don't waste your time guys!!

Just got a call from this number and it IDed as TxHwyPatrol.and as the others got a repeated busy signal. With daughter's fiance' on the road in Central Texas, I became worried....so I googled the number to get area of Texas but found this site as well. Worry turned to wanting to open a "Can Of Wupass"....

We got a call last night from this number, but when my husband said he wasn't available they hung up without so much as a goodbye. Scam.

I had a call from this number, the caller was very friendly to start the conversation, but as soon as I told him if he was calling for a donation, I could not make a donation at this time. . .WOW,  phone call ended when he hung up on me. No thank you for your time, sorry to have bothered you, NOTHING. It made me so mad, I tried calling the # back for about an hour & it rang busy. How can someone working for an organzation like the TX Highway Patrol be so rude? I would have given them a piece of mind for calling me & then being so rude as to hang up on me. I hope they will call me again so I can tell them what I think & can hang up on them.

called last evening.  The conversation started off:  " nothing is wrong no emergency's"  As always I say "Our company handles all donations"
It works and it get folks off the phone in a hurry.
Too bad our Highway department is miss represented.

The man asked for me by name.  I was ill that day and not thinking straight.  He asked for a donation for fallen officers.  I usually hang up, but was not my usual self.  I agreed to pay them $10, IF their organization proved to be true.  I expect much trouble from this in the future.

Call came from 915-595-3423, CALLER ID listed as "TX HWY PATROL". I wasn't home and they left no message. I think that this is a fund raising call for some police association but not 100% sure.
