I just got a call from a “Mr. Brown”, supposedly from Bank of America. He had called a minute before, but he blocked his caller ID, so I told him to call back from an unblocked number. When he did, he explained that he wanted to verify some information for the “Gold Rush Sweepstakes”, that I had won $5m. When I told him I was going to record the call, he hung up. The unblocked number he used was (916)222-0670, and the caller ID was Michignbar, CA (that is the correct spelling). It’s a phishing scam…pass it on to your friends.
