Going through the voice mail box of an employee who transferred to another job and found a bunch of messages left from debt collectors over the last 5-8 months. Some are quick and simple, some are threatening. Most of them have Caller ID info and callbacks, so I'll be sharing these numbers with you guys today.

This call was from CRSI and the Caller ID said SACRAMENTO, CA. He gave his callback number as 855-634-2107.

Call the Attorneys for Consumers and report them...If they find these guys are in violation, they will be fined and we can actually receive up to $300 for their abuse!  I've opened my case and they are very easy to work with and they are FREE.

These guys at CRSI are a FRAUD.  I have already opened a case with Attorneys for Consumers.  Do NOT pay them anything!!!!!!!  Call you bank and stop the payments and see if they can get any payments you made to them back - TELL THEM IT'S A SCAM and your bank should help you.

These folks called me back in April and were very nasty with me...they read me my SSN, bank account info and employment info - NONE OF WHICH I CONFIRMED - thankfully.  I told them to send me something in the mail, certified.  Instead they wanted to send me an email because they insisted I resolve this matter over the phone that day.

Since then I have been in a tragic accident and lost my husband.  I have been in the hospital and rehab for over 3 months.  I just recently came home and am currently on disability.  These guys called me again and knew everything about my accident and once again insisted I pay them today.  I told them to send me a certified letter and I would investigate it.  Once again, they started to get nasty with me.  I simply told him DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN and told him that I had reported him to BBB, the credit bureau and the Attorneys for Consumers.  

IF the debt is valid and they are contacting your employment, your employer KNOWS that they have to be served by the court to garnish wagers or even discuss you with them.

I am 35 yo and Richard Anthony aka Smith kept calling me grandpa which is a tactic I used when I had a recalcitrant client from my boiler room days at Laudenburg Thalmann.....a defunct stock brokerage house. He was looking for a co worker  who is not in the office today.  This guy is a rude little sh** that I used to have carry a jar of turds for me.

I received a call from this number that show up on my job phone yesterday. A John Vick left a message on my work phone stating that He was calling from CRSI and He needed for me to call back by 8:30 and that he is give my old supervisor a call and he will be speaking with her tomorrow so it is important that I give a call back.  the number he left was 855-634-2107 x3562. He also stated that I should call him back so I can find out why he is calling and he can help resolve the matter.  I called back this morining and a recording.  This company is in CA. I know that do not have the right to be contacting my co-workers.  I am not paying them anything until I get something in writing.

I recieved a call from a 18556342107 and it was a guy named richard anthony from crsi stating that i  owe money to a payday loan named money and more i told him that i thought i had taken care of that loan.He stated that there was a civil case filed aganist on a friday.I was scared and i agreed to setup a payment plan but when i asked to send a money order that told me that they can't accept  it so i had to give them my account number. We agreed the first payment would be 100.00 dollars and the next would be for 257.00  he told me he waived the remaining balance now that are calling mw again for the 157.00 he said he would have waived.I have reqeusted something in writing but have not recievd anything. What should i do

They just started calling my phone tonight around 8:00pm. They called twice and when i didn't answer they called my sister on her cell phone and told her i took out a payday loan in 2008 and put her and my mother as a reference. They gave her a phone number for my mother that she didn't even have back then. When my sister said it was impossible the girl on the phone flipped out and start saying nasty things about me. Then she hung up.

My sister just called me because she got a call on her cell phone from this number asking questions about me so she called them back when she got home from work. She called them from her home phone and the girl said "Is this the number I called?" She said she was calling from her home phone and then the girl told her that I owed a payday loan from 2008 and that I have been writing bad checks to pay it back. She tols her that i put her and my mother as references. When my sister asked her for the number for my mother she gave them a phone number that my mother didn't get until 2009. When she accused the gilr of lying the girl flipped out and said that she had a job and didn't need a payday loan and then continued to say some more rude things. She said she was from CSI. After I founf this website I called my sister and let her know they are fraud right away.

I have been getting harassing phone calls from someone named John Vick from the telephone number of 916-233-1482 extension 3562.  On the call he says he's from CSI.

HERE'S A THOUGHT- PROVE IT'S A REAL BILL!!! THE LAW REQUIRES THAT YOU SEND PROOF IN WRITING, NOT JUST CALL AND LEAVE B***S*** MESSAGES WITH THREATS THAT ARE COMPLETELY AGAINST THE LAW!!

I don't know who these people are.. but they also have been calling me, and I have been ignoring their calls, because of course no information is really given so why should I- but today they called and a (what sounded like) Clint Roberts? left a message and said they were going to call my property owners and actually had the owners names. I saved the message as I think this is illegal. I am reporting them right now to the FTC.

They called my employer again, and when they found out I transfered offices, they called my cell phone.  I have asked them repeatedly to provide proof of the debt, because I have had fraud on my bank account, and they refuse to provide it,  Then they stop calling for a few months, and start over again.  I wonder if they call my boss - the Sheriff of the county - they will get anywhere other than a lawsuit.

Yes, received the same call today this Anthony guy.  He left a message on my work phone stating he was from CRSI and they have been trying to reach because i have a check through an old bank account that was process so they are going to be contacting my employer so please give them call at 855-634-2107, when I do it does not go through so I called the number on the caller id and  they are closed for the day.  How are you going to leave a number that does not work?  Are this people legit?

Ugh, these guys are back at it again. Now they are contacting family members and apparently the CEO of my husbands company. I called to get a physical address so I can send a cease and desist letter but the person who answered wouldn't give it to me. Does anyone know if the Madison ave address in Sacramento that I found through google correct? I know they changed their phone number a while back but I don't know if they moved offices! Any help would be appreciated.

I was willing to pay but the gang of people mocking me on speaker phone from the number above never asked or gave me chance to pay.  

This will probably go right to these highly skilled and clearly committed representatives.  I will be sending my third recording just recieved to US Bank to advise them of your very effective approach to cllecting their debts.

Just keep the evidence of your adolescent staff unproductive abusive name calling coming I will be so happy if my boss decides to refer her also recorded call to Progressive's Legal Dept.  They represent call centers and I bet they know all the rules.

I have spoken to them numerous time, each time asking for documention and still have not recieved it!!!! I have reported them to the FTC. I will not tolerate someone yelling at me, my mother, coworkers and my child. THese guys are lower than scum....

This company still refuses to send me any paperwork. Got a call from them yesterday, they said they were instructed to call the property owners of my address. I rent and they knew my landlords names. I reported them to the FTC.these people are crazy and not following any rules. The supposed debt is not on my credit report and when I asked them to give me information regarding the debt she stated "do younot know who you owe money to" not from 2006!!!!

I have been receiving the same calls at my job.  They are very rude people.  The guy calls me at work and tell me that he is with CRSI and looking for me.  He uses my first name only so that was a little confusing so I answered with my full name.  He informed me that I owed a debt from a payday loan company.  I informed him that I have not taken out a loan through a payday loan service.  I also told him to send me a correspondence through the mail so I could verify the debt. He then got really angry, calls me a liar and demands to be transferred to my payroll department.  I hung up but I want to know, can a company garnish your wages without providing proof of the debt.

They have been harrassing me for over a month at my place of employment being very rude and beligerent to the from desk. i just want them to stop.I do not owe them anything...

I first started receiving calls about 6 months ago , claiming I owed for a payday loan taken out in June ,2008 that I didn't recall anything about !!!!! Doesn't take a genius to figure SCAM, over 2.5yrs & just then being contacted , I tried polite but that went out window real fast when this Rude sob started saying really demeaning insulting comments , when I start to unload ,click ! Didn't hear another peep till noticed n bank statement a $56.00 draft from checking account , guess who ? Promptly , put stop pay on any further  which was never authorized although CRSI says different ! Did some digging in old bank statements & I did borrow that money but also paid in full the Next Month , I don't owe a penny , & sent them proof , & their still trying to scam me! Don't talk to these Thieves, their CROOKS :'(!ZZZ!!!ZZZ

This company called my job, and asked to speak with my supervisor. Isn't that against the law?

CRSI, rated F by the BBB in California.  Requesting payment on a debt that was paid to the original creditor.  Very rude and harassing when calling my place of employment, threatening all kinds of things, we record all of our calls. They refuse to send any documentation of the debt to me.I have filed a complaint with the FTC and the Attorney General.  My next step will be calling an Attorney, as they are clearly violating the FDCPA.  The debt they say I owe is not on my credit report either.

They stopped calling me for a couple months and are back at it again. Since I have requested proof of debt in writing and they have not sent me a shred of paperwork I will continue to ignore them. I pulled my credit reports and they are not reporting the "debt" so it doesn't really matter to me!  Keep calling guys!!

My husband received a call from them for the first time on Saturday.  At the time, he was standing 10 ft in the air on a ladder and told them he would have to get back to them.  This is when all hell broke loose.  They told him that they were going to contact his employer and hung up on my husband.  The collector then called my Mother in law.  She told him that my husband no longer lives there and to remove her number.  The collector went on to tell her how she is a horrible mother and she should have raised her dead beat son better.  Told her he believes she is prob in assisted living.  My husband was going to call them back of course to lay into the guy, this is when I grabbed the phone.  I've worked debt collection, I know the FDCPA laws and I knew he was breaking them.  As soon as I called, I asked for the guys name.  Didn't take long for him to start yelling at me to ID myself....which I did several times.  I asked him to provide us with proof of this debt.  He said he didn't need to provide proof bc he has already contacted my husbands work and they were going to garnish his wages.  He continued to tell me that we were horrible people and the way we were living was shameful.  Really?  I dont know if they really have the ability to garnish but we do know that they did call his work and were very rude to them aswell.

Got a call from this number on our company office main line.  He says is name is Richard Anthony and got very aggressive with me when attempting to leave a message for a person in our office.  When I asked what was the purpose of the call, he proceeded to demand I just take a message and called me a "robot." Sounded like a very smart guy - yeah sure.

You are so right.....they got pissed at me because I told them not to call me anymore and they are violating my rights.  He started to insult me on  the phone.....what a joke
