This needs to be stopped

My wife and I got a call from this number on each of our cellphones. Already filed a complaint to the FTC for each violation of the Do-Not-Call registry. Suggest that people do the same before this becomes more of a problem.

I keep getting unwanted calls on my cell phone fron this number.

Called me on the 18th, no message, no caller ID, wish they would stop calling.

get a call on my cell phone. It?s an automated call. The recorded call claims I signed up for the contractor?s state exam. I didn?t. The call?s recording further claims to be selling a book for passing the exam.



I don?t want to be paying to be hit on by sales people. I call the number (916-200-3959). I get the same recording. I tried to hit number one to get the sales people to complain to and to express my indignation of their sleazy tactics. The extension isn?t valid. The goal of this social engineer wasn?t selling a book. I do know they where surfing for cell numbers. They have mine to sell to every jerk on earth.



I do a reverse phone number look up for 916-200-3959. It?s a Carmichael number. The owner of the number is Allegiance Telecom or XO Communications Company. When you go you the website (http://www.allegiancetelecom.com/algx_home.jsp) there is no contact link. It?s little more than an empty shell. This seems suspicious to me.

We have someone surfing for cell phone numbers that is using a rouse and is calling from a phone number in the County of Sacramento that?s little more than a shell.

Telemarketer selling contractor licenses. Recorded message, claims "referred" to my number. Called my business cell.

Posted an ad on craigslist for free furniture and all of the sudden this number starts calling. Automated telemarketing bs.

Got a call on Aug. 10 2008 from 916-200-3959 at 1pm EST.
Did NOT answer it!!

This is at least the third from this number. forst was probably June 2008

I got a call at 4:30pm pacific time, and no message was left. Sorta annoying since I'm job hunting and employers could be calling from many areas. Haven't called it back yet to see who/what it was, though after googling it I land here.

Just got a call from this number. Errrr!

Received automated call today on my cell phone; called back from a land line and it was a recorded message. Even though it said "press 1" to order some guide, when I pressed 1 it said that was not a valid extension and hung up on me.

Received the call. Answered it, but nobody said anything. I called back from an unlisted number and it is an automated system talking about contracting license.

I have received three calls from this number on my cell phone today but I haven't answered the call.  It's very annoying.

automated message saying that "you're receiving this call because.."  basically offering to sell contracting licences.. anyone know how to report this number?

I called the number back. It seems to be a number for a company selling  contractor licensing exam guides

Gotten 5 calls from this number for the past week, never answered.

This looks to be part of the 916-200-2000 and 916-200-3000 number. I've gotten calls from both on my cell phone. Very annoying to say the least.
