It's a scam. Global Acquisitions (www.globalacq.com) and Ben Parker are definitely a scam. They claim they will sell your business within a certain time period, and if they don't, they will refund the "business valuation fee" (usually several thousand dollars). People don't get their money back, despite the "guarantee".

The site 800notes.com has tons of people reporting they received the same message. If the company is legitimate, why do they keep changing phone numbers? So far, past numbers used by Global Acquisitions or Corporate Acquistions Group include:

Ben Parker(he also uses Rick Webber)is one of the many alias's that Tyrone E. Tymkovich uses to deflect attention from his previous criminal convictions.  He chooses names that will elude search engines(Ben Parker, spiderman's uncle, and Rick Webber, from General Hospital), because his name is so tainted.

Tyrone E. Tymkovich has plead guilty to theft over $1,000, and to felony forgery of a check. On March 13, 2009, Tyrone E Tymkovich also plead guilty to disturbing the peace, and to multiple threats to person/property.

On May 28, 2009 Tyrone E. Tymkovich, President of Corporate Acquisitions/Global Acquisitions LLC., entered into a Stipulation & Final Agency Order in the matter of disciplinary action against his real estate broker's license (er 40029518) with the State of Colorado Real Estate Commission. The order settles charges that Tyrone Tymkovich made violations of the real estate licensing law. Under the terms of the order Tyrone Tymkovich agrees to a fine of $5,500.00 and a permanent revocation of his real estate license. Tyrone Tymkovich admitted to the allegations, factual findings and conclusions of law in the investigative report dated April 27, 2009.

Based on BBB files, Corporate Acquisitions/Global Acquisitions Group has a BBB rating of 'F'.

* Failure to honor commitment to arbitrate or mediate disputes.

I did not call the number and I didn't enter the pin number.
what is the purpose of this call.
I once received a similiar call by a woman saying she apologized for dialing my number.  A really sexy voice.  When I dialed the number back it went to a fax line.  I thought it was a robot call.  Someone said that if you dial the number back you are charged like 17bucks for dialing that number.  What's with this?  Anybody know?

I received three calls this evening on three different business phone lines.  The RECORDED message said, "We're sorry we dialed your number in error.  Please excuse the inconvenience.  Please call 877-281-6343 to be removed from our calling list.  That's 877-281-6343.  Enter Pin # 1662.  That's Pin # 1662."  

I did not call the number and I did not enter the Pin Number.

I can't figure out the purpose of these calls but they all came in within 20 minutes of each other....and the phone numbers dialed, while belonging to two businesses in the same town are quite disparate.
