This is a collection Agency that says it's collecting for a past payday loan from check n go.

I've never had a loan with them.  They still won't stop calling.

"Albert" of "My Wow Tech" CL spam advertiser of a variety of types of leads (loan mod, debt, seo, card processing, etc)responded to an internet inquiry.
His call back number was 954-320-6925 x 202 (deep raspy voice, foreign accent) and the address from the spam linked to 3830 Lyons Rd. Coconut Creek FL 33073. info@mywowtechleads.com816-233-0467

Called at 1:17 AM to my business line. No message left.

I have recieved 100's of prank calls from this number into my call center. The people are of hispanic descent and are costing money.

Just received a call from this number... dead air.  They other party did not say a word.

Same thing here and I'm paying by the minute. My 1-800 number is through a Canadian company "Callture". I fear this might be a way to drive up billable minutes. Anyone else paying by the minute and/or with Callture?

This is a recurring "dead air" call to my 800 line for rentareverend.com. The results are the same "disconnected #" for all above complaints. However, I did file an online complaint with the FCC. The site is;

It was a very fast application and easily submitted. I will continue to file each time the call wastes my minutes, and encourage all consumers to do the same.

Received a call from this number on my toll free line and was billed.  I called the number when I got the bill and the message is "not in service."  So I did more checking and found a lot of other people are also getting bogus calls that appear to be from this number.

This is a outbound caller ID number for Skype calls.  We get calls from our offshore partners from this number - its just a masked caller ID number for any skype calls to the US from outside the US... so really it could be anyone - some of them are scams - some are for real, like the offshore companies we dealwith.

Many dead airtime calls to my cell phone.  If you're receiving calls too, go to the FCC Website via this link http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm as I just did and file a complaint.  The only way to stop this kind of abuse is to get enough of us complaining that the FCC takes action, and they will... $10,000/day worth - they issue Notices of Violation all of the time!

What the hell is wrong with these people? wasted 5 minutes of my Ring Central account with a song that I neither ask for, nor did I like it.

Just left a voice mail on my Ring Central account. Wasted 5 minutes of our company's account. Idiots.

Same as the rest, no one on other end, just silence and called my 800 number

Received the call at 4:40 a.m.  Grrr!  The "number not in service" recording sounds like an answering machine to me since it starts with a beep.

This number will appear when someone spoofs their caller id and enters a series of digits that are not a valid phone number i.e. all zeros or 123-456-7890.  When calling a regular number with this type of spoofed id, the caller id usually shows up as unavailable.  When calling a toll free number with this type of spoofed id, this is where the 916 Sacramento number appears.  It is probably an outgoing line from the spoofing service.

Called my business phone number after hours and kept calling for 5 times in a row.  The number is the Sacremento area.  These people need to be stopped

I took a call from this number at my business. This number showed on my caller ID. Nobody was on the phone after repeated saying hello I hung up. I then hit redial to be told number is out of service. White pages shows the carrier is O1 Communications, Sacramento CA.

Just got a call at 12:40am on my land line.  ID said unavailable. The number said (916) 233-0467.  Looked it up and said it is from Sacramento.  Found this thread.  Not sure who it is.  Total dead silence.  Put the phone on mute and still never heard anything even after sitting there for 2 min.  They better not call again.. or there is going to be a big issue.

Here's a hypothesis: Could it be that any toll-free number called from someone who is using their Skype account shows as this 916-233-0467? (In which case they could be as legitimate as any other caller - with possibly a higher rank of pranks since kids can get a free untraceable Skype number).

I just signed up for my first toll free number and tested it from my land line and my Skype account. The former showed my land line number. The latter showed this 916-233-0467 number. So I googled the number and found this thread.

Called our toll free 888#. Silent - I hung up. It ain't a scam by no phone company... This is someone war-dialing toll free #'s trying to hit modem/faxes/PBXs to spam/hack-into, IMHO.

Five minute voicemail to my 800 number with no audio. Did not call back.

Got a phone call 9:25 AM.  Picked it up - complete silence like the rest.  Did not call back, got online instead and read responses here.

Called our company requesting service.  At first (for like the first 10 seconds of the call it sounded real) but these are just punk kids making  prank phone calls.  The kid calling was doing her best attempt at an irish or scottish accent.  I think they were trying to keep me on the phone long enough to engage me in their game.

Might be calling individuals and businesses while recording them to get "hilarious" audio to put on youtube or something.

I put them on hold for about 10 seconds then picked back up and gave them an airhorn blast!!!

For some reason, they hung up ;-)

I rcvd a call from them yesterday, over 1 monute of silence.  I'm a ring central user and this is the second call from California that has done this.  On the blocked list they go.

10 second voice mail left on my toll free number.  My number is from Vitelity

I just got the call from 916 233-0467. It went into my voicemail but no one left a message. I called back and was told the number is not in service.
