I am continuously getting these calls. I have pressed 2 to be removed from their list AND tried speaking to a rep who would hang up on me instantly even when acting interested. The kicker, I don't even have a car! Well, I got most of those calls to stop and now I'm getting then to "reduce the interest rates" on a credit card that I don't even have! This one has no option to be removed from the list and I keep getting hung up on by them too because I don't have a valid credit card number to give them!

I keep getting calls from these people so I decided to see how far down the rabbit hole I could go. I pressed 1 to renew my car whatever and she asked what year and how many miles were on the car. I said 94 and 200,000. (Lying of course, I don't have a car) She said this only applies to cars 95 or newer and hung up on me. (WTF?) So maybe they'll never call again. but probably not. If they call, say you have a newer car and ~100,000 miles on it. Don't give them any real information, say you don't have any credit cards and lost your checkbook, but can mail them a check if you get an address. Get an address even if it's a PO Box and post it online and report them to the BBB.

The same thing happens to me on a daily basis. Has been happening from various phone numbers - same exact message every time, sometimes a man's voice and sometime's a woman's voice, always recorded. I don't even own a vehicle (never have). Yet they keep calling my cell phone (ATT) every day. Annoying.

I just got another call from them and googled it to see how I could get off the damn list. If I'm in the mood, next time I call I am threatening to call the police and/or sue. Because what they're doing is illegal.

The caller id is extremely easy to change, just as the "From:" field on a spam email is always forged. Report the calls to your Atty General's office.

I am so tired of these calls too.  Mostly I have hung up as soon as i hear it is about the car warranty.  Last week however, I waited until I got a live person so I could ask to be taken off the list.  He told me if I wanted off the list I could suck his $#%@.  I tried to call back to complain, but the number was "Disconnected".  Boy was I angry.
Maybe next time I will play along...I think my husbands non-working '72 Ford pickup needs an extended warranty.

I just found this site! Same thing.. caller ID says California call, you answer and it hangs up.  I called it back and it said Verizon cell and no longer in service. I also have had 8,000 calls about my "warranty" expiring on my car.  I have literally screamed at them to quit calling, told them I did not have time and that I also run a business from my home and do not have time..AND THEY WILL NOT REMOVE ME! One day I acted all interested and at the end, after I made her wait and answer MY seemingly interested-type of questions, then asked if I was wasting her time and hung up..she seemed mad. lol.. Now they call at 8:30 p.m. and early on Saturday mornings, too. It needs to stop. I have also had fax machine sounds, and "white noise" sounds.

I just received a recorded voice message on my answering system from these guys:  ??This is the second notice that the factory warranty on your vehicle may have expired and should be reactivated to protect you against the cost of repairs. If you have not responded to this notification it?s not too late Please don?t make the mistake of driving with out a warranty. You are still eligible to reactivate warranty coverage.  This is the final call before we close the file.  Press 2 to be removed from the follow up list or press 1 to speak to a representative now about your vehicle."  I received this identical message on Jan 31 from ONE SERVICE 1-562-289-8136 (Long Beach CA) and on March 11 from Out of area 1-702-520-1338 (Nevada)
I called the 916 number on March 26 and got: ?Welcome to Verizon wireless, the number you dialed has been changed, disconnected or is no longer in service.?  I wonder if these guys can show false numbers on the caller ID.

These car warranty people must have at least 20 different numbers from several different states.  Right now it's saying "california call" it used to say " nevada call"
anyway. i've asked them time after time to take me off their list and they refuse to.  So the last two times they've called i've just had fun with them.
just now she asked for my name and i said "Aisha Haah!" i asked her to repeat with me but she said "haah?" lol it was really funny.
last time they called i told them my name was "anita bath" (get it? i need a bath?) hahaha. just aggravate them when they call u cause trust me THEY WILL NOT REMOVE you from their list.

I am sick and tired of getting these blasted calls about car warranties.  Not everybody has a new car.  I have asked several of the telemarketers when I have decided to talk to them if they are going to extend warranty on a 1995 Pontiac and a 1988 Mercury, and they hang up on me; but I still get these blasted calls especially early in the morning when I have worked all night and may have been asleep for 4 hours.  Someone make them stop!!!!!

This number called and left a minute and a half long voice mail about a car warranty running out.  This has been going on for about a year now and its funny how they only call the VOIP line and not our house phone. This voip service is provided by TeleBlend aka SunRocket.  Anybody else getting calls on your internet phones too?
