Called my cell phone for the first time at 12:09 PM. No message was left.

Stop calling me!

me and my friend got this number the same day and  with in 5 mins of each other last week and then on yesterday I got the same call but didn't answer it because I was busy so I called it back like 20 mins after and it said that the number was disconnected then today my friend got the same call so how can the number disconnected if they called my friend today, how can I have that number stop calling me?

Got call call from 916-219-2019 on my cell phone.  Sounded like recorded message about utilities raising their rates so I hunged up.  I would guess that it is a solar company trying to sell their wares.

The actual person behind these calls is Steven Leflar and a company called "Simply The Best"

Left message on my cell, something about must be a homeowner to take advantage of energy savings.  I hung up & deleted the message without listening to the rest.

Received call yesterday (May 23, 2013) about reducing my electric bill.
Spam call.

Spam electric bill.  I hung up and reported the number on the Donotcall federal website.

If you are already registered in the do not call registry then make sure you lodge the complaint with the government. If you are not then go register.

I received this call on my land line. I'm keeping a log now of unwanted calls. This number has called the land line
13 times since the beginning of the year.

I'm in SoCal but cell happens to be 925 and I received a call a couple of hours ago. Didn't leave message.

Left a comment earlier. I just checked with my parents, and they both, too, received a call from this same number on their cell phones. I feel this supports my "selective war dialing known mobile phone numbers" hypothesis. Nobody I know received a call from this number on a land line.

So far, the area codes which I know were affected were 209, 510, and 925. There are probably more, and there will probably be more over the next few days.

The number is apparently managed by Digicom Services, Inc., out of Sacramento who is notorious for allowing customers to phone spam through their lines. (See http://www.whycall.me/916-219-2019.html.)

Got a call from this number on my mobile (cell) phone at 2:37:25 PM. I didn't answer, and they didn't leave a message. I'm in the 510 area code.

From reading all the comments above, One possibility is that someone or some organization is "war dialing" known cell phone numbers in certain area codes to find and catalog the lines are active. What the call is about is probably irrelevant to their intentions.

I am in the 925 area code and got a call from them 5 minutes ago.

I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message. Sounds like telemarketing hitting the (925)s right now...

Called cell, no message.

Called the number back, after ignoring the incoming call on my cell phone, got an automated message about opting out pf their "preferred marketing". Does not indicate the company name or what is being marketed.

I just received a missed call from this number.  When I called back, less than 2 minutes later, I received a message that it was not a working number.

They called on MY CELL!!! (intentional caps).  I'd call back and give them a piece of my mind, but that would only encourage them.
