Called ID said Katana something or other, I ans. and got machine that said, " Are you over 60....", that is when I hung up.

I should continue...when I googled the name it does come up as Katonah Lewisbora School District

We received a call, no message from this number; caller ID lists the name as "Katonah Lewisbo..."
I have no idea what this is.

What if my voice mail answers these calls??

These same fools call me everyday from a different number.  "Hello, my name is John, I'm with the shipping department".   That's when I click them off, Katonah Lewisbo should be locked up.

When I answered, a recorded message "Are you over the age of 65?...." at which point I hung up.  When I lifted the receiver a moment latter, recording continued to blab....damn them....typing up my phone line!

Caller ID shows as "Katonah Lewisbo"; robocall for a scam preying on seniors.  If they have indeed spoofed a school district's number as suggested by previous posters, then these scammers need to be put to death and their assets seized if/once they are found.

The school district was reached by calling the above # and they post a msg greeting saying "that an outside entity has placed automated calls using our caller ID. We have verified with our phone company that these calls have not originated with the Katonah-Lewisboro School District."  The suggestion is made that we contact our local phone company, but my efforts calling my provider AT&T, produced no useful results.-- (We have received your complaint. I received a call from these maggots earlier this morning. It would sound like these are those maggots offering an alleged senior alert system.
I regard to calling them back & etc, that will not work. Doing so simply confirms your number to them.

I do not answer unknown callers.  It came up as the South Salem NY,   Loud noise on the answering machine.  I called back to see if I could stop them from calling.  It was a recording from a school district saying their number is being used by someone who is not a legal user and I should contact my phone company.  They do not have an option to stop them from calling and now I am wondering why their recording did not come up on my answering machine.

I returned the call to this number and reached a recorded message that indicated that this was a school district and that calls originating from this number were being placed without permission.  I'm going to block the number.

These idiot, moron, scammers call and call. Even some of them using local area codes.

id showed Katonah Lewisboro School, but I have no affiliation with this number or listing. Didn't answer because too many unknown callers these days are spoofing numbers to gain access to your personal info. At best, it could be a telemarketer...so who needs that anyway???

Agree with above person. If I do not know who calls I dn,t answer.   This 914 763 7582 has shown up before on my CID. I just don,t answer.  If who ever is calling wants you they will leave a message. Same as ccaller unknown 000.000.0000.  Do not answer.
