn't get them out fast enough.  Great Holiday Cheer!  Hey Eric Johnson is his name and he is calling from some Federal !@*#& Building.  Couldn't understand most of what he said.

I got a call from this guy today also. Making the same threats. He called himself Alex Rodiguez. Told me to call this number back to speak to the lawyer to find out what I was being charged with. I called the number... it was the same number. He answered. Acted like he was some guy named Ron. Threatened me and called out my personal info. Told me a sheriff would be at my house tomorrow. Then I found the number listed on this site. What a freaking jerk. He's called my house 10 times today. He answers the phone like its his home... hello? Told me he was from the federal bureau of customer relations. There is no such bureau.

just fyi all it's not just payday loans because I haven't had one, i just purchased a new car then the calls started. It only would say he was from DC and I owed 1000.00 to Cash Advance America which I know is a crock since I don't even know who that is until now he did start out by saying I owe and don't interupt me.

I also Just received a call from this gut with no name and he said I will be sued. The scary thing is he know my last 4 digits of my ssn.

The same guy with a thick accent called my mom's cell phone stating that my attorney should call him and threatened me and my family with legal suit if I didnt call him back. I called him back and he told me that I needed to pay back alot of money that I had received in California. I live in Oregon, never been to California in the last ten years. I told him he was a fraud and I was turning him in and he just kept saying f*** y** over and over again.

I have also received a call from this number.  I have changed my phone number and I I am in the process of doing a fraud protection.  They had all my personal information.  What a mess.

I had this same number call me today twice. i found out it is a number from westchester, NY. After they called and told me to call the same number back and to talk to john Anderson. When i did he was very rude, even with his thick accent i could understand him when he told me to "s*** his*****", and "f*** you moth******er". when i asked to speak to his boss he told me "im the boss bi***"... im down to find these f****rs if anyone else is.

Good advice. This is one of many reasons why internet payday loans have been outlawed in several states. They are simply not worth having your personal identifying information hacked and the other headaches associated with them.

This IDIOT called me at work and even left a message.  I had to repeat it 3 or 4 times to finally understand what he was saying.  I totally agree with "happy holidays" comment on Dec 16.  I was messing around a couple of weeks ago looking for a pay day loan company I could borrow money from so that I can get my kids some xmas gifts.  I had to submit an application online, turned out that the application I filled out was not from the pay day loan company but rather a third party lender who searches for a company that will actually loan you money.  Ever since I've been receiving tons of offers on loans and tons of phone calls at home and my cell phone including text messages and now they're calling me at work!  I have been ignoring most calls and deleting all txt msgs and emails.  I guess I learned my lesson the hard way.  SO PLEASE, to the rest of you who are reading this post...NEVER SUBMIT PERSONAL INFORMATION over the internet unless you know for sure who your trusted source is.  Happy Holidays to all from South Texas.

I recieved this call as well.  At first I didnt know what was going on because he called me at work and said I had 3 criminal charges pressed against my name and ssn.  I said i didnt know what he was talking about and he told me I should call John Anderson right away at the same number he called me from.  I called it back and the mail box was full. Googled the phone number saw a lot of people had the same phone number.  He called my work phone again ( I have caller ID) and I kept hanging up the line before I answered it. About the 10th time later I picked up the phone and said ok your name is not john or ronnie any american name like that, you are indian this is a scam and I will be reporting you to the authorities. He hung up and I have not heard from him since.

this guy just called my phone as well as my work and left a very disturbing message that i need to have my lawyer contact him and that it's very time sensitive and if i don't call him back that he "wishes me luck" because i am going to need it! after i searched the number i realized its a scam!

A Ronnie Cooper called my job and stated i was in Violation Of Federal Banking, Check Fraud and that they were going to send the sheriff to serve a warrant on my job. The calls come from Port Chester, New York. Why can't the phone companies stop these people. My bank don't have a clue and they will not pay them and I did not give my information to them.

He called my work and left a message. When I called him he didn't even know what number he called. Told me to listen and not interupt him when I asked a question because I couldn't understand him (because of his accent) he asked me if I was going to interupt him and when I said yes he hung up. Was something about bank fraud and tax fraud this guy must really think we are dummies to fall for this

Keep getting calls from this guy he is retarded, told me he was sending a deputy to my door.  Isn't there something that can be done for him falsely claiming to be an officer?

I received a call from on 3 lines same phone number at the same time. Two on my work line, one on my cell phone. The man had a thick middle eastern accent and asked me for my attorneys information because I have a law suit with three criminal charges pressed on my name and social security number.  I asked what it was about and he said he did not have that information I was to contact John Anderson at the same number that they called from 914-612-7261. The man said it was very imprortant I call John Anderson back right then.  I did not.  Three minutes later the same man called me back and asked if I called.  I told him no I was at work and do not call me there again, I would call when I had time. He insisted that it was very important and frankly just wouldn't shut up.  I hung up on him.  Called that number back and the mail box was full.  This is a scam, I have reported it to the FTC.  Just hang up on this man if you answer the phone to him.

Harrassing people indicating "I am going to kick your a--" and "do you want to f--- with me?" statements.... They are not Americans.

I got a call from that Mark guy this morning. He was telling me a lawsuit was filed against me. But when I asked who filed the lawsuit. He ignored me and started talking. So I interrupted him again and asked who filed a lawsuit. He said I can not give you that information. I told him that since I can not have that information then he not getting $hit from me. I hung up in his face and programmed the number in my phone so that when he calls again (which he did) it will go right to voicemail. So if he threatens me all the calls will be recorded. I have worked for a payday loan company and I know that they can garnish your wages and that's it. Criminal charges no they can not do. But this company can get in trouble for the threats and everything else. So if he wants to call and threaten me. Then I want him to bring it! Because I will sue their a**. He messed with the wrong one today.

I also received a call from this number telling me that I have 3 criminal court charges pending that I should get me a lawyer or attend the consequences  this guy had a strong Jamaican or mid eastern accent I ask him a couple of question and he told me that he can not disclose information about the case to no one...

I inquired about a check loan and that's when i started receiving phone calls from on Saturday. I called him back every time i ask him something he hangs up.

I get a phone call this morning from this guy then had to call ronnie cooper @ 914-612-7261. Bottom line is Charges were being threatened due to an unpaid Payday loan. They had all kinds of  personal information. I could resolve the matter under three comditions, which 2 of them I can't remember. The one I do remember is that I had to go to my nearest Wal-Mart, get a prepaid card with the amount of $500.00, and then give him the card info. Keep in mind that the condition of all this was I could't even get off of the phone with him. Tis was about one of the most dumbest scams I have ever heard of. I did some extensive research on this topic. I have some information that might be useful to someone else. I will describe as a list below. Oh, I seen that some of you mentioned you were going to contact the FBI, however I did no see that any of you actually did. It happens that I did and all they did was refer me to a message hotline! I have waited all day for a callback and still nothing! Info below!

It also provided me with the coordinates (Latitude: 41.0 Longitude: -73.69). If you do a reverse address on this address it belongs to Frank A Longo. 27 Mount Holly Dr. (914) 921-3090. As you can see all that work to locate the address and it leads back to a different number....   =/    
That sucks, well I do what I could for us ALL! P.S. I will still try to pursue this matter with the FBI though. Unfortunatley, you probably will not hear from me again because I just happened to stumble across this site. I just received a call from another number, telling me to call this number and ask for attorney Ronnie Cooper. The only thing the guy on the phone would say, was that I was being sued. I called this number and spoke to a Mr Cooper. That is all he would say as well and then became irrate and obnoxious with me and hung up the phone. I called back and he just started yelling at me and said he would just send the sheriff out to serve me. Then hung up on me again. Yes, both gentleman I spoke with were foriegners...

I just returned a phone call to this 9146127261 and the man had a deep indian voice and he told me the same thing that he was going to have me arrested at my work on Monday. And he told me if I paid 500.oo right now over the phone then everything would be resolved. He said his name was alex cruz. When I said I couldn't pay right now he hung up. I am so scared cuz I have a 5 month old little girl and if go to jail my little girl will be put in the system cuz there is no one to take care of her if I'm gone. How do we get help about this man calling us?
